Fiendish

Histoire suffers from short-term memory lapses. She begins life anew with a few lost memories including those of a god, Fiend, who is in love with her. Her best friend is also in love with her, but her love interest is someone who lives in another country. She meets a wealthy young man who happens to be her neighbor and an old school mate she forgot about. Together they face hardships until Fiend returns to her and new problems arise. Histoire forms new relationships with other people, but knowing what their fates are, Fiend gives her an ultimatum: that she can only save one out of the five. Who will she decide is worthy of being saved?

A Drink To That

Histoire's tongue tasted a tang of bitterness against her lips. It had not yet registered to her that Andrew was currently on top of her and pinning her body down on the couch. The not-so eliciting moment lasted a few more seconds before Histoire rested her hands on his shoulders and lightly pushed him away. She figured it was okay for a kiss to be stolen here and there from time to time, but was not so sure if that was entirely allowed. Pushing away her first 'client' was not on her agenda.

"Uhm... I don't think physical contact is perm-"

"Don't worry. I won't get you into any trouble," Andrew interjected as he moved a few inches away from her. He remained hovering on top of her, looking down at her red cheeks. It was not possible to go further with her considering the time and the location, but he would have to reserve her for when the two weeks were up and she had retained the freedom to act in whatever way she desired.
