Pickup Day

They all went back to bed. Almora lay on her bed with eyes open as she stared at the ceiling. " I'm coming for you Monster".

It was finally the next day. The day they were going to leave to go and celebrate Thanksgiving with their families. The girls had gotten dressed and each of them carried a little bag.

"Are you going to tell your parents about what happened?" Amy asked. "Definitely I will. I'll make sure he gets severely punished" Almora said gritting her teeth. "Let's go and wait outside. Our drivers might start arriving any time soon" Stacy said. "Okay let's go" Almora nodded. "Bye room. See you next Sunday" Stacy waved at the room and they all laughed.

After making sure that they hadn't forgotten anything, they locked the door and left. They went outside the hostel building and walked to the front of the main building where other students stood waiting to go home.

"Let's sit here" Stacy said as she saw that it was comfortable enough for them to sit on. They sat down, placing their bags on their laps. After looking around for a while, sitting in silence. Stacy broke it first. "Where are the guys?" she asked. "Ohhh look, they are here" Amy said, pointing towards them.

"How did you guys know we were here?" Almora asked, looking up at Lucian. "Your scent was distinct from the others" he said, staring directly at her.

The others eyes turned to look at him immediately. "Just stop with your jokes right now. I'm in no mood for them" Almora said, rubbing her forehead. "And who said I was joking" he said with an expressionless face.

"Fine. Now we know that you're a werewolf or should we say vampire" Almora said bending her head slightly, raising both brows up. "Could you guys just stop behaving like kids already?" Amy said disturbing them both from their little banter.

Cars were entering and leaving the school environment and the students were also reducing. It was made compulsory for all students to leave. They didn't see Evans since they had been outside and they thanked God they didn't.

Oliver, Brian and Stacy had left already. Another car pulled up and someone with brown hair, lavender eyes. He had perfect cheekbones accompanied with chiseled chest and beautiful abs. He was 5'9. He wore a normal t-shirt with black jeans and a designer slipper. The ladies who saw him drooled at the sight in front of them.

"He's so hot" one girl squealed.

"He is the Red's brother, the first son of the Rencias" the girl beside her said.

"Meaning he's hot and super rich. Perfect combination" she squealed more and the other girl beside her just shaked her head.

Lucian who had heard some people squealing turned to see what was going on. He just rolled his eyes and muttered "Show off". "Little Fish!" Chris shouted when he was not too far from Almora.

Almora who heard that was about to turn and insult the person but to her surprise it was her brother. "Bhai!" she said standing up.

"Why are you so surprised to see me?. Aren't you happy I came to pick you?" he said pouting his mouth making a sad face. Almora sighed and walked up to him. "I'm happy in fact, very happy that you came. I was just a bit surprised because I wasn't expecting it" she said smiling.

"You aren't meant to be expecting a surprise" he smiled at her and spread his arms inviting her for a hug. She dived in immediately which got him surprised. "I feel so calm being like this" she said still hugging him.

He pulled her and held her by the shoulders. "Little fish, are you fine?" he asked, with worry on his face. "I'll tell you on the way" she said, smiling with her lips in a thin line. "Let me bid my friends bye" she said and her brother nodded.

His face had already become serious as he knew what his sister was going to tell him might or might not be worrisome. He just hoped for the best. She bid them goodbye and went back to the car with her brother and immediately they zoomed out of the school premises. Immediately Almora left, Lucian and Amy's pick-up came in and they also left.

After seeing that they were all gone, Evans came from behind the wall close to where Almora and her friends had sat. One couldn't easily sight anyone who was there.

He had an evil grin on. "You won't be able to report me Red because I won't let you". He saw his own pick-up arrive and walked to it. He entered the car and it zoomed off immediately.

Since they had left the school, Almora and Chris hadn't said anything to each other in the car. "Now would you explain to me what's bothering you?" he said breaking the silence.

Almora turned to look at him and said "Bhai, the same incident that happened 6 years ago, repeated itself yesterday".
