Chapter Two- The Red Head

ALBERT WESKER'S POV

I held my stance only to harden my stare when I came upon a woman as opposed to a mutant. I felt slightly irritated because with this truth there was only one confession; my plan was spoiled. The girl was casually dressed in a a dark jeans, black under blouse and a red jacket. My gaze fell to her gloves and there was no question; she got here on a motorcycle.

I lowered my gun somewhat because the girl was human and there was no visible wound on her body. She smelled human and looked human and my actions of defense seemed to scare her somewhat. Her lips her slightly part as her cleavage moved to indicate breathing. I raised my gun when the real threat came into view, the red haired girl staring at me in horror.

"Move!" I yelled as I gestured with my head and she took a few extra seconds to register. She lowered and I sounded the bullet, two corpse falling and she turned to look at the corpse in horror. I went towards her, my gun being returned to my holster. She gazed up at me the moment I reached a hand towards her but hesitated in no way. Her grip was firm and when I pulled her to her feet she eyed my attire.

Currently I was dressed in black from head to toe, my combat shoes being absorbed by her blue eyes. It was clear that the girl was making her very own summary of who I was. I continued to observe my surroundings, my index finger moving my shades upwards.

There were more coming. I could smell the odour of rotting flesh and blood so the gun was removed once again, the female taking her place behind me. I glanced at her slightly, the first zombie receiving a bullet between the eyes.

"What the hell is going on in this town?" she asked and I decided to play a game until I understood her purpose for being here. I fired a few shots, my arm indicating that she stayed behind me. I kept my gaze ahead as I selected my words carefully.

"I wish I could somehow help you understand this dear heart but I fail to capture the truth behind all this" I told her as my eyes fell on the car in the distance.

"Head for the police car" I told her and she followed my small command, the female taking the passenger side of the car while I took the drivers side. The appropriate gear was selected while the woman looked around, the car making a huge spin and a few bones were broken. I ran over a few zombies as well, the girl turning to look at me.

Her breathing was quite heavy and when she spoke her voice shook.

"I just don't understand what is going on" she continued and I kept my eyes fixes on the road. by this time it was raining and a few places were on fire and many vehicles had no owner.

"We need to get to the police station, that is the only place I assume we will find our answers" I told her but my reasons for visiting the station went fat beyond that. I had all the answers I need, there was only one thing I needed to capture.

"Wait you're a cop?" she asked as she leaned forward in her seat. That was not a healthy position because with the hell present in this town I may have to use the break pedal more often. I glanced at the woman seated next to me.

"No dear heart, just like you I am here by accident. I am Albert Wesker, who are you my dear?" I greeted and she relaxed somewhat. I could tell that she was a bit disappointed because in her eyes my attire mislead her.

"Claire. Claire Redfield" she informed me and the blood within my body boiled. She was a Redfield, just like the man who had spioled my plan, the man who would continue to place his nose where it did not belong.

"Do you live in this town Miss Redfield?" I asked her in the calmest voice I could generate.

"No. I came looking for my brother. He's a cop" she told me as she turned to look at me. Her gaze prevent me from crushing the steering wheel. My assumption was true, she is related to Christopher and just like her brother she was quite simple.

We drove in silence, people being advised through loud speakers to take covers indoors. The police station was now announced as the place of shelter but by the look of this town at least Night Five percent of the population were infected with the virus. Claire decided it was time to speak but it was more of a mental complaint spoken out subconsciously.

"This is so unreal" she mumbled as she leaned back and stared through her window.

"We will get to the station soon Miss Redfield" that was the best comfort I could give. She was the sister of an enemy so there was no reason to offer a hug and a kiss to the forehead.

"What if we are the only to people left in this town?"she asked and I cringed at the thought. Surviving with a Redfield would be a horror film within its self. I turned to look at the woman.

"That assumption seems quite inaccurate" I told her but it was truly a way to comfort myself. I was trapped with Redfield's sister and now her expectations of me was quite high. I smiled a little mentally, she was the perfect pawn in this game.

I slowed the car's pace the moment I came upon a blocked road. I touched my shades, my eyes fixed on what was before us.

"Our journey has a slight intermission, we will have to walk my dear" I told her as I looked around. These were familar streets and the police station was only a few blocks away.

"More like running" Claire Stated and I turned to look at what shewas staring at. Two zombies were having their meal on a wet pavement. The car shook when at least six zobies came down at us, my attempts at reversing failing drastically.

"They are far too heavy" I told her as the wheel of the car spun in a useless fashion. Claire kept looking around, my foot pressuring the gas pedal.

"What the-" the moment Claire said that I turned to look at what pulled her attention. A truck was heading in our direction and the fact that it kept coming meant that the driver was infected.

"We have to get out" I told her and she sat their frozen for a while.

"Miss Redfield move!" I yelled and that's what had her going, her shoulder being slammed to the door. I did the same thing with a bit more force, that light of the truck shining into the car. I tightened my teeth, I did not return here to succumb to the mess Umbrella created.

"I can't get out!" Claire exclaimed and I flexed my fingers but before I could touch the gas pedal the truck slammed into the back of the car. Claire and I jerked forward, my exit being made and when I could smell gasoline I looked around. The car I was once driving caught fire and my eyes widen as moved faster. The explosion sounded and that explosion sent my body into another car.

The car split and my body went right through it, my shades falling to the floor in order to expose my amber eyes. I retrieved my shades quickly as I stood as I listened, I had one small check to make.
