Amukhis got inside the basement, as requested by Magenta. The woman had finished operating on Marion and administered a traditional potion to heal the wounds the girl had suffered.
Amukhis looked at Magenta with a questioning look, but the long-haired woman tried to avoid her elder's gaze and instead threw a look in the other direction.
"Whatever is in your head, I hope you don't realize it. They are good people, and we will never hurt our guests, Magenta."
The woman stared fiercely at Amukhis.
"You're kidding, Amukhis? They have valuable objects and it will make our country more developed and prosperous. When else do we have immortal human kidneys like that girl's, huh?" asked Magenta, with a look and greedy expression that Amukhis could read clearly.
Amukhis drew closer to the genius woman before him, holding a look full of intimidation, which should have made Magenta a little daunted. However, in fact, it is not at all.
