213 Regarding the Moving
Hey, guys. I just wanted to update you on how things are going. As I said in the last chapter, I started the process of transferring my novel to fanfiction. If it was only transferring, I would have it ready in a day or two, but not only I am correcting grammatical mistakes like saying sight instead of sigh or using similar words but with a different meaning (like prove instead of probe). Aside from that, I am also kind of re-writing some chapters. I was really a newbie back then - still am - so I made the mistake of "writing lazily".
"Go there." He ordered.
"Okay." They accepted.
Things like that.
It doesn't really flash out the essences/personalities of the characters unlike what I do now where I usually include their thoughts regarding what they heard/said. That's why I am adding some things to the sentences to give more "life" to them. Obviously, I am not going to do that with EVERY line of EVERY chapter because honestly, that would take a year.
Aside from that, I am also rewriting directly some entire sentences to make characters more consistent. I feel like when I started, I wanted to make changes in the personalities of the characters waaaaaaay too quickly, instead of making it a progressive thing, which made it seem like most of them were bipolar lmao. Hopefully, this makes everything better.
That brings me to my final point, since I know it will take more than I expected, I will start releasing the chapters in a batch of 20 or so unlike how I was going to do it at first which was all at once. This is mainly to give you something and not leave you hanging plus to encourage you to read the revised chapters. My word count in originals went +500 on average when they got rewritten, so yeah...
It's hard. Sometimes I feel like I am writing an entirely new chapter :'(
