Ch 34 – Into the Multiverse
(An Unknown Amount of Time Later)
Inside a thousand kilometers long saucer-shaped spaceship, a figure resides in the main control room filled with floating holographic screens, strange spherical and cubic devices with strange alien runes carved into them, and the figure has a ginormous height of 5'6, pale white skin that looks unnatural, wearing a white shirt and black pants floating in the air while their black hair sways in stopped time.
Opening their eyes, a calculating glimmer seeps through both of his jet black irises that seem to hold a universe in them, grabbing hold of the time stopper cube laying on the table in front of him, he slowly moves back time by the zeptoseconds, the blazing hot cosmos in front of him shrinking down to the inception of the current universe he is in, to the time the universe first started along with time coming into existence.
'I still have a migraine organizing God's memories but finally, after what seemed like eons, I finally finished it, and was it a chore. But with that, I essentially have infinite data to use due to God's omniscience within God's own universes.' Braun thought, his mind calming down while he glances at the grand spectacle happening in front of him, all the primordial black holes, the first stars to be born, everything that happened at the very starting point presented itself to him like an open book.
As he slowly rewinds time, he finally stopped it when he finds his surrounding area being disoriented, chaotic, and incomprehensible due to the chaotic laws of reality he currently resides in.
Glancing down, he looks at his time controller cube and alters its structure until it became a spherical metallic ball that would allow him to do a god-like achievement, to induce a Big Crunch and destroy an entire universe.
With a cold gaze, a wormhole forms in front of him, and with a casual toss, the ball appears straight in the middle of the infinitely dense point where all the particles in the universe reside, soon, the ball rapidly expands and absorbs most of the particles that should have formed the big bang, weakening its impact to a vast degree while the sphere formed a barrier around the pool of particles.
'Is this what it feels like to be a god-like existence? To destroy universes on a whim, how… marvelous.' Braun thought, his face remaining stoic under his absolute control over his emotions, watching the spherical barrier cover the infinite point of particles.
Tugging at the barrier, time finally resumes once more and within an instant, he wasn't able to process one bit, a boom suddenly explodes within the sphere while his body instantly disassembled into nothing but a floating mass of particles, his brain turning into nothing but pure elements from the sheer force the Big Crunch produced while the thousand-kilometer-long ship around him disintegrates into nothingness.
Soon, a marvelous scene appears from the void around him, the barrier between universes got destroyed and what was shown was a scene where Macro Clouds the size of universes floats around the area between universes, known by many names such as the Void or something else.
Nothing happened for a good while, the countless universes stranded in the void simply did their own thing, some exploded and became reborn anew, some just stayed stagnant, and others changed from a perfect sphere into a cube, into a flat plane, all kinds of weird shit happened in this place.
And after an unknown amount of time, something miraculous happened within the very void between multiverses, reality itself seems to bend around one point in the colorful void as a humanoid entity soon forms, from quarks being transformed into neutrons, protons, and electrons. Then those subatomic particles formed into numerous strange elements, their structure being so stable they were nigh-invulnerable, from the ground up, the structure of what appears to be toes, to legs, to a torso, arms, and finally a brain and a head to cover it.
Opening his eyes, Braun was greeted by the grand sight of the Multiversal Void, the beauty swallowing his whole mind to enjoy and appreciate, to finally reach this place after more than a decade has been a very long or short journey to him depending on his sense of time that has been messed up by his immortal lifespan and body.
'I'm finally here.' Braun thought, reveling at the current feeling he felt while he connects to his drastically large field once more, connecting to a countless amount of stray quarks that pop into existence around him due to the chaotic reality of the Multiversal Void, he forms countless atoms from nothingness and slowly, a swarm of a silvery-white material flies around him just like his nanobots, and one by one, the structure of what appears to be a ship is starting to form.
From the hull to the engines, from thrusters to a warper, a new ship was made that was modest in size compared to the last one he was in just a while ago right before he crunched a universe out of existence, from thousands of kilometers long, his new ship was simply a few tens of meters long, something much more practical and energy-efficient though energy is not really a problem for him with his antimatter generators and such.
As he flies around, he enters the main control room of the modest size ship that was filled with strange devices strewn about like a computer compose of holographic screens, keyboards with strange letters on them, or the floating black cubes lined on the walls that glow green from time to time clearly indicating something dangerous was stored inside them, or heck, even the guns lined up nearly everywhere with weird designated names to them like Antimatter Ray or Time Fractal.
Dropping down to the cold hard metallic ground, he walks to the window made of translucent nigh-invulnerable material to inspect the grand multiverse, a beautiful scenery only a few in the infinite multiverse could ever hope to witness, just the beauty alone passes through Braun's tranquil mind and brought him more enlightenment to the beauty of life, his mind experiencing another nirvanic experience from just a single glance.
