Chapter 10: A new acquaintance

When I was heading to the bar, I feel a cold hand grabbing my wrist. Surprised, I turned around and it was this wheat blond hair guys

"Hello Sweetheart !", he said with a smirk on his face.

"Don't call me like that ever again, I hate nicknames and let go of me", I replied coldly and trying to free my wrist. But he squeezed it strong enough that I can't free myself from it but still soft enough that it didn't hurt me.

"Wow ! Calm down princess !", he replied still holding my wrist.

" What do you want ?", I replied still coldly, I don't feel this guy. Well, yeah, he is handsome but I don't know I just have a weird feeling in his presence. It's not the same feeling that I feel in Eric's presence.

"Just one drink", he replied calmly still holding my wrist.

"Excuse-me ?", I asked .

"I just want to have one drink with you princess", he said and then let go of my wrist.

"I don't drink a guy that I barely met and that I even know the name", I replied.

"My name Xavier Colin. So that you know my name would you like to have a drink with me now princess ?", he replied.

"Just one drink that's all", I responded.

Then we headed to the bar where everyone was queueing but when the bartender saw us he immediately took our order.

"So what do you want to drink ?", Xavier said.

Uh…Uhmm", I replied.

"Why not a bloody Mary ?", he said.

"That would be perfect ", I said.

"She'll take a bloody Mary with extra blood and pure blood for me", he said to the bartender.

"So, what does a person of your rank doing in a nightclub and it seems to be your first time", He asked curiously.

"It's none of your business and what makes you think that' it's my first time here ?", I said and I don't know why but for some damn reason I don't want to tell him that I'm here on date.

"Well, if you had ever been here before believe me I will remember it I could never have forgotten a beauty like you. Moreover, I hang out here often so I know pretty much everyone who comes in and leaves this nightclub", he replied.

"You know it's not safe for you to hang up here all alone like that especially that you are a princess. Some dangerous people who are not very fond of your father could hurt you", Xavier said.

"I'm not alone, I'm here with friends and I can perfectly protect myself", I replied to him a little angry. Who does he think he is ?

"With friends huh ? ", Xavier replied.

"Yeah", I said.

But then one of the guys in an all black suit came over to us and whispered something in Xavier's ear.

"I'm sorry princess but I have to make short our little talk but I hope to see you soon and maybe around a table", he replied flirtily.

"Oh no ! Not even in your wildest dreams", I replied rolling my eyes.

"Believe me you don't want to know what happens in my wildest dreams. In there, we do something other than eating around this table", he replied while winking an eyes.

I didn't understand it for the moment but then I knew where he meant by that and yet this idea does not displease me that much. What is wrong with me ? I'm here on a date with Eric, stop thinking about something else.

Meanwhile, earlier that day

"George, please you need to talk to her", Queen Mirabella said.

"A werewolf ? She could choose someone else apart from Richard but did it have to be a werewolf ? She humiliated our family, our kingdom in front of all the guests; the most powerful King and Queen of all the Vampire Kingdom were there Mirabella. Now, they all believe that we are weak. Her marriage to Richard was to restore the blazon of our family, of our kingdom but instead she tarnished it even more", King George replied.

"My apologies, your majesty but a letter from Ice Forest has arrived for you and it said that it is urgent", said a servant.

"Very well. They responded quickly", said King George.

"From Ice Forest ? George what have you done ? Why would Ice forest send you a letter ?", Queen Mirabella said worriedly.

"Mirabella, you don't have to worry, it's just a simple courtesy letter", King George said while kissing Queen Mirabella on her forehead.

George hide something to me, I know perfectly that Ice Forest don't send just a courtesy letter.

Meanwhile in Richard's and his father quarter

"You only had one thing to do Richard, a very simple and very easy thing. But you weren't even able to do it right. You disappointed me so much like your mother. And you know what happens to people who disappoint me, don't you? ", Paul, Richard's father said angrily with a raised tone.

"Yes, father and I will accept the punishment you deem appropriate for my incapacity", Richard replied kneeling in front of his father looking down.

"Get up and wait for me in the basement", Paul said to him and Richard was leading in the basement.

"Jack ! Tie him up, starve him and get my gear ready. I'll be there soon", Paul said to his most loyal henchman.

Back in the nightclub now

"Lola, I need to talk to you now", Eric said.

"Don't you see that I'm a little busy now", she replied while kissing some random guy.

"I said NOW Lola !!", Eric said with a raised tone.

"Fine", she said rolling her eyes "I'll be right back Cameron", she said to the random guy.

"Uh, actually my name is Kyle", the random guy replied.

"Yeah, yeah. If you want", Lola replied to him and then Eric and her leaded to the toilet.

"Why are we going to the toilet ?", Lola asked surprised.

"Actually I need your help, I tried to kiss Vanessa and it failed so I said to her that I'm going to the restroom. What should I do now ? It'll be very awkward between us now", Eric said very nervous.

"Wait ! What ? Why would you do that ? You can't kiss her like that and in nightclub furthermore", Lola replied.

"Yeah, I know", Eric said.

"So did you two kissed each other ?", Lola asked curiously.

"No, my eyes were already closed and I was ready to kiss her but she didn't want to", Eric said a deepbreath.

"Ok, it's not as bad as I thought. Maybe you should take her back home and then you can try one more time", Lola replied.

"Try one more time ? Nope, never. I'll never try again. But you are right I should take her home",Eric said.

"Hey ! You mustn't be afraid to try again, ok ? Maybe it was too early for her but next time I'm sure she will accept it", Lola replied
