Clara Barton is an M City beauty model like Ava but more popular than her in Country V, she is feared and respected because of the Barton family that she got married into but she has been out of the Limelight for a while and moved together with her family to T City.
She decided to come back to M City and start her own model world, she's also a beauty personified like Ava. Jenny who have heard of the name found it unbelievable, how could these woman here be Clara Barton even though Jenny has not seen her pictures before because she was too focused on Ava Stone life and looking for a way to tarnish her image.
That is why even when Clara Barton did her wedding and her family was invited she never bothered to go, what made her to doubt was the casual attire of the woman who just presented herself as Clara Barton.
“ wait are you expecting me to buy that,even though I have not seen Clara Barton before I know she can never dress like this" Jenny spoke
“ wow your really an embarrassment to the Cloud family, I never knew they would raise an insolent person like you, so I have to dress like a model first before you will believe me" Clara responded
Lucas who has been trying to get Jenny's attention when he recognized the woman even without her giving a formal introduction, he tried stopping her but he failed.
Lucas could not feel any less ashamed for what his girlfriend has done he kept mute waiting to see what Jenny will do.
The manager, receptionist and the other male worker could only look at Jenny and felt pity for her ignorance.
Ava who has been watching the entire scene decided to stand up and remind everyone of her presence, she walked towards Clara Barton and said, “ Good afternoon ma, am Ava Stone a big fan of yours, your even my role model”
“ wow your Ava Stone, it's such a privilege to meet you I have heard a lot about you, your model activities are awesome you're really amazing” Clara responded
Jenny and Lucas just kept mute looking at the wonderful discussion going between them, Jenny felt annoyed, jealous at ava but later became ashamed as she has came to realize that she's really Clara Barton.
Lucas immediately went towards Clara Barton to apologize “ Am sorry Mrs Clara Barton on behalf of my girlfriend I truly apologize ” Lucas spoke
Clara looked at Lucas and said “ so your Lucas Wave I have heard about you, I Wonder why a man will live a gem for a trash"
Jenny opened her mouth to say something but Lucas gave her a signal to say nothing, everyone around tried holding themselves not laugh when Clara called Jenny a trash.
“ I don't understand what you mean ma but sometimes it's better to go for the trash and turn it into a germ than staying with a worthless germ” Lucas replied while looking at Ava
Ava dropped her face on the ground avoiding eye contacts with Jenny and Lucas, Jenny looked at Ava smiling. Clara understood what was happening, she only gave a short reply “ well I want you to know that there are some trash that can never be turned to germ”
Lucas held Jenny hand and they both looked at Ava expecting her to cry. Ava felt like crying but she had to hold herself because she could not afford to disgrace herself in public.
Clara spoke to Ava“ i can tell that you still love him but he is not worth your tears forget about him and move on, your still young you will find some one better"
“ ok, i would like to take my leave" Ava responded
“ please package this two clothes for me I will pay for them" Ava instructed the receptionist.
“ Don't worry I will pay for them, let it be my treat for meeting another M City model who is my follower, your beautiful my dear” Clara spoke to the receptionist and Ava.
Lucas and Jenny were surprised even Ava, Ava immediately tried to reject the offer “ Don't worry ma you have already done enough by defending me”,
“ what, come on dear your a natural and I love you for that" Clara replied
Ava looked at Lucas and Jenny and saw the Jealousy on their faces, they both held there hands and walked out of the plaza to their car.
Ava collected the clothes and gave Clara her phone number as she demanded for it.
She thanked her and left the plaza, when she got to her car she noticed that Jenny and Lucas car was still parked there.
“ why did you not try to stop me from insulting her, by the way how did you know who she really is" Jenny asked Lucas
“ Have you forgotten that I dated a model, Ava always gave me a hint on every model inside and outside M City and Clara Barton happens to be one of her role model. I tried stopping you but your attention was not on me" Lucas replied
Jenny kept quiet and nervous, Lucas noticed her state and tried to cheer her up, “ come on baby, don't mind what Clara said she was only trying to defend Ava, your still better than her" Lucas said
Jenny's face lighted up a little bit but her mood changed when she received a message on her phone saying “ Am a Natural, I proved it to you ones more I will still show you more".
Jenny cursed within herself, Lucas read the message and knew that it was from Ava, He started the engine and drove out of the parking lodge.
Ava also drove out after, she has proven that's she's a natural by getting a favor from Clara Barton without having to use sweet words on her even Clara Barton attested that she's a natural.
Ava got home and had her shower then went to join her family for dinner, after dinner she decides to check on her old stuffs from high school, as she looks at all the medals and gifts she won and got during those days, smiles filled her face.
