Lian Xinying could have cleared things up immediately, but she didn't.
"When Yan Ye gets here, I'll tell you where the envelope is," Lian Xinying guessed that the officer was probably in cahoots with Yan Ye's mother.
So she had to wait for Yan Ye to come before she could speak.
"Okay." Two police officers sat down across from Lian Xinying.
Without any concerns on her mind, Lian Xinying told the waiter not to delay serving the dishes.
When Yan Ye arrived, he saw Lian Xinying eating nonchalantly, her mouth slick with oil.
The two people sitting opposite her had somewhat cold expressions.
Yan Ye walked over with casual steps, couldn't resist, and poked her forehead with his finger.
Just as Lian Xinying was about to push his hand away with a cry, he had already withdrawn it and looked toward the two police officers.
"If there's something to discuss, talk to me."
Although Yan Ye looked cool, Lian Xinying didn't want to trouble him too much.
