*** (A Day Later)
Opening her ocean blue eyes, Imerda groaned as soft rays of sunlight hit her face. Yawning loudly, she rolled out of her bed and stood up with a groan. Her eyes were tired, her body was aching from the previous fight from yesterday, and the adrenaline finally wore off upon her awakening.
"Ugh! Stupid president! Why do I have to follow his stupid plans even on Saturdays!" Imerda grumbled, slowly going downstairs, her face was frowning while she continued to yawn. Her long brown hair was messy, while her ocean blue eyes were squinted.
Going downstairs, she treated herself to a quick morning breakfast and watched some TV, well, Magical TV to be exact. Rubbing her hair, she chanted lightly before a series of magical events ensued.
Her hair became tidy, her body became invigorated and refreshed, and a pair of clothes came from upstairs down to her standing body. As her clothes fell down to the ground, the spirits around her helped put on her clothes along with the featureless white mask.
"[Mirror]."
She canted lightly, before a reflective mirror the size of her body formed in front of her. Looking at her now clean self, she nodded her head and took the last sip of her coffee before dismissing the mirror.
As she let go of the coffee mug, a wind spirit went to lift it back to her kitchen counter, while the water spirits automatically went to clean it. Continuing to walk absentmindedly, she found herself standing in front of a suspicious path of stairs leading down to a certain underground room and started to walk down.
Nearing the white door at the end of the flight of white stairs, she opened it while chanting lightly, "[Lock]."
As the spirits went to seal the door shut, she found herself in her basement where a suspicious series of runes were engraved on her basement wall. The series of runes were complex and interwoven, containing insights of magic one would thirst for, yet she remained unperturbed for she was sadly an ignorant woman in the arcane path.
Walking up to the runes in the shape of a gateway, she pressed on it and felt the mana whirling inside her soul—colored snow white—extend out of her chest, down to her arm, and out of her open palm, onto the rune sequence, causing it to grow a dark purple.
As the mana powered up the runes, she watches as a dark purple gateway opens up in front of her, and she nonchalantly walks through it without a second thought.
"Aha! Emily Crest, my fellow member of the Student Council! Welcome to the Dragon Fields!" Upon arrival, she found herself standing on a small grassy hill, directing her eyes downwards, she finally saw the source of the androgynous voice.
There he was, a man wearing the Magic Academy's school uniform along with a fluttering black cape held by a single gold cord. His face was covered by a featureless white mask showing his dark purple eyes that could directly pierce one's soul.
Beside him, the Secretary of the Student Council, Maria Fluoret, plowed the brown soil all around them. Looking all around the farmland named Dragon Fields, a name personally given by Lute Stolas, she saw countless earth golems plowing the soul. Yet Lute and Maria also plowed the soil themselves.
"W-Welcome back, Emily-san!" Maria shouted from the distance. Hopping from the small hill, the spirits of wind helped her glide down right in front of Lute who materialized a new hoe for her.
"Take this, with your help, our manpower would increase!" Hearing him, Imerda rolled her eyes and grabbed the hoe.
Walking into the distance, she felt a tinge of regret for joining the Student Council, because when school started…
*** (Flashback)
"Eh?" Imerda asked, her eyes widening as they stood in front of a vast green plain of grass, while Lute held three hoes.
"Yes! Our first step to change the kingdom is with our efforts to bring forth the gift of life! We shall farm till our bones creak, and our minds weak, for we shall uncover the secrets of life and bring forth new life!"
As soon as she heard Lute's speech and the hoes in his arm, Imerda turned tail and prepared to run.
"Halt right there! [Paralyze]!"
As her body halted from the electric shock that coursed through it, she saw Lute's malignant eyes flashing with a malicious light.
'NOOOOO!!!' Imerda screamed, for a helpless fate awaited her.
*** (Flashback End)
Now, there she stood, plowing the fields absentmindedly while countless spirits terrain the land around her.
Looking to her back, she saw Lute relentlessly plowing the soil like a machine. His body seemingly held boundless strength, and he weirdly didn't rely on his magic to plow the field, his argument was that it would "Bring him closer to life" or whatever it was, Imerda already forgot due to the absurd, and eccentric antics Lute has done these past few days she had met him.
Sighing, she also looks back at Maria in the distance who also plowed the ground. Even though the distance between them was far, Imerda could sense that she was actually enjoying this farming adventure they'd been on this past week, and only shook her head.
'Ugh, what happened to my life? Sigh, sometimes, I really wish I could just go back to Earth and continue my grand career as a cosplayer!' Imerda sighed, her mind started to wander back to her past life, while a heavy feeling hung on her heart.
*** (Flashback)
On a certain blue planet of technology, a young girl was born on a certain day in the land of Japan.
Born to a rich family, she was given a spoiled life since young. Any gift she wanted, she could have. From food, toys, the latest consoles, the best computers, and expensive cars, the world was basically her oyster without anything to obstruct her.
Yet with luxury came endless boredom. Currently, in her bedroom, she lay down on her large bed with a bored gaze towards her white ceiling, her eyes were devoid of light.
'Life is just so… monotonous.' She thought, from her view, the whole world was bleak, colorless, lacking any real meaning. The meaning of her life was simply gone. Since birth, she had everything she could ever want.
