(3rd POV)

*Yawn*

"Did you stay up all night yesterday?" Chihiro asked with an eyebrow raised.

"You could say so…" Shirou said tiredly as he yawned again.

Albion toyed with Shirou for the entire night inside the mindscape, even if Shirou used all his knowledge about magecraft and combined them with Divine Dividing, he still couldn't stand a chance against Albion, who already lived for millennia.

'You shouldn't complain, it was all for your good' Albion said inside his mind.

'As if I believed that, you had that smug look on your face the entire time and you didn't even hold back a little!'

'Haha is that so?'

'...'

Shirou was speechless at Albion's behaviour, but still, he could somehow comprehend why Albion was acting like this.

Shirou immediately shivered at the thought of being sealed inside of another person countless times over thousands of years, which he certainly wouldn't want. And when Albion finally found an opportunity to stretch his body, Shirou could understand why he was this excited.

Chihiro, seeing that Shirou dazed off, only shook her head.

"*Sigh* I know you're still young, but you shouldn't stay up late as it's gonna affect your body in the future" Chihiro reprimed him.

"Yes, yes…" Shirou said, which made Chihiro's eyebrow twitch in annoyance.

"*Sigh* Youngsters…" Chihiro complained quietly, but with Shirou's supernatural senses he could hear it quite clearly.

They continued to walk in silence until they reached the school gate.

"Oh right, I almost forgot," Chihiro said as she turned to Shirou. "Meet me at the teacher's office after class ends, I have something to ask you."

Shirou couldn't even reply as Chihiro started walking off, which made him sigh again.

"Already tired even before class starts?" Shirou heard a familiar voice behind him, so he turned to him.

"Good morning Shirou," Yahiro greeted with his hand raised.

"Good morning, Yahiro...*Yawn* I couldn't sleep last night," Shirou greeted tiredly back.

"What? Were you thinking about a girl?" Yahiro teased as he wrapped his arm around Shirou's neck and brought him closer. "Come on tell me, I promise that I won't tell anyone"

Shirou was annoyed and pushed away his arm. "That's not it. I just simply couldn't sleep last night"

Shirou then walked away to the classroom as Yahiro just shrugged his shoulders and went after him.

Upon arriving at the classroom, Shirou immediately went to his seat and pulled his phone discreetly from his pocket.

'Nice, at least something good happened this morning' Shirou grinned as he looked at his parameters. Shirou was rather pleased that his training inside the mindscape could affect him physically and not just mentally.

He quickly put his phone back in his pocket after sensing the teacher entering the classroom.

"Good morning class..." The teacher greeted everyone as he walked to his desk and started his class.

Shirou and Yahiro were having their lunch on the rooftop while chatting normally without touching supernatural subjects, but then they suddenly heard screams at the gate and out of curiosity, they looked down.

There was a crowd there screaming excitedly while also leaving a straight line empty.

"What's going on over there?" Shirou asked curiously as he took a bite from his bento that he made with the leftovers of yesterday's dinner.

Yahiro chuckled as followed Shirou's sight as he looked at the crowd.

"Well, it's normal that you don't know, but this is pretty common here," Yahiro said while chewing his favourite yakisoba bread.

"Seriously?" Shirou asked in disbelief.

"Seriously," Yahiro replied as he followed Shirou's gaze.

Suddenly, a black limousine appeared and stopped at the school gates. Then a butler left the car to open the back door and at that moment, the crowd's excitement only grew wilder.

"Why aren't the teachers stopping them?" Shirou asked curiously.

"Because the teachers know it is futile to stop them as they just keep doing it even after being told to stop" Yahiro explained to him.

"Then why do they keep doing this?

"You'll see it now."

Then at that moment, a voluptuous young woman left the limousine. She had a pair of crimson eyes with hair of the same colour. She was so utterly gorgeous that she could even turn gays into straight with only her appearance-

'A high-class devil!' Shirou thought as soon as he looked at her. 'And strong…'

"She is Mio Gremory, one of the princesses of our school and in the same year as we are. Also, it is said that she came from Europe" Yahiro said.

'Gremory? But there shouldn't be any Gremory around my age beside Rias!' Shirou thought and immediately widened his eyes.

'Unless, because of the crossover, elements from another world were brought to DxD and all of their backgrounds were adjusted to it! Maybe even their abilities…'

Shirou looked at Mio Gremory, who is supposed to be Mio Naruse, walking out of the limousine.

'If she is here then others might be here too…' Shirou thought, but then noticed something strange.

"But I didn't see her yesterday though?" Shirou asked.

"Of course, because she didn't come yesterday," Yahiro explained. "They have a special condition that allows them to come to school whenever they want, and it seems the principal allowed it."

'How lucky…' Shirou thought, but then he noticed something.

"They?"

"UmU" Yahiro nodded. "They are called the "Princess' Knights" by the school because they are always with Gremory-san, even if some of them aren't really like knights"

As Yahiro finished speaking, a beautiful petite girl with long silver hair tied in twintails and purple eyes left the limousine after Mio and, different from other students, she wasn't wearing the normal school uniform, instead, she wore a gothic-themed version of it with a keyhole like-thing in her collar.

After her, a pair of young women left the car, one of them was wearing a school uniform and had blond hair tied in a one-sided drill hairstyle with green eyes, she also had a knight aura around her. The other woman was quite tall and had white short hair and tanned skin with gold eyes, and in contrast to all others, she was wearing a maid uniform.

Shirou immediately recognized them even if they are completely different from when they were still anime. Shirou was stunned as he couldn't even properly express how beautiful they were.

"They are the Princess Knights," Yahiro said while secretly pointing his finger at them and started to introduce them to Shirou, even if Shirou already knew their names with his previous otaku knowledge and his skill, but there was no way Yahiro could know about it.

"The petite girl is Maria Lucifuge, and the blond one is Celis Reinhardt and the maid is Zest. And apparently, all of them are living at the same place" Yahiro said.

'Based on their aura, all of them are either middle-class border lining higher-class or already high-classes, and especially Maria which is on par with Mio, both of them are already in high-class devils!' Shirou thought as he looked at them leaving the limousine. 'And some of them posses sacred-gears, but I can't identify them.'

'I have to be careful to not cause havoc, I don't want to face devils...at least not yet' Shirou thought before turning around.

"Where are you going?" Yahiro asked as he looked at Shirou's back.

"Toilet," Shirou said briefly and Yahiro nodded in understanding.

(Mio's POV)

'What is this feeling?' I thought and looked above on the rooftop.

I was feeling being watched, although I am already used to being stared at by people, after all, I was one of the sisters of current Satans, and besides the lustful gazes that some people gave, even though it annoys me and make me uncomfortable, but I can't really do anything to them if they didn't do anything first.

But this time was different, I felt as if someone could look at me completely like an open book and this feeling persisted before it suddenly vanished.

"Is something wrong, Mio-sama?" Zest asked me worriedly as she handed me my schoolbag.

"I-It's nothing Zest," I unconsciously stuttered in surprise by the sudden question.

"Hooo~~" Maria approached me with a smug face. "Don't tell me someone caught your attention, Mio-sama"

A blush appeared unconsciously on my face and Maria's smile grew wider.

"I already said it's not it!" I shouted back. Even though I had already known her for years since childhood, I still couldn't tolerate her teasing, so I could only turn around and start walking towards the school.

"Wait for me, Mio-sama" I heard Celis calling but I ignored her.

"See you later, Mio-sama! And don't forget to tell me the details later!" Maria shouted and, of course, without forgetting to tease me until the end, which only accelerated my footsteps until I entered the school, where the usual crowd was there to supposedly wait for me.
