7 Interlude: An Evil Organization Leader's Log
Entry 0: Shadow Rifts and Preface
Shadow Rifts are areas where The Darkness spawns and Nobles congregate. I am highly fascinated by the Nobles that I have decided to research them for the foreseeable future. I will be first documenting the known Shadow Rifts to construct research bases to try and create the strongest Noble, a chosen one if you will.
Entry 2: Information Dig
From a willing Noble in Shikiyama City, I am able to dig up a large amount of information pertaining Nobles. I have compiled them on a separate document. They are far too trusting LOL
Entry 9: Clockwork City
In the eyes of the public, Clockwork City is the largest known independent state with minimal Super presence. It spans about 1,200 square kilometers with a majority of its area covered in large buildings with suburbs surrounding the city area. This is a pretty boring city if not for the Shadow Rift.
Entry 154: Noble Candidate Divination
Using our resident fortune teller's Chosen One Divination adapted into a electronic format, I am able to find 36 possible candidates with 23 of them on known Shadow Rifts. One of them has the person that Prototype Artificial Guardian 001 is seeking out. It is very eager to escape and soon it will have its "freedom" as I planned.
Entry 156: PAG1 Activity Log, "escape"
Prototype Artificial Guardian 001 has successfully escaped based on the "openings" shown by my "defective" homonculi guards. It is currently being observed by a Magitech-enhanced stealth drone which its unable to detect. Hah, what a simple-minded idiot!
Entry 159: PAG Activity Log, post-"escape"
Prototype Artificial Guardian 001 is currently moving towards Clockwork City's District 8. It displays higher intelligence than anticipated as it actually shipped itself towards a destination where it is instinctively drawn to. The Artificial Guardian's shipping address seems to be one of the ip addresses from our divination. EZPZ LEMN SQZY!
Entry 161: Prime Candidate Information
Rain Adams is a shy teen with a large self-confidence issue, according to his teachers on his school. He lives with his mother, Stacie Adams who works in the District 4 hospital. Stacie's ex-husband Bob Bobbert frequently encounters Rain out of school in which Rain displays highly aggressive response, possibly due to his divorce with Stacie.
Rain however, is very active in the web. He primarily engages in taunting other people in forums and social media but his statements are rather mild compared to the rest of the modern trolls, horribly lacking in malicious intent. That's not how you troll online, dammit!
Entry 162: PAG Activity Log, Contact
After the box enters close on the Candidate's Area, the drone is unable to track it. I hypothesize that Stacie or a neighbor must have turned the entire area into their Palace. Fortunately, the Magitech vital tracker still transmits data.
Upon first contact, The Artificial Guardian has received light damage to its Inner Light body from cuts, followed up by severe burn damage. The Candidate's recent search history suggests that he has been reading "Man-Eating Ghouls in Boxes" to explain his recent action.
The Artificial Guardian is somehow able to Title the Candidate as a Noble but Rain's Mysticlad state is different to ordinary Nobles in a way that the Artificial Guardian's soul merges with his. Looks like I would need Soul Stitcher's collaboration on this project once more.
Entry 163: PAG Activity Log, Combat
Not long after the first Mysticlad, Rain engages with a Level 2 Daemon and wins the confrontation by a large margin. His mental state seems to be severely shaken from the encounter.
Entry 169: We are moving
I'm moving to the Clockwork City base so I won't be writing any logs for about 3 days. Great thing, Soul Stitcher has suddenly got interested again in my little Chosen One.