A loving family, a rich background, no worries for the lack of food, the only thing lacking in her life was the simple thing called meaning, the excitement brought by simply existing.
With no worries, came no excitement.
That was until one fateful day.
"Eh?" She muttered, her eyes widening in surprise as she saw something in the corner of her eyes while in class.
In front of her, students huddled around a certain student, and there she saw it, on that pitifully small phone screen, her first ever contact with the miraculous world of anime!
From then on, her whole world expanded onto endless horizons!
It was like opening the gates to another world, color appeared in her life for the first time since ever, giving her a new meaning to exist. Her very being regained the thing called life.
She experienced true joy, true happiness, not from material wealth, it was joy stemming from the thing called experience, memories worth living for. Yet with the existence of joy… Came the existence of pain, the thing that made her heart ache, the thing that she wasn't able to acquire no matter how rich she was.
That thing was… was… was that she can't enter those magical worlds of vivid imagery. She was stuck, stuck in her bleak world called Earth. No way to enter those fictional realms she desperately wanted to be real.
And yet… and yet… she finally saw a way to realize those dreams of her, and that was…
"Cosplay?" she muttered lightly, her teary eyes regaining back their clarity as she scrolled through her phone. Her pale white skin got illuminated by her phone screen, and her arm trembled upon seeing those images seemingly straight out of her favorite animes and otome games.
From popular characters given life, she finally got a new calling to pull her out of the darkness she found herself holed in once more. It was like the first sign of hope after staying in a dark tunnel for so long.
And so, she ventured her first steps onto the land of cosplay, finally gaining a semblance of her previous dream. Instead of entering those worlds, she would make those worlds enter hers.
And… She got hit by fucking truck-kun one fine day and got reincarnated to another fucking world baby!
*** (Flashback End)
Letting out a sigh, she only chuckled and continued to plow the ground before her. For her life has changed a lot since then, from a depressed and anxious teen to a magical girl farmer.
And so, under their hard efforts, a few hours passed without them even noticing.

Glancing at the setting sun in the distance, Imerda let out an exhausted sigh as she sat down on a wooden bench along with Maria sitting opposite to her. Smiling lightly, she opened her mouth behind her mask to talk, "Lute's really a piece of work, huh?"
Hearing her, Maria only chuckled before speaking, "Well… He is a bit energetic. Though I don't really think that's bad."
"Yeah, he's just a goofball even though he wants to act like a mature adult. Though, what is he having you do anyway?" Imerda asked.
"Well, it's on a certain experiment he has been doing with my Life Attribute," Maria smiled, before a flash of light suddenly appeared beside them.
"Hello, your dear president is back! Back with some delicious bread!" Looking to her side, Imerda saw Lute sitting on one of the wooden benches around the large wooden table and was also holding a brown basket.
Taking a whiff, the scent of bread wafted to her nostrils. Putting the basket in the middle of them, Lute waves his arm, and a tear in space appeared, plunging his hand inside the dark purple portal, he pulled out a large container holding crystal clear water.
"Bread from Love Heart Bakery and water gained by yours truly, enjoy!" Lute announced, the tear in space disappearing as he grabbed his own bread.
Taking her own, Imerda was surprised at how light it felt to hold before nearing it to her mouth covered by the white mask, and felt the bread phasing directly through her mask and directly onto her open mouth. Biting down, her eyes widened as she felt the crunchy exterior and fluffy interior playing in her mouth.
A myriad of unique flavors exploded like fireworks in her mouth. As stars shone on her ocean blue eyes, she couldn't help but open her mouth and asked after wolfing down on the bread she took, "W-Where did you get this bread from?!"
Hearing her question, Lute lightly laughed before shaking his head in disappointment, "You truly are an uncultured swine, Emily. This bread is from the criminally underrated restaurant Love Heart Bakery! With a beautiful owner, and perfect staff members!"
"Y-Yeah! I also buy bread from that bakery! It's definitely great if you want some pastries, Emily-san!" Maria added.
"Really? You really mean it, Maria-san?" Imerda asked. She was skeptical of Lute, but she easily trusted the oh-so-pure Maria Fluoret.
"Mmm!" Maria nodded her head.
"Well, if even Lute recommends it, then it must really be a great bakery! Fine, I'll visit that restaurant tomorrow," Imerda decided what she will do tomorrow, before continuing to wolf down on the bread like a hungry hippo.
And so, she looked into the distance and saw the sun has started to set, before standing up and groaning. "It was a nice day, you two. See you later on Monday."
"Oh, you're leaving already, Emily-san?" Maria asked.
"Yeah, I'm dying right now. Ngh, if only a certain someone would just relent and use his magic already," Imerda glared at Lute before turning around.
"Goodbye, Emily. Remember to finish any given homework to uphold the pride and dignity of the Student Council," Lute reminded before a dark purple portal appeared in front of Imerda.
"Yes, yes. See you guys later."
With that, this day has come to a close with rapid advancements in their farm, and their bonds a lot closer compared to before.
AN: This chapter has 2086 words.
Bonds, friendship, love, yeah right. Once we reach the end of Volume 6, we'll see how Braun has everyone as his pawn. And I know that because I'm future author here, did you know that I finally wrote gay sex?