Her mood changed when she saw her pictures with Lucas, from there elementary to high school then to the university, she recounts those wonderful moments they spent as lovers must times they stayed together under the moon light.
Ava cried as she speaks to herself “ Lucas I wish you will come back, I can't deny the fact that whenever I see you with her I get extreme jealous"
Ava Laid down on the floor and falls at sleep, she wakes up and sees herself in a different land with Lucas laughing and eating as couples,she was about to kiss Lucas when Jenny appeared and shouted at her “ stay away from him, his not yours but mine".
Ava tried holding Luca's hands but he rejected her and took the hands of Jenny and they walked out together, Lucas turned to Ava and said “ she's right am her's not yours anymore” Ava cried and called Lucas name so many times but she got no reply.
She screamed his name and woke up only to realize that it was all a dream, her phone rang she picked it up and looked at the screen the caller was her model agent Mr Andrew but he preferred to be called Mr A.
“ Hi Mr A" Ava answered the call
“ Hello my beautiful damsel How are you?”Mr A asked
“ Am good A, what of you how are you” Ava replied
“ Am so good" Mr A replied
“ Ok, so why did you late at night” Ava asked
“ guess who just called for you to be there model” Mr A responded
“ Who, come on Mr A, you know am not good at guessing” Ava replied
“ ok, get ready for it, Mrs Clara Barton called and asked for you to model for there upcoming fashion show next week" Mr A replied
Ava was shocked and she responded “ What that's impossible I met her today at the shopping mall but she never mentioned a fashion show to me"
“ yes she told me she met you and you impressed her and she also loves your charisma that's why she decided for you to be there fashion model" Mr Replied
“ ok does she have a fashion house in m City" Ava asked
“ yes she does, Unlimited Fashion house models belongs to her” Mr A replied
“ ok ” Ava responded
“ It seems you have not been keeping your self updated recently and I know why, am sorry about what happened between you and Lucas, am sorry I was not there to comfort you” Mr A pleaded
“ It's okay, no need to ask for forgiveness, let's leave that aside so how are we going on with the contract” Ava asked
“ I have made plans we just need to talk tomorrow then we go see Mrs Clara Barton for a brief meeting, there she will give us the details” Mr A responded
“ ok, let's hit it. I have missed the Limelight for a while" Ava replied
“ yes baby girl, it's time to keep your game on,I never made a wrong choice choosing you, your a natural and will always be. ok we will speak tomorrow, see you by 9:00Am. Bye bye good night sweet dreams" Mr A replied
“ ok good night" Ava responded and as she hung up the call, she remembered Mr A words “ I never made the wrong choice choosing you”.
Ava then remembered when Andrew fought for her to have a limelight in the fashion world, it was hard for her as her dad never showed any support for her passion he only wanted her to join the family business like her brother.
If her dad had given his support, Andrew wouldn't have gone through too much stress but her brother secretly gave his support that was what helped her and when she made it to a high level her dad had no other option than to support on one condition that she will join the family business.
Ava stood up and went to her room to sleep ahead for her meeting with Andrew and Clara Barton tomorrow she yawned and said with a sleepy eyes “ Am a Natural, your no match for Me Jenny cloud" and she slept off.
Jenny woke up the next day, she looked at the time and discovered it 7:39Am , “ I overslept" she said and walked outside her room.
“ Hey Jenny good morning” Sky greeted
Jenny turned and saw sky walking towards her “ How long have you been here” Jenny asked
“ up to an hour" Sky replied
“ I didn't want to disturb you when the maids told me you were at sleep" she added
“ ok" Jenny responded and took a sit
“ what's up Jenny have you forgotten we are going to the Spa and the beach today" Sky asked
Jenny nodded her head, sky kept mute as she picked her phone and scrolled through the internet looking for any lastest gossip or news.
Jenny stood up and went to take her bath, as she came out of her bedroom she saw sky running towards her. she wondered what was wrong.
“ oh my God , Jenny look at the lastest on the internet" Sky showed Jenn her phone.
The update read “ Ava Stone gets a model contract with Unlimited Fashion house owned by Clara Barton"
Jenny was shocked “ That's impossible"
“ They just met yesterday how did it happen" she added
“ you mean you met both of them yesterday" Sky asked
Jenny explained everything that happened yesterday to Sky.
“ wow, but what did she mean by she's a natural" sky asked
“ I don't know and I don't care to know, but I will take that contract from her and give it to someone else" Jenny responded
“ And who are you going to give it to" Sky asked
“ I don't know, just search for any competent Model inside and outside M City for me" Jenny replied
“ ok I will" Sky responded
“ As for Ava Stone that contract is mine!" Jenny spoke and left Sky to herself and went inside to speak with her father.
