When Deus returned later that evening with Tsuki after dropping off Itsuki at the airport, he found Histoire quietly seated in her room and staring out the window at the night sky. Upon walking around the bed, he discovered a small piece of paper laying on her lap along with the expression on her face that proved that she had just been crying. He sat down on the bed beside her and noticing the sudden shift of the bed, Histoire noticed that Deus had entered the room.
He reached over to her lap and picked up the paper. He unfolded it and read over the short message that Jotham had left behind for her. Once he was done, he put it down on the bed covers between them. Histoire did not want to say much. Her throat hurt from the crying, and Deus decided that the silence would be better than trying to force her to reveal her obvious emotions to him.
