"...ay? Jay?" A gentle slap on his cheeks slowly brought his conscious back. It sounded like someone was desperately trying to wake him up.

"5-- 10 min. Let me sleep." The plumpy pillow was soft on his cheek as he burrowed underneath it. He tried to brush the rough hands away annoyed.

"Jay Ziran?" The voice was husky, manly and unfamiliar to him but he hadn't realized that since he had sleepy head, still not recovered from his hang over.

"EVAN!" He slapped the hands that disturbed him from his sleep, pulled the sheets over his head.

"It's not me Jay." The source came from beside him, where Evan laid asleep just like him and had no mood to get up this early.

"Stop joking! Evan, one more time and I will kick you out!"

"I said it's not me!" He had it enough of this nonsense, stood awake, glared straight into someone's abdomen. The person was standing which is why the abdomen was the first thing he saw when he stood up straight, clearly not happy.

"When did you ever made these babies Evan?" He was caught staring at the abs for solid ten seconds. Damn hot was what he thought first thing in the morning.

"If you are done eye feasting on me like a pervert, I recommend you get up and start dressing up." Ruth handed him his shirt as he stood there shirtless, without pants, only the towel wrapped around his torso. Even Jay dropped his jaw and with wide eyes, immediately snatched the shirt, wore it as soon as possible.

"How dare you undress me!" He accused Ruth thinking it was shameless to strip him and his friend, leaving them with kitty boxers.

"Not me. Blame it on yourself if you have to." Ruth puts his hands up, denied the false accusation, got right back at Jay for always jumping onto conclusion without speculating situation better.

"why you?!" he gritted his teeth, bit his cheeks inside his mouth.

"Am I wrong?" He pressed his luck, "It was you who leaped drunkenly onto my bed, made yours comfortable in my home, and then puked all over my cloth. I had to clean you up and went to get changed.

"Did not."

 "Did to."

"Mr. ravishing here is not wrong Jay. You caused a scene and grumpily roared on him." This time, Evan laid his head on his palm, watched the whole show unravelled in front of him.

"Why are you two getting along so well?"

"Didn't Otto sided with you as well?" I rolled my eyes, got on my feet and pushed him aside but he refused to move any inch. So, he tried to step away and walk to his right but he blocked the way.

"Aren't you done playing games with me, old man? Go and play with your kid."

"For your information, He's not my biological child but I guess he is my child too."

"I've no time for you. Let me through."

"Where? Let me drop you."

Jay couldn't handle to be letting the imprudent man dictate as he wants.

"What do you mean, you creep?" He narrowed his eyes suspicious. What is this lunatic up to now?

"I mean what I said."

"Urgh. Do what you wish. I am out of here."

"Great let me get dressed." Jay had it enough, thought it would be better to sneek away before he comes back.

"The doors are locked if you are thinking you can escape me. Eat brunch and let's head out."

"Who are you to tell me what to do?" He asked harshly.

"I'm your savior. Last night, you almost got violated by some asshole called Dan."

Urgh. I am thankful he saved me but he pisses me off to no end.

"Yeah yeah. I didn't ask you to do me any favour did I?"

"So? Anything more?" Argh!!

"Just take me to Gingrich Street. No. 11."

"Great. Just wait for me to get dressed."

"Whatever."

Jay turned to Evan, who had long been snickering, enjoying the drama. "You two reminds of a Turkish drama who turned lover from enemies."

He snarled. "Don't you dare lumb us together. Or else we are not friends anymore."

"Okay. Geez you didn't have to threaten me. And you should forget about your ex. This guy doesn't seem that rude to me."

"He's such a controlling and demanding person. Definitely the type I should ignore."

"Bro," Evan got serious, "you might not remember but I saw him carry you gently and as frail yesternight. He's serious by the way I see it."

"Stop pulling my leg and let's go."

"Why are you in hurry Jay? Today, you don't even have to be at the station nor at your part time job."

"It is that 'day' of the month." Jay pointed out.

"Ah. Feel free to leave. You're such a devotee."

