I sat down. I took a bite of pizza, shoulders slumping. Todd typed some stuff on his laptop. “This is the guy. Looks like a stuffy jerk.”

I nearly choked on my next chomp. Fate! Fate had jammed its fickle finger up my butt. Not a bad feeling, mind you, just, you know, kind of shocking. “He comes into the coffee shop! Doug has a huge crush on him!”

Todd looked at the photo again. “On him?”

He looked like Martin Mull, only more collegiate. I shrugged. “There’s no accounting for taste.”
