Chapter 15 Beautiful
"To touch you," I stated boldly, daring not to look away. For a second the only look on his face was a blank stare.
"You know th-"
He began to speak but I cut him off.
"-That can never happen. . . I know," I shrugged.
He opened his mouth to speak but was interrupted by the waitress that brought our meal, a different one might I add.
I sent a smile her way which she returned charmingly.
"Enjoy your meal," She bowed slightly and left.
Our meal was consumed in dead silence. Nature had a way of letting me know that his eyes were on me the entire time as I felt his heavy stare but for some reason I kept my eyes locked on my food and only glance up occasionally but never in his direction.
My appetite was lost so half of my food remained on my plate.
"You barely touched your food, why?"
