University Talk (1)

It's been almost two months already since Anna left the hospital and arrived at the Swift mansion where she has been staying.

"Good morning momma and daddy," Anna said when she reached the breakfast table.

"Good morning dear, how was your night?" Mr. Swift asks.

"It was fine thank you, Daddy." She replied as she smiles.

"With no nightmares right baby?" Mrs. Swift said.

"Yeah, momma…with no nightmares." She answers and they all laugh.

"Do you want anything else, Anna?" Aunt Martha asked her when she was done and emptied her plate.

"No! Nothing else Aunt Martha… thank you for asking but am full." Anna answered Aunt Martha when she asked her whether she wants to eat more breakfast.

"Mmhm Anna!" Mr. Swift calls out her name.

She turned to face her dad and answer "Yes Daddy!"

"Your momma and I talked yesterday and we think it's time you enroll in a university already… but if you want to take more time them you can tell us ok? and you can enroll in one later when you are ready if you don't want to now." Mr. Swift said.

"Of course not Daddy, I will enroll in a university now. I don't need any time to think about anything." She excitedly said. She is happy that she is going to a university and she even wanted to talk to them about it, but she was hesitating and thought gh she should let some time pass by a little more as always, they want her to have a great future and as they promised they will make sure she has a great one they are keeping their promise right now and she doesn't feel anything else but pure happiness right now.

"Ok then… how about the University of City School of Science and Technology hmm!" Mr. Swift suggested.

"You don't have to go to that one dear, you can choose the one you want to go okay!" Mrs. Swift added.

She doesn't want Anna to do what she doesn't want to and what if she already has the choice of the university she wants in her mind? Anna might just agree to go to d city's School of Science and Technology even if she doesn't want to go and study there because Mr. Swift suggested it. She wants Anna to know that she can choose any university of her choice and it doesn't have to be in D city itself they will let her go and will make sure that she is safe and well taken care of.

"Yes dear, you don't have to go there just because I say it okay… I was just making a suggestion." Mr. Swift said adding to what his wife said. Even he doesn't want Anna to do what she doesn't like just because he said so.

"Daddy I have decided already if I have to go to a university then it's going to be that one okay," Anna said after listening to them.

"But dear you don't have to go there because I say so…I told you it is just a suggestion." Mr. Swift said after listening to her that he doesn't want her to do what she doesn't want to.

"Yes dear your dad is right beside we still don't know yet whether you want to study science or art, so please know that you don't have to do what you don't want to okay!" Mrs. Swift said and reassures her.

"Look, Dad, first of all, am not going to the university because you suggested it but because I want to and also have two reasons for wanting it as well." Anna realized that since she said she wants to go to City D's University of Science and Technology just like her dad said, they thought she decided on this because he suggested it, and like they said they don't want her to do anything she doesn't want to just because they suggested it.
