Let's get married

Back to the present~

Silas glanced at the delicate woman that stood in front of him. Her face turned away from him. Curves were hidden beneath the baggy shirt she was wearing. Silas scanned her from top to bottom but his pupils stopped moving further once his eyes landed on the ending of the shirt.

Her soft delicate milky thighs were left revealed. Silas's mouth turned dry just by looking at her. How can she be so alluring? The more time passed the more he was losing control. Who thought it would be so hard to win her?

He sighed and got up from his seat, and walked closer to her. His huge hand was on both sides of her, trapping her in the middle.

Crystal could feel his body being pressed onto her. Her heart was shaken, but she kept her strong facade on, still in her place like a statue.

Crystal gulped hard, forbidding her gaze to meet his. She had known him well enough to know how dangerous he was.

The cruel way he killed her friends and who knows how many more. The guilt would never wash down her mind, that it was all because of her.

No one hates herself more than her, she was the reason why they died that night. If she had agreed to be his canary, would they have happily ever after?

Her thoughts stopped going off track when she felt something heavy and warm on her shoulder. Through her peripheral vision, she looked at him, resting his head on her shoulder.

All those years of hatred came gushing over to her. Clenching her fist tight, Crystal looks at him resting so peacefully after killing hundreds of people.

Crystal shook him off from her shoulder and pushed him away mercilessly. Silas was puzzled by that sudden push that he almost lost his balance. In an instinct, he grabbed her wrist pulling her with him.

Before her head could realise what happened, she already laid over his chest, his arms wrapped around her tiny waist. Her heart felt butterflies but it didn't last long.

Silas just wanted to snuggle her like that for another few moments. But as always, she pushed him away.

Can't she feel this moment a little bit? Just a bit? Why is she so eager to push him away? How deep-rooted her hatred for him was?

Silas didn't let go of her this time and decided to pull her closer, hugging her tight to his heart. Her sweet jasmine smell tingled the tip of his nose.

"Let go!" Crystal groaned, struggling to get away. After a few minutes, Silas gave up and finally let her go.

Crystal immediately got up and stood far away from him, folding her arms. Silas looked at her from the ground.

'Arrogant as always' he sighed inwardly.

Instead of getting up he remained laid on the ground, his hands used as a pillow. Eyes fixated on her face.

Crystal felt his glances at her but she ignored them and continued looking in a different direction. She tried to remain calm, but his stares didn't stop.

In the end, Crystal had no choice but to ask, "Will you leave?" She peeked through her long lashes, hoping he wouldn't go berserk again and do something.

"Let's get married." He broke the news out of nowhere.

Her eyes widened in bewilderment, her folded arms instantly dropped. Face turning ghost pale.

Silas's heart ached to see her react to his news like that. Was marrying him such a big taboo for her? He tried to smile, acting like it was nothing.

He got up and started to walk out, "Nevermind-"

"I agree. But just one thing." She announced cutting him off in between his sentences.

Flabbergasted, Silas turned his head to look at her. Her face remained composed. On the contrary, his face was brightened up.

Emerged by his emotions, Silas dashed up to her, and without a hint, he wrapped his arms around her tiny waist. Swirling her around.

"Really?" Silas asked again, his eyes glistening with hope.

"Only if you fulfil my requirement." Crystal said, getting away from him; almost dizzy.

She sat down on the chair, crossing her feet. Silas raised a brow hearing it, "Which is?" He already grasped what she would ask but he still wants to listen to her.

Crystal saw his serious face, knowing if she asks for freedom he will deny it. She already knew that but what if…

"I want us to move away from here into some other place and just the two of us. None of your bodyguards should be there." She put out her requirements.

Silas was a bit suspicious of her demand but it was still something he could fulfil. If she gets married she already becomes his.

And he already has a plan for where they need to be. Looks like she was finally surrendering to her fate.

"Deal. But…" Silas moved close to her chair and leaned closer to her. He took a few of her locks and kissed them before looking right into her eyes,"...I will no longer be patient with touching you."

He stood up straight before her reply and fixed his handcuffs," Think carefully and decide." Silas walked away when her soft hand held his wrist.

Crystal got up from the chair and moved over in front of him, her slender fingers caressing his cheeks.

For the first time in a while, she looked right into his eyes rather than at his lips. Slowly moving her face closer to his, their breath tangled with each other, then her lips brushed touching his and slowly taking over them.

Silas enjoyed her lips moving and biting his seductively but before he could return that favour she drew her lips back.

"I think this counts as yes." She smiled and acted as if nothing happened and fixed his collar.

Silas smiled, he was not in a hurry, he got a lot of chances in future to taste every part of her and he would not hold himself back then.

"Let's get married tomorrow itself," Silas whispered in her ears and placed a kiss on her cheeks before leaving.

Once he left, the smile on her face disappeared, and her eyes turned cold. Folding her arms she walked up to the fish tank placed on the other side. She looked at the golden fish swimming peacefully. Crystal picked up the food that was put beside the tank and poured the food into the tank. Her stares focused on golden fishes, her eyes darker than ever.

"Let's start counting for his death day, shall we?"
