Heartfelt Wish!!

"I'm into you Aryan!!" Tara finally confessed, though it was a whisper!

Her gaze was still fixed on him until it unknowingly shifted to the table, recognising the diary which was placed beside the bowl of water! He wrote something again? Her hands reached out, grabbing the book!

"Can I read it?!" she questioned herself, before looking up at him, "Well" she breathed, "I won't be taking a no anymore! You gave me your word!" she smirked as she opened the diary, to read!

Her heart clenched to read the first few pages, he wrote how he felt about his parent's death, and, the memories he saw! When he held his parent's hands! Tara couldn't even imagine herself in that situation and knowing he went through it, felt all like a shock, she didn't know how to react on this thing! So much disturbed that she turned those pages, holding back her tears!

And there came a page which she couldn't understand! That left her confused until she decided to turn that page as well! Later on, he wrote how he helped others through his ability to see through someone's memories. They were small, so insignificant to even talk about, but it actually gave her a sense of relief! She knew, this were of him before becoming a psychologist! What finally made her smile was one particular page, he wrote, about his experience!

'Funny it was! I had to help a girl who forgot where she hid her candies, which she probably had stolen from her friend! Little kid should have known it that I knew her secret!!'

A smile crept over her face! And she turned the pages again! Now, after so many turns, it was him writing about how he helped his patients through his ability! She kept turning until it was her, who was written about! 'Tara' he gave her a whole special tag! As if not wanting it to get mixed with the other information!

Traa looked up from the book, to take a look at him! He still was sleeping, probably because he didn't the whole night!

Taking a deep breath, she looked down again, focusing back, turning the pages. He had written how he helped her everytime, in some pages, they were even questions about her! Tara chuckled! Her attitude would have really got the best of his wonderings! Reading each and every word he had written about her! Slowly and surely realising that he said out everything he had written about her, and how he felt about her, yesterday night!

Completely knowing she wasn't the only one to feel!

Him creating every way to remember her forever!!

'You are that person in my life Tara, whom I want to remember my entire life, till my last breath! Every memory of mine with you is precious which I want to treasure!'

She remembered him saying! A large lump settled in her heart! Was it how it will be?! Will he really forget everything? And would she really....

She sighed in melancholy, if that was it, then it would be for better! If he could really forget her, then it would be of best for him cause she knew, compared to him, her end would be sooner than his! And perhaps, that was for their best!

Her gaze now lingering on him. If they were fated like this, let it be, they were atleast fated!!

Aryan stirred in sleep before slowly opening up his eyes! Stretching his body a little, loking to the sides with still drowsy eyes! When he finally took notice of her, he leaned forward.

"You are awake?! How are you feeling now?" his voice was husky!

Tara forced a smile, "Better!"

Aryan as if not satisfied, leaned further forward, almost sitting on the edge, reached out his hand to check her temperature, after a minute his lips curved up, "You are alright! You almost worried me last night!"

Tara nodded pretending as if she didn't care, while his gaze travelled down noticing the book she still held! "You...read it?!"

"I won't deny!"

Aryan looked at her with an unreadable expression before smirking, "I think I don't have any say today!"

"You realise things early!!" she teased! "By the way, I don't understand what you have written here!!" she asked wondering, turning back to the exact page she was referring to! Aryan with a frown took a look over what she showed!

'I wanted to go along with them! But.... I can't!! I wish....' it was written and left in half!

"Where and with whom did you want to go? Why didn't you and....why can't you?! And you even left it half written!!" Tara wondered!

Aryan wondered as well, taking a look at it, he couldn't remember why and what did he write about!

"Aryan?!" Tara called out making him come out of his halt!

He looked up confused, "I-I don't know!!" he admitted! She frowned!

Strange!

"Don't -know?!"

He looked as confused as her and this made her even more confused! Did he just....forget it? Just like his grandparents?! She suddenly felt a sting in her heart! "Try..... remembering it!" she tried to encourage him!

Aryan's gaze wavered, realising that he had forgotten it! What did he write about? When? Why? A sigh escaped his mouth when he couldn't remember anything though he tried as much as he can! With no option left, he grabbed the book from her, touching it with all the focus, "Aryan!!" she tried to stop him but for no avail!

Aryan didn't listen to her as he promised! Trying to remember, touching the page, a frown still settled on his face as he closed his eyes.

Aryan saw his younger self holding the diary, leaning against the closed door, sitting on the cold floor, sobbing!

Tears streamed down his closed eyes as he kept observing it, ignorant to Tara's callings trying to stop him! It was then he opened his misty eyes when she grabbed the book from him not being able to tolerate seeing him that way!

Aryan looked up at her through those wet eyes while his head and eyes pained!

"Can't you hear me?! I said don't!!" she almost yelled shutting the diary!

While Aryan was stuck, silent, his eyes wavered again! "I-I was ..... sad!" he blurted out before slowly looking up at her! "I was sad.....while writing it!"

Tara asked after staring him in silence, "Why?"

His gaze again wavered! "I don't.....know!!"

She was silent, but he wasn't, "I was crying! Just like you! The night when you locked yourself in your parent's room!!" he said it out halting her!

"How can I.... forget what belongs to me?"

"Is this.....really going to.... continue?!" he doubted himself now, in melancholy, in a moment of weakness forgetting that he intended to encourage her always and not the otherwise!

"I feel.....dazed! Exhausted!!" he admitted!

"Is this how alzheimer patients feel like?!" he chuckled sadly!

"It is you who said that it is nothing good to begin with!!" Tara spoke after a long break, making the man look at her again!

"And we exchanged the word! We will find a solution for this one day! We definitely will! I am full of hope!" she said it out for the first time, almost surprising him!

"From then, you won't be forgetting anything!! And I'll live! Long! Very long!!" she said with a smile while her left hand reached up, wiping away those tears of his before cupping his cheek! Unaware that just that glimpse of touch made him see her confession! Aryan's eyes widened as he saw her saying that!

"With you!!" she smiled wide! Aryan caught himself caged in that emerald gaze of hers!

"And I will make sure to give you many more weird, strange, and annoying memories, which you will never forget! And you won't be needing this book to remember things anymore!" this time she said it with all her trust, cause she wished with all her might, for it to happen! Cause now, she wanted to live!

Aryan was soundless! Everything she said was in one way comforting him while the memory he saw of her threw him into the pit of wonder!

Once she was hopeless, distant, silent, while now she's comforting, warm, close, closer than he could think of!

Either way she made him feel like they aren't different, and having someone like you was always comforting in a way!

Aryan breathed, "Will we?!"

Tara smiled wide bobbing her head, making him chuckle!

While they kept staring in silence, as if meant to break it down, a knock interrupted the hushed air! They both exchanged the glance before they looked towards the door, downing her hand, she sighed, "Come in!"

And soon Arshad came in, not surprising them anymore!

"Goodmorning!" he greeted!

"Goodmorning uncle!" Tara smiled, Aryan just gave out a smile to the man!
