Worry Of A Brother!!
The entire night, Deep barely blinked his eyes! He still couldn't let go of what had happened yesterday night!
'It's about Tara!!' when the person texted ignorant to his question about his identity!
His eyes widened!!
And there was a silence again, no more texts, and this bothered him! Many questions swirling in his head almost beginning to give him a headache!
With no second thought, he dialled to the number which the message came from, obviously in vain! Whoever was playing him, was really getting onto his nerves, and he couldn't just tolerate that after this much, his call was being avoided!!
'Do not try reaching me only because you want to! You will, when I want you to reach me!!'
The last message echoed in his ears as if he could really hear the person! The way that person had warned him of disclosing this issue with any, even his parents, showed that the person did mean it when said this was serious!!
'You didn't take it seriously, did you?'
As he recalled the message, he somehow could feel the person mocking him!
Who was this anonymous person? How did he get to know about his personal number? Why did the person choose him to text this all? What was the person speaking about when he/she said, it's about Tara?!
His hand hit the table infront of him, hardly! Out of frustration and unknown feelings!
From the time he came to office, he just sat down in his seat, thinking about all the things! He was early, but he didn't mind, he needed space actually, yet he came to office so that his father couldn't doubt him!
Father...!
Could he disclose it with his father?! He couldn't with any, neither Tara nor his mother, but his father...?!
He shook his head, that won't be beneficial! According to his assumptions, whomever he was being texted and threatened by, that person knows him very well, as for, his number and details were with that person! So he was very well known by that person and yet, he wondered what did the person was trying to say him?!
Could it be anything related with the attacks? Was the person wanting to give him some clues or....the attack is related to that person?!
Tonnes of thoughts lingered around and suddenly the door opened!
Meera without noticing him came in and when she took notice of him, she gasped almost startled!
"God! You frightened me!!" she exclaimed but Deep didn't respond as if she wasn't even present!
"You are early!!" Meera pointed out as she reached him, he didn't respond again!!
"Deep!!" she called out his name and as if coming out of thoughts, he looked up at her, finally realising her presence!
He thought she said something which he didn't pay attention to, "I'm early for no reason!!" he replied with a shook which she couldn't define!
"Are you okay?!" she questioned concerned!
Deep shook his head again, getting up, "I'll be on leave! I'll rest on you!!" he said with a gentle pat on her shoulder before he left a confused her behind!
"What's suddenly wrong with him?!" she questioned herself!
"Did the woman reject him?!" she wondered, hoping not so!
Meera still remembered the day when Deep and his family were seated together with a damsel whom she found beautiful! Was she the one?!
If yes, she wouldn't reject him as for they seemed happy together that day!
Then what was bothering him?!
While Deep who made his way back to home, surprising his mother, thought if he could reach the cops regarding the issue, but for some odd reason, he didn't think it would help! The person clearly was approaching him with a reason, for what he needed to know! But how?!
Suddenly he became wary of everyone he knew, professional and personal! The feeling that he couldn't trust anyone anymore wrapped him in!
And thinking about Tara, he worried now even more! Was she safe there?
Mailing her about her well beings all of a sudden will make the curious lady suspicious!
While Deep worried about Tara, the specific lady woke up early in the morning as well, just like Deep, and having a peaceful shower, she went ahead to kitchen after getting done with herself!
Snoopy woke up early as well, and they both spent time in the kitchen together while Aryan was still asleep as she guessed!
It was when she was done preparing breakfast that she saw him coming down, with his hand massaging his forehead!
"Are you having a headache again?!" she wondered as he slowly reached her!
"I think so!" Aryan replied as he took a seat! When he noticed she has been busy in kitchen alone and he had woken up too late, he felt oddly guilty!
"I'll get you the medicine!" Tara suggested, yet he didn't say anything and just watched her getting into his room and returning with his headache related medicines! They had breakfast in silence and he took the medicines! He then even watched her doing the dish washing, while he didn't help her this time as well! He could feel something odd within but....he just sat silently!
"It seems like you are suddenly playing MY role!" he said with a slight chuckle as she returned to him, who gave him a questioning look!
"I am here to take care of you!!" he reminded!
Tara laughed waving her hand dismissively!
"How are you feeling now?!" she questioned while caressing Snoopy!
He sighed, "I'm fine!"
She smiled, "I have some work Aryan! Deep sent me few emails two days ago, and I need to check them!"
"I couldn't login to my account strangely!!" she wondered!
"Is everything okay now?!" he asked!
She nodded, "I guess so!!"
"It might be any of the network issue!" He guessed!
Tara nodded thoughtfully before getting up, "I need to go then!"
"What should I do while you are working?!" he tsked!
Tara laughed again which seemed strange to him, she was in a happy and relaxed frame of mind which actually eased his headache!
"Think on how to spend your alone time in the mean time Mr.Waqt Singhania!!" she teased as she headed towards her room!
He watched her until she closed the door of her room, from where he sat down! With no choice, he went to the library, choosing a book, he headed towards the couch present there, to relax!
His leg slipped as he walked, his hands immediately reaching for the table near on request of control! The book in his hand fell down as his headache returned, him seeing few memories again pained him!!
Reaching for the couch, he attempted to sit but slipped again in pain, kneeling on the floor! His hand held his head the entire time!
While Tara checked the mails and sighed in relief that she could use her pc finally! She still didn't understand the reason for the inconvenience she faced and assuming it was all cause of network problem, she shoved off the thought!
When she was done checking the documents Deep mailed, she realised he didn't mail her again! Atleast about her well beings?!
Again going with the assumptions, thinking he was just too busy to even text, she got up! Immediately the sinked mattress raised as she did, while she now wondered how could Snoopy stay this silent the entire time she was working! It didn't disturb her but just sat quietly, staring her with that adoring eyes of his!
My matured puppy!
A smile crept over her as she reached him, crouching down just to lift him up into her embrace as her fingers again found warmth in stroking his hair!
"How much a good boy you are!!" she said, slightly massaging his head with her fingers!
Her feet soon made her make her way out of her room as she was about to head towards Aryan's room! But even before she could, Snoopy shifted uncomfortably in her arms, making her immediately leave him down on the floor, while wondering what's suddenly wrong with him!
She watched him running, making his way into the library, and wondering even more, she followed!
Her eyes widened at the scene she saw now!!
