First fight

Once all three of the girls were hacked, Clark took the three girls outside as a screen opened in front of him.

This was his controller screen, and it allowed him to use the girls as well as see the attacks…

'So… these girls are exactly like I requested… All different enough to be useful to me…'

Clark looked over at a few of the monsters that were still lingering outside of the walls of City Z from the last attack. He selected the three girls as a small screen appeared in front of him, and clicked on where he wanted the girls to run…

They started running there as he walked up to the ramparts past a few soldiers who were holding bows and arrows prepared at their sides…

They were told not to kill these creatures because leader Clark was going to do some tests with his new characters…

At the moment, the watched on with curiosity as Clark sent the three girls to the strange black wolves that were ambling by the gates. They surrounded it as he looked on, and took a brief moment to pause and let the wolf attack…

He sent Grey up to it to test the Meteor steps, which was a dodging skill and also the skill Parry… She was supposed to be his tank in the future, and he wanted to make sure she could do her job.

A moment later, the wolf charged at her, and its claws began to glow as Grey gulped in fear… However, because she had been hacked, she couldn't move from the spot that Clark had selected…

'This is cruel, but I need to make sure they will get the job done…' Clark opened a box next to her name and checked off Meteor steps and Parry under the skills she was allowed to use.

He almost forgot he had to select before hand the skills they were allowed to use. Luckily, he did it as the wolf sent out three massive swipes at Grey.

She stepped back three times to dodge, bobbing her head away from the attacks as Clark studied her abilities.

'Hmm… she probably can't take more than two attacks form that wolf…' Clark nodded his head as the wolf slashed out with dozens of attacks.

In response, however, Grey kept sliding back her feet and using the meteor steps to dodge. She dodged a slash that past by her blue hair before she put her hand to her side and punched at its gut.

He had forgotten to take off auto attack, and sighed as the wolf lost 3 health.

The way health worked was that every creature always had a 100 health no matter how high of a level they were… 3 damage was actually pretty good considering her attack was low… That meant she probably got a critical attack…

He sighed and took off the meteor steps and left her with just parry…

This time, she blocked with her wrist before blood shot out of her pale skin, sending her crashing back into the dirt as his other two girls charged…

"Sir… Are you killing the girls you worked so hard to get?"

"No… Just giving them a test run… Sorry if this seems cruel…" Clark said to a nearby soldier as he laughed and patted him on the back…

"What is cruel is not being allowed to talk to you unless talked to first… Sorry that I broke the rules…" Gregory, the soldier laughed as he put his hand behind his head… 'Anyways, can't wait to see them in action in the next raid…"

"The plague is merciless… Hopefully, they can be superstars!"

Clark really saw something special in the meteor steps… Where did Grey learn that technique from? It looked like a high level mana technique, or a technique that took a ton of time to learn!

He reactivated the meteor steps as the two other girls slashed into the back of the wolf, causing blood to burst out of its body as lacerations began to appear…

It couldn't stand all the damage and toppled over…

He stopped thinking about it as he looked up at the timer… 5 more hours until the next portals were activated… He turned and looked at the clock tower before he looked back down at the dozens of beasts still mindlessly walking in the grass field…

He wanted to go see the blacksmith and the apothecary before the battle started to see if the pharmacist could give him something for the items he'd earned…

'Eh… I'll go after these girls finish cleaning up the rest of the wolves… Then I can treat them to some ice cream… Shit, I'm a softie underneath this hard exterior!'

'Even after dying twenty nine times! Ke Ke Ke!'

Clark turned over to the three guards and tried to look serious as they asked him some advice on how long City Z would last…

"It will last for between 3 weeks to 5 years… Make sure you have all the fun you can before it's over…"

"Is… is it true that you remember the last 29 attacks?" One of the guards said, nervously trembling as he looked over at the three girls wiping out more and more of the remaining wolves…

"Yup, however, don't worry… I have a good feeling about this time…" Clark held up his thumb as the girls kept fighting the wolves… "A really, really good feeling about this time…"

"Thank you sir!"

Clark left and called the three girls back before he walked to the ice cream shop and deactivated his control over the girls…

Hopefully, they wouldn't kill him on their first date.
