CHAPTER 21

Karen arrived home quite early, soggy and soaking wet .She was back from her exhausting voluntary work at the animal shelter and from a confrontation with the Coffee Stalker aka the Alley Creep.The auburn haired girl closed the door quietly behind her not wanting to startle her roommate .She slammed the front door ,hung her wet umbrella in a rack and left her soggy rain boots out by the front door to dry.As she slid out of her rain coat and did a quick shake to dry out her wet hair a little,She sighed as she remembered what happened between her and that creepy guy in the sedan and thought of the look on her older sister's face when she heard of it. She wondered what her sister's expression and reaction would be.Nope, she didn't say that right -She KNEW what her sister's reaction was gonna be.
