Ch 160 – A Friendly Spar
Loud booms were constantly heard inside a weird structure of gray rocks. The structure was akin to a rocky dome, but with a hollow inside and an empty ceiling above, allowing it to form into a natural arena-like area.
Inside the rocky arena, three figures can be seen duking it out at one another. Constant bright flashes erupted from one another as they attacked, dodged, and defended, each showing the fearsome might of a Peak A Rank Hunter!
One was a red-haired man with fearsome muscles, his upper body was naked as he wore baggy black pants below. His eyes stared fiercely at his competition, gleaming with bloodthirsty light like a hungry beast. Countless rainbow-colored beast totems surrounded his entire body, each totem giving off the aura of a true living being that has been absorbed into his body.
On the other hand, there was a young man with long black hair and shining black eyes. He held the aura of a sword immortal as he wore simple white robes that covered his entire body. Even in such fierce conditions, not a single splotch appeared on his clothes, clearly showing his absurd might!
And finally, there was a young man with fluffy golden hair and golden eyes standing far away from the other two. He wore a simple black hoodie and pants, while a pair of black gauntlets covered both of his arms. Constant blue sparks erupted from the soles of his feet and his palms as countless constructs surrounded him.
Observing from a faraway area, a black goo analyzed their sparring while slowly devouring a pile of dead corpses below it. The corpses looked similar to a yellow harpy with spiky feathers, and one glance alone from an experienced hunter would let them know that they are the powerful A Rank Monster—Thunder Harpy King!
"MAKOTO YOU PUSSY!" Gal Jum shouted, his body transforming partially into a brown bear. Quicky, his body turned larger and more muscular as his palm strikes swatted away the swarm of earth golems surrounding him.
"Fuck you, Jum! You really think I'd get close to a battle maniac like you?!" Yokota Makoto shouted in response, his eyes glowing brilliantly as blue electrical sparks erupted from the soles of his feet and a pair of earth boulders floated to the sky. With haste, they quickly turned dark and metallic with a bright blue glow gathering inside them.
But quickly, Yokota Makoto widened his eyes and his body dropped to the ground, just faintly dodging the thin line of sword energy that flew past him to his two newly formed cannons! Clicking his tongue, more electrical sparks erupted and he slammed one of his palms to the ground, the earth around him then gathered and more earth golems surrounded him.
Faraway, the calm and collected Qian Feng clicked his tongue upon seeing more annoying Earth Golems surround Yokota Makoto. Though they aren't that strong, they are able to be produced in large quantities due to Makoto's brilliant talent and the effort he has poured into mastering that ability.
Not only that, the golems themselves are starting to get stronger as more and more changes were given to them. From the start, they were large and clunky, but now they were the size of humans with a combat-based form, they even somehow have their own form of will and can move without Yokota Makoto's active input!
Flying to the sky, Qian Feng waved his sword, and countless sword constructs formed around him. Thrusting his sword forward, the energy swords around him rained down and killed tens of Earth Golems, but more and more appeared continuously!
"That's it! Fuck you, Makoto! You want a fucking war, I'll give you a fucking war!"
A burst of brilliant rainbow light then erupted from around Gal Jum's body, forcing the other two to shield their eyes and when they opened them, they saw something shocking.
Beasts of all shapes and sizes appeared out of nowhere. From Fire Boars, Wind Oxen, Wyverns, a myriad beast army was formed in one single move by Gal Jum! But if one were to inspect him right now, one can see his body has gotten a lot weaker while a majority of his beast totems have disappeared, but he still held a maniacal smile on his face at that moment.
"SHIT!" Both Yokota Makoto and Qian Feng shouted out in alarm at the army of beasts that appeared. Instantly, the battlefield turned more chaotic as Yokota Makoto's Earth Golem army was quickly decimated by the horde of beasts that charged forward relentlessly.
Clicking his tongue, Yokota Makoto dispelled his focus over his Earth Golem and rapidly flew to the air. Seeing that, a swarm of flying monsters charged at him as he gritted his teeth fiercely. With his connection to the earth now gone, that would mean his energy expenditure to manipulate the earth would be a lot higher.
With that thought in mind, he quickly waved both of his arms and grinned maniacally: "You're really taking this serious, huh? WELL THEN LET'S GET SERIOUS!"
Brilliant golden sparks erupted from both of his arms as the air around him quickly turned hot and ionize. With a swing of his arm, the ionized air charged forward and decimated countless monsters in its wake, the mere heat alone was overbearing and far above what monsters can handle.
But he didn't stop there, a glint appeared in Yokota Makoto's eyes as the golden ball of light landed in a dense horde of monsters, and then with a boom, the ball of light quickly expanded and the unstable atoms that were stored in the middle quickly created a large nuclear explosion.
Seeing that the two were going serious, Qian Feng snickered and he flew high into the sky. As a burst of white light covered the area around him, a large amount of energy was expended and countless swords swarmed the sky. Each sword held a fierce aura to them, and with one command from Qian Feng, they all activated their special abilities.
With shock, the two halted and felt the grand divine aura of the swords Qian Feng made and knew that they were actually magical swords!
Fire, wind, lightning, water, earth, each sword held magical effects that were unique to its own! Some multiplied, some turned invisible, while others fused with other swords to turn stronger!
Quickly, three different areas were formed. An army of beasts, a flying explosion maniac, and a sea of magical swords!