'How… beautiful. To finally go back to this place after desperately escaping the Central Finite Curve, it feels so freeing. This… this is my growth, my progress in its rawest form.' Braun thought, a shine appearing in his eyes that shows countless stars within his void black eyes, putting his right hand on the window, he watches the floating celestial constructs around him with a slight smile on his face, the beauty mesmerizing him like no other, finally, he can freely explore the infinite multiverse as he pleases without obstruction from any universal barrier and such.
But his grin soon falters upon a strange sight, a sight that surprised him, which was surprising in itself considering his mind has reached a level beyond normal man, a level where he could process countless thoughts within a split second, a mind that brings him an undying will, a state of absolute control over his emotions, a mind that was clear and tranquil.
Right in the middle of countless universes, a singular celestial body looks so different compared to the other universes beside it, universes themselves look pretty strange but this one… It doesn't look strange, it looks orderly, a universe seemingly tucked inside a strange cage of sorts from what he could deduce.
Glancing at the universe in the shape of a sphere contained within a strange spherical barrier, his curiosity was hooked upon this strange scene, closing his eyes, his mind blitzes through Rick's memories but no single universe like this presented itself to him, some were similar but this one is too… different, too… strange.
It's as if an unnatural force has covered the entirety of that singular universe, and it somehow gave him a strange feeling, it was as if something about it connects to him, not just on the spiritual level but something much deeper that made him feel chaotic emotions, no, emotions were something that he has absolute control over, so this means something much more than just simple emotions to him, this is something that could be considered conceptual.
Looking at it, it was as if his gaze was penetrating into it, trying to uncover the secrets lying within it, if someone was to be given that gaze, they might even feel an unnatural amount of fear that could stop their heart, a killing glare if you will.
Shaking his head, he closes his eyes and started to think.
'It took me 358,300,812 seconds to get out of this universe and reach this level. Hmm, why not, let's see how far I have truly grown by creating a new body to see what is happening inside that universe and uncover its secrets. No special abilities, no cheats, I'll rebuild the same body I had back when I transmigrated to Eldia and test how much my mind has truly grown since the start.' Braun finally decides, his thought process is a bit of a weird one considering how his mind has grown since then, but doing a test such as this must bring him some benefits in multiple ways, perhaps to see his growth rate and what he could fix by being blinded by his god-like mind, a tunnel vision of sorts.
Connecting to his field while still having his eyes closed, he was presented with countless subatomic particles he could control on a whim, without even a hint of strain in his mind, a body of flesh and blood was soon formed right beside him from the ground up, from a skeletal structure to veins, then muscles, organs, skin, and voila, a human body was made that resembles something closely interlinked with Braun as a whole.
'The body that I originally had in my first life, how… nostalgic.' Braun thought, glancing at his 5'6 body that has rosy white skin having some blemishes and scars here and there that brought some memories to his mind that he simply dismisses, glancing at his old body, he chuckles at how trash he was in talent, potential, nearly everything about him was mediocre. Manifesting a set of clothes consisting of a white shirt and black pants, he puts it over his naked body and nods his head.
'Goals, grow in power that nothing would be able to beat me on Earth, and see what that universe holds in store for me.' Braun thought, pointing his right hand to the air right beside them, the inner structure of his right arm activates to shoot a golden portal in front of them, illuminating the room with its golden light. Putting his left arm over his new body's head, he closes his eyes and prepares for the incoming transfer.
With a zap, his consciousness was transferred in a split second, and in just an instant, he instantly got accustomed to his new, very weak, vulnerable, mortal body. Opening his eyes, he glances at both of his arms with intrigued eyes and takes in deep breaths.
'This… this feels so… natural.' Braun thought, moving his body around and seeing how good it felt, taking in deep breaths, he nods his head and puts his right arm on his beating heart, a swirl of emotions raging in his very soul.
'To be human once more, it only serves as another reminder of what I was before, and what I could be.' Braun thought, feeling his cold logical soul reigniting once more with the will to improve, and it only grew stronger upon a screen suddenly flashing in his vision that made his eyes have a cold glint for a split second.
'Save and Load.' Braun thought, a smirk appearing on his face while dismissing the screen away. Standing in front of the portal, he takes a last glance at his ship and the Multiversal Void with a wide grin on his face, fully confident at his success and how in the end, even if he does die, it's nothing but a calculated move.
Without hesitation, he takes his first step into another universe with a new body, starting once more from scratch to test himself, and this one single move, this one single decision might change Braun's very fate as a whole.

Wow, revision really does change and improve a lot of shit, this chapter went from decent to great, but I would only revise once in a blue moon so don't get your hopes up.