"Aren't you coming with me?"

"No, not today. I need to step in and thank Ethan for taking over for me in the bar."

"The bartender yesterday?"

"Yeah. Anyways ciao." Evan made an exit from the room.

"But the door's lock."

"I know the password." He grins knowingly.

"Then what are we doing here? Let's go."

"Nope." Evan carried his black Nike shoes in his hand and left Jay in a frenzy, locked the door again.

"EVAN!" He furiously shouted but he laughed all the way to the elevator.

Even while he was throwing tantrum, Ruth gladly thanked Evan in his mind.

"Is it here?" Ruth drives his jeep to the local parking area, where he could see the nuns go into the catholic church.

"Yeah. Now you can leave."

"I'm coming with you." Ruth simply said, earning a soar look from the boy.

"What for?"

"Mm.." He pretended to think for a while as he said, "I'm free?"

"So?"

"So I want to tag along for fun."

"Then don't you dare cause a scene there." 😤 Jay huffed and puffed as the brute followed behind and pulled the wooden door of the church, then walked down the aisle.

There were older people gathered and sitted on bench, they glimmered when they saw their favorite boy come to church like he usually did on twice every month.

"Jay Ziran!" The Granny gave him side kisses on the cheeks, grabbed him to sit beside her with her husband.

"Hola Granny."

It took her a while before she noticed a man standing right behind him. "And who is this alpha? Your boyfriend?!"

"What?!" He exclaimed.  Jay was taken aback that a omega Granny would even assume that. Before he could even clear the misunderstanding, the brute made an entrance, gave her a charming and dashing smile, bowed over as a sign of greeting."

"Hello Madam. My names Ruth. Pleasure to meet you." The brute then kisses her hands.

"Ohoho! Sweetie there's no need to be so formal with me. You're a gentleman. Rare to find these days." The Granny took a liking of the Alpha, already teasing the omega for such a catch.

"No! He's--" Before he could even deny, everybody stands from their seats and starts to sing the hymn.

Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound

That saved a wretch like me

I once was lost, but now am found

Was blind but now I see

Was Grace that taught my heart to fear

And Grace, my fears relieved

How precious did that Grace appear

The hour I first believed

Through many dangers, toils and snares

We have already come

T'was Grace that brought us safe thus far

And Grace will lead us home

And Grace will lead us home

Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound

That saved a wretch like me

I once was lost but now am found

Was blind but now I see

Was blind, but now I see

Ruth already bored by mid hymn that he silently yawned and tear welled up in his eyes.

It was the perfect time that Jay saw that and nudged him by the elbow.

"What are you looking at me like that?" Ruth asked the boy, who was watching him annoyed.

"Nothing." Jay said happily.

"Maybe he really hates me." Ruth thought to himself. All the elders sitted back to their sit while the boy prayed along with his hands joined together and closed his eyes.

After the prayer, Granny gathered her friends and began introducing the alpha to everybody she knows.

"Look mates. Our Jay brought his lover!"

"Granny! That's not it!"

"Silly," she poked fun at the furious omega, "you can't hide the scent mingled together."

It must have been when the omega lied on the alphas sheet. He had it enough of all the teasing and decided to sneak away while the alpha is distracted by all the elders.

"Nope. You're not going anywhere without me." Grabbing the omega by the collar, the alpha pulled him on before he could even squeak.

"Just who do you think you are?!" He had it enough of this. He wasn't going to play the role of a fodder for anyone. Once was enough to make him understand how the world worked. His ex basically ordered him around, slander him harsh words when he denied from going any further than kissing. He deserved respect.

"Chill. I was only going to ask you if you will be ok dealing with your hang over." He simply stated wondering why the omega was insisting on being independent so much. "Here. If you need me, contact me."

As if I ever call you.

"I mean it." Alpha was serious about it after that incident in the bar. He wouldn't want the same thing to repeat.

The omega just brushed it off like it was nothing to go back home for the day.

Ah... I will need to order steaks and enjoy my holiday. Alone. With no creeps lurking around.
