By The Waterfall

Time past by, both of them stay silent in their journey visiting the waterfall. Feeling each other's body heat while enjoying the natures view.

As they got near, Kanisha can't help but be enchant by the scenery of the waterfall.

"Is this what you want me to see?" Kanisha asked as Axel slowly put her down on the soft grasses.

Kanisha takes off her shoes, feeling the grass on her feet, she got teared up as she never thought she will experience this again.

Axel go to the edge of the waterfall and put his feet on the nearby rocks.

"I-it's be-beautiful." Kanisha said as she looked at Axel. The light reflecting his perfectly tanned skin, his handsome face looks so peaceful as he watch the water fall down.

Kanisha goes up to him, fold her pants up and copy what he was doing.

"This is why I wanted to show it to you. To cheer you up a little." Axel said as he look at Kanisha's eyes.

Kanisha felt touched by what Axel said but she's doubting him. You can't trust words this days.

She just nod at him and stare at the flowing water.

"What do you want to ask me?" Axel breaks the silence between them.

"Umm. Why are you there yesterday at the wooden house?" Kanisha asked as she sit down on one of the big rocks while wiggling her foot in the water. She wants to know the answers.

Axel sigh and sit on the rock in front of her.

"It's been 3 days since I took you out there. You were asleep for 2 nights Kanisha." Axel said. Kanisha is shocked at the revelation.

"Wow." That's the only word that Kanisha could mutter.

"As to your question. I think I need to tell you the details so you can comprehend what's going on." Axel said as Kanisha nod as a reply.

"Datu contacted me, saying he needs a place to detain a dangerous species called Lamia. Everyone knows the history of Lamia so it's quite a shock for us to know that he had captured one." Axel pause and look at Kanisha who is listening carefully.

"That happened two years ago, we didn't pay a lot of attention to it because we're also struggling to survive in this world. When we settled and regain control to our finances. I visited the area where Datu build his camp. It's located on the tallest mountain here which is surrounded by mist and tall thick trees. It's hard for a normal people to go up there, so it's quite a mystery place too." Axel said waiting for any comments fro. Kanisha but she remained silent.

Axel continues "A perfect hiding place for keeping a prisoner." Axel sigh. "I go up there to check his camp as they haven't contacted me for a year to report what's going on there." Axel stand up and goes towards Kanisha. He looked down at her.

"As I got up there, his men greet me but they seemed stiff and give distance towards me. Datu greeted me and lead to the wooden house to see you, to see a Lamia. I agreed but not because I want to see a Lamia. The reason is that I smelled the most addicting scent in my entire life. You're scent can be compared to a Wisteria." Axel paused and kneel down in front of Kanisha.

"That moment when I saw you, I know that you're my mate. My mind became blank seeing you lying on the floor in your skinny body and dirty T-shirt. I thought how much you suffer in the hands of Datu. I cannot control myself that time I took you away from him. He won't stop until your dead but I promise you I will protect as your mate." Axel said with sincerity in his voice.

"You're a werewolf." Kanisha said in a flat tone.

"I thought you knew." Axel said with furrowed eyebrows.

"Silly me haha but there's a guy who claimed I'm his mate." Kanisha couldn't believe what's happening to her. How could she possibly have two mates. The Moon Goddess really played her well.

Axel's eyes darkened when Kanisha mentioned someone claimed her. The thought of another man holding her makes him wants to tear that man apart.
