William couldn't understand why he had to go through something like this. Even though Drake had warned him about protecting himself and Marion, he still didn't understand that someone was plotting his destruction by using Marion as a tool.
William was now just pacing back and forth thinking about the possibilities of who might have done this.
There were only two people, Jeremiah and Greg, who were most likely to do this. But... Jeremiah couldn't have done it.
Could it be Greg? The one with the most potential to do this evil deed.
William clenched his fists, furious at his own stupidity as well as that of Greg using Marion who didn't even know anything.
It was clear that Greg wanted the position now in his hands, the leadership given to him by Jason, his father, which his late father had made it clear he would give back to Jeremiah if the man asked for it.
