I was In the beautiful garden the sun was shining bright and all the flowers smelt nice then immediately everywhere turned pitch black and I started running and I fell down when I looked up I was expecting to see the same monster again but I saw someone else.

Mom"I say as I wake up with beads of sweat forming at my forehead ,for the first time I was really scared and the worst part was I was all alone, no Kaden no one, and I started to cry to let out all the frustration from the marriage to the night mares I which it never happened.

I forcefully cried my self to sleep I need to brace myself for this morning and be prepared for anything.

Damiel's POV

I wake up the next morning and John immediately came into my room.

What's wrong,why are you waking me up early in the morning"I say angrily

I'm sorry your highness but the elders are here"he says bowing down

why?"I ask not concerned with their presence they're bunch of old women and men who assist in the kingdom welfare and who think they have a little power

I flutter my eyes open I see two maids in my front as they bow their heads and I'm curiously wondering what they're doing here or if it's normal in this kingdom.

Good morning my Queen"they both say. The king told us that we should help you get ready the elders are asking for your presence"I could feel them tense up I'm sure they aren't used to a new person.

Calm down I'm not going to bite you can be free ,relax"I tell them as they reduce their anxiety

Thank you your highness you're really kind"one of the maid say as she bows

May I know why the elders are requesting for my presence?"I ask as they look at themselves.if it's going to put you into trouble let it be"

Then she's sent back to her parents in shame"Cassandra says as I think about this stupid ritual as I dress up,I was virgin but it was so unfair why does it apply only to women ,I knew I grew up in a place where men dominated and I had a problem with that but I couldn't do anything but when it concerns my life no one was gonna make me feel inferior and I was gonna prove to them all today.

As I go to the living room I see various men and women seated with the king in their front and I could feel the tension ,I was off the hook but that doesn't mean I was still fair in my eyes men and women are equal.

My Queen we came to know if you participated in the Virgin ritual as there is no proof to show it"A women says as she sits down, then it dawned on me they expect me to bring a white bedsheet for proof what crude practices which disgusts me.

Then the king whispered that he would take care of these but I told him otherwise ,like how would he be in approval of these,maybe because he's not affected.

You can't force me to participate in these ritual can you?"I ask as a man stands up and talks.

Stop using this tricks to cover up your shame just tell us you aren't a virgin so we will go to the next phase"the elderly man says

If you want me to do the ritual fine but my husband the king would have to do it with me as it is only fair right?"I ask as I could see everyone stunned faces including the king.
