Drip~ Drip~

His blood dripped down on to the magic circle which was drawn in a weird patterns, it glowed red as it absorbed the blood.

The red glow fell on the person's face revealing his appearance, It was none other than instructor Arron. His face was pale and the blood kept dripping down from his hand.

Seeing the circle was glowing, he tried to pull back his hand.

Drip~ Drip~

However, to his horror, he couldn't move his arm and soon the magic circle started to pull out his blood in a rapid speed.

He frowned and suddenly raised his left hand, and with the same small sword he cut down his right arm up to his elbow.

Criish~

Aggg~

He grunted as his lood spilled out from the severed part of his hand like a fountain. His right hand fell on to the magic circle and turned into ashes.

"This summoning ritual was becoming more and more dangerous. At first, it only needed my blood, a 7-Star rank mage's blood was a rare resource itself, but now, I need to cut off my body parts to offer as a sacrifice to activate this circle." He muttered under his breath as he took out something from his space ring.

It was a small potion bottle which was decorated with different kinds of gems stones all over it's surface, it contained green coloured liquid which seems to be shining time to time.

He immediately gulped it down, as the essence of the potion started to spread in his body, his right arm grown back in just a few seconds.

Boom~

Just as he recovered, a mana wave erupted from the magic circle making him step back a few centimetres away.

The magic circle glowed even redder and dark smoke started to come out from it's middle.

The dark smoke gathered at one point as a silhouette suddenly manifested there, it didn't have any proper structure but it vaguely looked like a human.

"This subordinate greets lord white mask." Arron immediately knelt on his knees and greeted the silhouette which he addressed as white mask.

"Considering that you've failed your mission, you seems to be a lot more relaxed than I expected." A menacing voice came from the silhouette making Arron shiver in fear as his hands trembled.

"I-I apologize to lord white mask for failing my mission." He stuttered while apologizing.

If any other instructor of the Magus academy were to see this scene, they will definitely think they are seeing an illusion. After all, Arron was known for his prideful personality, he didn't even care about the vice headmistres's decisions sometimes in the academy.

It would be really strange to see him fearing someone to the point he couldn't speak properly.

"Apologize? You really think the organisation will value your apologies and explanations or do you think that your so important to us that we will forgive you for the mistakes you've done?"

"I-I understand my mistakes and I will not let any errors stop our goals next time, all I need is another chance to prove myself." Arron begged as his heart rate quickened. He knew his life was not in his hands the moment he took the devil's hand for his benefits.

Lord white mask stayed silent for a few seconds before talking again.

"Alright, I will value your past contributions and forgive you this time...However you need to do another task."

"Another task?"

"Well, we do not have much time left, so let me explain it quickly. Your mission is, you should steal the miracle stone that was being safeguarded in the academy, there was no information about this stone in our hands for now, but we definitely know it exists in the academy. Inform others about this and get their help if needed, but you have to complete this Mission no matter what.

If we can get that stone, we will be many steps closer to our goals and our lords entry into this world will be lot faster." White mask spoke with a ecstatic voice.

"I will complete this mission and restore the organisation's trust on me." Arron said with determination in his tone.

"Of course you will do, if not, hehe." White mask didn't complete his sentence as his silhouette slowly started to disappear leaving the dimly lit room in silence.

Arron finally heaved a sigh of relief and stood up from his kneeling position. But his face suddenly showed a frown as he started thinking.

'I currently didn't have the special instructor's token, because of that I can't go into many private areas of the academy. Uhgg, that damned bit*h, how dare she demote me like that.

It's good that I didn't tell lord white mask about my situation, if he knew about this he will definitely kill me. I have no choice but to take help from others.'

Although white mask told him to depend on other organisation members in the academy, Arron didn't have any thoughts to do as he wanted to complete this mission by himself. After all, he didn't want to give credit to someone else.

"That girl, all this was because of her." He didn't forget the one who spoiled his plans. After all, if Kathleen had not healed that stupid cub, it couldn't have talked to it's mother.

"I will take care of you later. First, I need to focus on my mission."

Kathleen opened her eyes while rubbing them. Her eyes first blinked in confusion before changing into curiousity.

She didn't see her room's ceiling which she sees everyday when she wakes-up from her sleep. However, she noticed that she was standing in a dark place which seems like it doesn't have an end, her surroundings are filled with nothing but darkness.

"What is happening here?" She doesn't understand one thing. She clearly remembered that after completing the mission, she took some rest then she went to bed after eating her dinner at the canteen, but suddenly she was in this place.

As she was looking around, she suddenly heard a fluttering sound which made her alert, she turned around only to see a huge pair of eyes looking down at her.

Ekkk~

Suddenly she felt a huge weight falling her body making her kneel, she gritted her teeth and tried to rise up, after struggling a little she succeeded and stood up on her feet.

Boom~

However, the next second, the force that weighing on her increased ten fold, and it suddenly squashed her into the ground like a bug.