But the three stared at each other fearlessly! They were Servants, beings neither dead nor alive! They wouldn't die, nor would they live!
Gal Jum laughed heartily and commanded his beasts to charge forwards to the other two and they both responded the same.
Yokota Makoto manipulated the atoms around him, quickly turning them unstable as a quick way to bring forth damage while using a relatively small amount of energy.
Qian Feng manipulated his countless swords, bringing forth an array of abilities, and killed countless beasts in the process.
As the smell of blood reeks the air, and as countless beasts turned into flakes of rainbow light, one can see that Gal Jum was losing and he was losing quick! Even though he had an overwhelming advantage in numbers, the average beast was unfortunately too weak to even deal damage to the other two!
Gritting his teeth, Gal Jum knew that he had to turn the tides quickly if he wants to be the first one to lose! Even as a battle maniac, he wasn't stupid and held a high understanding of the current situation of the battle.
'If I were to absorb them all back, I'd quickly get overwhelmed by Feng's swords and Makoto's strong nuclear explosions. Even with peak A Rank strength, I'd have no way to defeat the both of them! One is too quick and holds high firepower, while the other has basically unlimited blades to obstruct my path!' Gal Jum's mind quickly tried to form a way out of his precarious situation but to no avail.
But his eyes gleamed with eerie blood light after a short pause, he snickered and laughed: 'Am I the one to feel discouraged in the face of danger? No! I am Gal Jum! I am the Beast Emperor! I'll show them all what it means to hold the power of Myriad Beasts!'
Without hesitation, he roared loudly and a bright rainbow light erupted from all the beasts in the area. They were all quickly reabsorbed into his body, and the two saw that the countless beast totems returned to Gal Jum's body in a few breaths' time.
But he didn't stop there, quickly, the totems on his body quickly reduced in numbers. From countless to only a few, but the remaining totems that were left were ginormous, each being a lot stronger and more monstrous in appearance: 'To sacrifice quantity for quality! Even though I've lost some strength, the remaining totems on my body are all fearsome beasts!'
Gal Jum roared loudly, his body shining brightly with rainbow lights as his form quickly changed, an indication of him transforming into another beast!
Seeing that, the other two quickly attacked him with all their might but it was already too late. A large arm swatted the air, swinging away the attacks as the two saw Gal Jum now transformed into a powerful Giant tens of meters in size, his aura bordering between A Rank and S Rank!
But he didn't stop there, even with such strength, the two can still quickly overpower him! With another roar, brilliant rainbow light erupted once more, shocking the other two out of their wits from this unknown technique!
"Myriad Beast Transformation: Beast Fusion!"
A monstrous roar erupted, and they saw the rainbow light quickly gathering around Gal Jum's back, forming into a pair of massive wings the size of elephants!
The light finally receded, showing Gal Jum's new form. A Giant tens of meters in size, with flowing red hair like blood, gleaming blood eyes that showed boundless ferociousness. The pair of wings behind him was dyed the color of blood, and a monstrous aura erupted from the giant.
"SHIT!" The two shouted, their eyes squinted with shock before the two grinned widely.
"Hahaha! Gal Jum you bastard, you really want to finally end this, don't you?" Yokota Makoto laughed, his eyes turning into slits as brilliant golden sparks erupted from his body.
Quicky, the terrain below him floated into the air and surrounded him, encapsulating him in a shell of earth and it continued to grow and grow. Until finally, his size reached the same as Gal Jum, transforming himself into an Earth Giant!
But he didn't stop there, his body quickly turned into the five elements. Each limb turned into fire, wind, lightning, and water, while the main body turned dark and metallic!
Seeing those two bastards turning all kaiju-like, Qian Feng laughed and peerless sword energy erupted from his sword. Quickly, the sword energy surrounded him and formed another giant. Taking physical form, the sword energy turned into a ginormous Qian Feng colored transparent white, with long flowing hair and wielding a giant sword!
Seeing that, the three charged at one another!
One was a myriad beast formed between two different entities!
One manipulated the world to transform themselves into a godly being!
And one was a sword immortal!
A flash of bright light erupted, a loud boom, and silence ensued…
"I WIN! FUCK YOU! FUCK YOU GUYS! THAT IS THE POWER OF THE MYRIAD BEAST EMPEROR! AHAHA- kuwak."
Puking out blood, the giant Gal Jum quickly burst into rainbow light and he returned to his human form, the beast totems of the two beasts he used to turn into a winged Giant held some damage and would take some time to recover, but in the end, Gal Jum won fair and square!
"Shit, I really thought I'd have you there, but wielding five different elements at the same time at such a gargantuan scale was stupid on my part," Yokota Makoto sighed as he erupted from a pile of rubble.
On the other hand, Qian Feng gracefully fell from the ground and landed right beside them with a smile.
"Bahamut, let us get out of here, shall we?" Qian Feng looked at the black slime beside him with a smile, and Bahamut nodded. As it wobbled slowly, it reached a ginormous Thunder Harpy King and with a blur, it suddenly disappeared while a blue portal opened up in the middle of the large dome.
With that, the four quickly got out of the dungeon as another day of sparring with each other passed by.

Ahem, I may or may not have favoritism for Gal Jum because he is kind of like how I envision the potential male character for a potential new original called Bloody Transcendence, with Barton Lomew as the main character.
