When Jotham's car appeared and curved at the corner ahead, Histoire had to refrain from leaving the shelter to run to the comfort that it could provide. She watched through the glass wall as it came to a stop at the side of the street. Despite him waiting for her, she did not move from the spot. She was shivering almost violently and her heart beat accelerated to a point where she was not breathing properly. Jotham opened the door on his side and exited the car, running around it until he reached the booth.

"Histoire! Let's go home!" He called out over the rain for her to hear him, but she still did not move. The expression on her face was that of a fright that almost broke his heart. She was very scared, but she had no reason to be. He had to make her understand that so he entered the booth and slowly approached her. She wasted no time and moved towards him, hugging his form. The tears that had welled up flowed freely, contributing to the wetness of his shirt.
