ch 50- Mistakes 2

Rabon Fooz's POV-

I entered the Head's room with a little bit of anxiety. I was a bit shook by what had happened in the car. I wanted to ask him about the driver but firstly I had to listen to why he called me so urgently.

"You came quick. Looks like the salary is good enough to make you come here at full speed. Anyways, take a seat." He said sarcastically.

I sat down and waited for his orders. But funnily enough, he started reading the documents in his hand. I was a bit confused as, to why he called me if he was

busy right now. A few minutes passed and he closed the file and handed it to me.

"What's this sir? " I asked confused.

"Read it and you will know. " He said getting comfy in his chair.

I opened the document and started reading it. The more I read the more concerned I became. It was hard to believe what was written in the document.

"Do you get it now? " He asked me.

"No," I replied. He turned his gaze towards me and looked like he was disappointed.

"With all due respect Sir, what is the meaning of this? " I said slamming the file on the table. The contents of it coming out of the file. Three names could be seen written on them. Bala, Kiara, and Mirik. All their information from where they lived to what we're their powers all written on it.

"What did you not understand? " He asked seriously.

"What do you want me to do with this? " I replied.

"Stop them before they get killed. Simple." He said with a poker face.

"They want to go against the 3rd branch. It is like inviting death upon themselves. All I can do is stop them before they get killed. But I can't directly interfere so you will be the one to stop them. Defeat them in the tournament before they face off against Arsh. " He said.

"And how will I do this Sir, I don't know how to fight, and even if I knew I have not participated in the tournament. " I replied almost angrily.

"Don't worry we secretly filled the form for you. " He said with an evil smile. I was shocked to hear I was in the tournament but even then it would not make a difference as I couldn't fight.

"Also you will learn to fight. Here take this. " He threw a book in my hands. An old book with a scythe-like design engraved on the cover. I tried opening the book but it didn't work.

"Go home and try it. This book was left by Garz for you. You can say that this is the most precious gift he has ever given you. I would not disclose any more things to you but using this you will be able to fight without fighting if it makes sense. " He said as he waved at me indicating me to go out.
