On A Trip!!

Aryan with an assuring nod, shoke hands with Deep but that made him see a flash of a situation!!

A frown settled on his face as he saw a wallet fell down, near a car! Was it his?!

"Both of you, take care and remember that I am just a call away!" Deep interrupted his track of thoughts!

Aryan smiled and hugged the man surprising him! Seems like both of them intended to surprise him by acts before leaving!

Deep chuckled as the man pushed himself away, and after a moment, they both got in and he sent them off with a smile, waving his hand! As the car seemed to go far and far, a sigh escaped his mouth! He already started missing her!

Tara sighed, "He was sad!!" she said out almost as a whisper! Aryan who was driving looked at her for a brief moment, and she still held the box Deep gifted, it lay on her lap and her fingers resting on it!

Tara kept looking down until with a sigh again looked ahead! "I guess you have to drive long! Count on me when you feel tired!" she said turning to him!

Aryan was silent, did he really need to argue now? "Done!" he said just that and they travelled in silence! They kept looking ahead until she moved her head, resting her cheek back! The vision of him looking ahead and driving was captured by her emerald gaze!

"Why did you choose to become a psychologist instead of a psychiatrist?!" she asked, her voice still stated tiredness!

Aryan was though taken aback by the question, he wondered what made her tired! She was angry the last night before smiling for a brief moment, and then, she collapsed! After waking up, she was of mischief and tricky, before becoming someone else who is feeling something! Later she became cold again and now she is tired!

She herself is a mood!!

And by what he observed, she was lost in thoughts the entire time he rested, and somehow that might be the reason for her tiredness!

But what about the sudden question?!

"Are you pretending to be deaf?" she questioned!

Aryan shook his head, "After completing my course as a doctor, I was to become a psychiatrist but I decided not to!"

"And you became a psychologist! Why?!" she spoke up with that faint tone of hers, which now began to concern him!

"Being a psychiatrist, I mean to treat people, their illness, which seemed insignificant for me! I don't state it less, but, I just wanted to be close to people, I wanted my ability to help others, and by being a psychologist, I can speak instead diagnose, I assure instead treating, I try to understand instead prescribing!!"

Tara nodded! She didn't know he did it to stay close to people, as he said, she did believe, he might have pushed everyone away, it wasn't his fault, the situation he was in was the reason! So he choose to become a psychologist just to let his ability help others?! It was okay to think that way before knowing the truth, but he seemed to still wish the same, even after getting to know how hard it would be for him!!

Well, they both were same!!

"I have always wondered if you have treated every patient of yours the same, just as me!" he could hear her faint chuckle!

"Just rest! I know you haven't!!" he said silencing her! She sighed before strangely obeying him shutting her eyes!

It took them evening to reach the outskirts of the city, and as they travelled, they entered the village, which they had to go through to reach the castle!

Tara slowly turned her head the other side and her neck pained a bit as she did, her eyes slowly opening up! Seeing a lot of trees around she knew that they already entered the village, and would soon be reaching the forest as well! Her gaze travelled up to the sky, Tara blinked twice, realising that it was evening now, within sometime, the sun will set soon!

With a yawn she pulled herself up, "Was it too long?!"

He smiled, "Enough to take!!"

She shook her head, well indeed, she took enough rest! Her mind felt relaxed strangely! "Shall I take over?!"

It was too odd to hear that from her, she indeed was changing, asking instead commanding! "No! We almost reached I guess so!"

She nodded, "You know the route!"

"Mr.Nethin made sure I know, but I am not sure I know completely, cause we will be entering the jungle soon!"

She sighed, "Do you remember the route?!" he asked!

"Don't expect me to!!" she scoffed!

He chuckled, she finally was returning to her self!!

"Let's just ask someone!" she suggested!

"Yeah, it would be better!" he said, but he couldn't find anyone near, they were on a one way road, while one side was a hill the road was attached to in high heights, while the other side was of river flowing down! He drove along the route until they reached the main road again, more trees surrounding them now!

A sigh escaped his mouth when he saw few people walking by! "Let's just try asking them!!" he said taking a slight turn towards them to stop beside!

Popping out her head out of window, Tara enquired them about the castle, and the three men who heard her were taken aback!

"You guys are here for that cursed castle?!" one of them questioned, making Tara frown!

Aryan chuckled, she was right!! People assumed it to be cursed! And this only made him more curious!!

"We mean, are you going to stay there?!" the second one spoke!

"Yeah!" Tara nodded still with that frown on!

"No wonder I saw two men walking that way today morning!!" the third one spoke now!

Tara sighed, the very reason why she hated speaking, "As you now know, can you please guide us to it! We seem to have lost the way!!"

The second man nodded, "Go straight, there isn't any turn from here! You'll be directly entering into the forest!!"

Tara smiled, "Thank you so much!" she was about to turn up the windows but the third man who spoke up again restrained her to do so!

"Who are you and why are you here for the castle?!"

Ah this men!! "That's my parent's!! And I am visiting here after a long time! Well we are getting late, thanks for the help!" she forced a smile before turning the windows up! Aryan shook his head as he started driving again!

Tara sighed, as he continued to drive, there were still vehicles moving around, but not much! It was getting dark now and he could not clearly see the way anymore, the only thing that helped him were the headlights, and suddenly a car rushed from front making both of them gasp, he didn't notice it as the one driving it didn't turn on the headlights!

Aryan was too shocked to even act but instinctively took a left turn, and the car passed by with speed!

Tara sighed hard, her left hand reaching up, resting on her chest! Aryan stopped driving as he looked back from window!

"Was the man insane?!" Tara yelled!

Aryan sighed shaking his head in disbelief, the man didn't even care to stop by and check! He turned to her, "Are you alright?!"

She nodded, and he inwardly thanked that they wore seatbelts, else, they would definitely have been hurt!

"I am sorry, I should have been more careful!!" he apologized!

Tara shook her head, "There was clearly nothing your fault!"

Aryan sighed as he started driving again, he drove slowly now, even slower than he did previously! And she didn't say anything!

As they continued to travel, the atmosphere became even more dense, and slowly they entered into the forest, towering trees covered the surroundings!

After few minutes, they reached the castle, huge gates welcomed them! Aryan was about to get out of the car to open them but soon two men came out of the castle, rushing to open the gates!

As they did, he entered in, and parking the car, got out, along with her! As soon as he stepped out, Aryan streched his arms!

While Tara still held the box!

"Good evening mam! Good evening sir!" one of the men greeted before introducing himself! "I am Waun! Mr.Nethin arranged us to take care of you!"

Tara chuckled, before she shook her head, everyone speaks about taking care! Aryan smiled as if understanding her!

"I am Sam! And we are pleased to welcome and assist you!!" another one joined as well!

"I'm Aryan, and she's Tara!" he finally spoke about himself and her cause he knew she will not according to her mood now!

Both the men helped them with the luggage, and as they were about to enter in, Aryan took a brief look of the castle's entrance! While Tara soon caught herself reliving the long lost moments!
