Sylvan Cheney looked anxiously at Jasmine Yale in his arms, her body was burning hot.
Soon, doctors hurried toward the woods.
"Mr. Cheney, what's the condition of the patient?" the doctor asked nervously.
"High fever, no other issues discovered for now," Sylvan Cheney furrowed his brow.
He didn't know what had happened to her when she was with Yolanda Fern; there were no obvious injuries on her body, but he couldn't assure that Yolanda hadn't done something to her.
Why did Jasmine still have a high fever after waking up, while Yolanda had disappeared?
There were no signs of a struggle or fight in and around the cave, and Jasmine Yale had not given any distress signals.
On his way to find her, he even had some terrible thoughts.
Fortunately, she was safe in the end.
"Mr. Cheney, let me take care of the patient," the doctor reached out his arms.
Sylvan Cheney glanced at him but didn't agree, continuing to carry Jasmine Yale toward the car.
