Two Lovers
Everett opened the door of his apartment, and just stared blankly at the room that caused it all.

Everett staggered as he said his goodbye to his friends and closed the door after them.
Just some while ago, they had all gathered at his place to drink. The whole place was a mess and Everett was too wasted to clean up.
Slumping against his bed, he took his phone and dialed his emergency number. As soon as the person picked the call, he ended it, as if he made a mistake.
He went through his contacts and called someone else. The person didn't pick, so he switched off his phone and remained that way.
He could not tell how many minutes had passed by, all he knew was that he heard someone's footsteps. He looked up to see the person's face, but his vision was blurry.
"You are so wasted"
He heard the person say.
A feeling of contentment rushed through his body. Even though he could not see the face, he could recognize the voice.
"You should learn to sleep on the bed, you might catch a cold if you sleep on the floor."
He chuckled softly when he heard the person say that. The person assisted him to lie on the bed and cleaned up the room.
"Babe" Everett called out to the person.
The person sat on the bed and planted a kiss on Everett's forehead.
"That won't do Riley, I want a kiss on my lips." Everett said with pouted lips.
Riley laughed gently and pinched Everett's nose bridge.
"Sit up then, and I would give you a kiss on the lips."
Hearing this, Everett sat up, but could not sit straight, he was too tired for that. He patted his legs, urging Riley to sit on them. Riley sat and place a gentle kiss on his lips. The pout on Everett's face returned. He wanted more than that. He pulled Riley in for a deeper kiss.
While they were in their own world, kissing and caressing each other, the door got opened from the outside.
Everett's fingers were done unbuttoning Riley's shirt and were traveling down his chest when he heard someone curse.
"What the f**k is going on here?"
Hearing this voice, Everett's mind got cleared for a minute and he pushed Riley off him. He stood up, but still staggered, he rubbed his forehead. He looked in the direction of the voice and saw three girls standing there, all looking pissed off. Although he could not recognize the two girls standing by the sides, he could very well tell that the one in the middle was his girlfriend.
He looked confused, he didn't know what to do. It never was his plan to have his two lovers meet themselves, and even if they were to meet, he never imagined such a scenerio.
Olivia seeing him looking confused as he looked at her and the boy on the bed,also looked closely at the boy and she could see why Everett was looking confused at the moment. She found it hard to believe that the person on the bed was a boy. He could easily pass off as a girl with that body of his, and she was so sure of it that if he did stand next to her, they both should be of the same height. Everett must have mistaken the boy as her. She made up her mind without asking questions. It was very obvious he seduced a drunk Everett. She walked towards him with an angry and disgusted look on her face and sent a hot slap on his face.
"How dare you seduce my boyfriend."

Riley sat up on the hospital bed. His mind a mess and body in pain. All that happened the night before he could not explain, all he knew was that the girl who slapped him had asked the other two girls to beat him up, while she dragged Everett out of the room.
Hearing the door open, he thought it was a nurse, but his eyes soon widen in shock.
"Why are you here?"
He was angry and he really did have the right to be. Those girls didn't give him a chance to explain himself. Infact, he was sure that if he did explain himself, he would only suffer more.
"Please, give me a chance to explain." Everett said as he held Riley's delicate fingers in his.
"Go on, cause I would like to know why you are dating me when you do have a girlfriend."
Everett sat on the chair by the bedside and took a deep sigh.
"Actually, I broke up with her a month ago, but she refuses to break up with me."
Riley removed his fingers from Everetts'. Did Everett seriously take him for a fool, did he think he would just believe him so easily.
"Everett." he said but refused to look at him.
"Yes."
"I've known you personally for five months, how come I never saw her with you even once?".
The look on his face screamed 'I'm not a fool, you are clearly cheating on me, it's obvious you two just started dating.'
"Believe me sweetheart."
"Don't call me that, I do have a name." Riley was pissed off, did Everett seriously think he would fall for such sweet names.
"Trust me Riley, she asked me to keep our relationship a secret, so I also had to break up with her in secret, but she is refusing to breakup with me. Believe me Riley, you are the one I love, no one else."
Riley seemed a lot calmer after Everett explained, and he went back to being cute, doing his possible best not to complain about how badly his body hurt him.
" So what are you gonna do next? "he asked as he brushed Everett's hair with his fingers
Everett held Riley's hand again
" Please, can I ask you to wait for me to end things with her completely?"
Riley forced a smile and nodded his agreement.
" It's not like there's any other solution. Fine I'll be waiting for you."
Everett smiled and placed a kiss on the back of Riley's palm.
" I love you Riley."
"I love you too."

Everett flinged his bag away and sat on the bed.
"I should have just ended the relationship between Riley and I back then. If only I had done that, I would not be in such a crazy situation."
