Jeanne slowly got sleepy and started to drift into her dream, the time passes by and the sky color started to change into orange.
waking up from the sleep Alex look towards the sky and notice the sun was about to set, while seeing that Jeanne was sleeping quite comfortably next to him.
seeing this Alex started to woke Jeanne up.
"Jeanne come on wake up, we will miss dinner." I am shaking her body to wake her up.
"5 more minute." replying deliriously
"Jeanne, if you don't wake up I will kiss you." hearing this she Immediately sprang up and look towards me with a threatening look.
"Alex, what do you intend to do."
"I want to wake the lazy village girl from her slumber, or should I wake the sleeping beauty with a kiss?" I smiled towards her and pick up all of the groceries and said. "come on let's go back it's almost time for dinner." without waiting for her to responded, I pick her up in a style princess carry while carrying the groceries with the other hand, and use shundo the principle is the same but different from using Ki I use mana.
"wait, put me down."
I ignore her and increase the speed, when I was running towards our hideout, I saw Sieg and Astolfo, I decide to stop in front of them.
"Sieg and Astolfo, help me carry some of the groceries, it will be use as our dinner." seeing me suddenly appearing in front of them surprised both of them, after the initial shocked Astolfo notice that is was holding Jeanne with my other hand.
"ohh, I understand Alex, you want us to help you carry the Groceries so you can focus on holding Jeanne." she started to tease me. "since you understand c'mon help me now." hearing both of our words Jeanne immediately jump down from the princess carry.
"both of you stop teasing me."
"ok then, I will stop, but I still need a hand on holding the Groceries."
"ok then." both sieg and Astolfo replied and started to help me carry the groceries, while Jeanne also came in to help.
"well let's go back I am going to cook Napolitan Pasta and deep fried chicken."
they then helped me carry the huge bag, when we all enter the room, Gramps then materialize and walk to sit on the sofa.
"thank you Gramps for keeping watch the two of them."
"It is acceptable. Tending to children hath its merits on occasion."
"Gramps how about trying to eat, there's no pork so you can eat it."
"Contractor, I retain the capacity to partake in sustenance even while veiled by this mask."
"hahahha, it is fine I'm just interested what's beneath the mask, is it a face or another mask."
Gramps just kept silent to my responses.
after saying that I went to the kitchen and drag Sieg with me, I then taught him how to cut and clean the ingredients and how to make Napolitan and Fried Chicken.
"Alex why do you ask me to help in the kitchen?"
"since it will help you, even if you go outside I want you to have a skill to survive without using magic, well did you find anything you want to do after traveling around with Astolfo?"
he then shake his head but showing a confused expression.
then I asked another question "why do you want to get out from that castle?"
"because I want to be free."
"do you want to return to the castle again?"
"yes."
"why do you want to go back there?, did you feel sorry for the homunculus left behind?"
"yes, I want to save them."
"are you sure?, you know you can just leave and live long enough without caring anything."
"I can't, I had a dream about the underground of the castle, the body of other homunculus was thrown away."
"then think again, both of me and Kairi will go to the castle, you still have time until after dinner."
after saying that I then continue to teach as well asked him to cook with me, with an extra pair of hand the cooking become much faster and easier, since the amount were cooking is very large.
especially since there's Modred eating, both Sieg and I are cooking with extreme precision and speed, it seems he learn very fast.
after cooking both of us were very tired and I asked Gramps and Kairi to help bring the food to the table.
"ok, let's have a feast before going out, we can't fight with an empty stomach."
hearing that the first one to eat was modred seeing this I followed suit and the people around started eating, Astolfo was focus on putting food on Sieg plate, while Modred was being taken care of by Kairi, while Gramps eat so fast that I can't see him chewing, as expected of him.
"Jeanne don't just stand there, if you don't hurry up Modred would finish everything." I then put a piece of chicken on her plate then continue to eat my own food, seeing this she started eating.
after eating all of the food, Jeanne and I was cleaning the table. "Modred shouldn't you help clean the table since you are the one who clean up all the food?"
she didn't reply and keep rubbing her belly that was full of food even though I didn't see any change and was confuse where does the food go.
"forget it, a lazy bum won't move." saying that I started to clean the plates and table.
"Young knight, indolence is not a virtue befitting thy station. Thou must embrace diligence. Fool, surrender thy head!"
hearing Hassan words Modred suddenly stood up and run like the wind and took the dishes and clean it up.
"Gramps what happened to her?, did something happen when you guys sparred?"
"She aspired to be a King, and thus, I engaged and instructed her in the ways of kingship."
well I won't ask for the detail.
seeing this I took out my phone and scroll through the news, one of the news on the phone caught my attention, it seems the news is promoting Ai, since she is going on a world tour, it seems in this world she is popular as well.
when I was focusing on the phone Sieg suddenly said to me.
"Alex, please allow me to follow you to the castle?"
"are you sure?, even if the result is you ended up losing your life, what about Rider."
"Yes, I am fine with it, and Rider said she want to help me."
"good, you can follow us, but we wont have time to spare to help you, every thing you want to do need to be done on your own, well think of it as a homework for you." after that I followed up. "make sure everything you do from now on is something you won't regret and don't die."
"ok, thank you."
after that I call everyone to gather at the dining table.
"Jeanne as a ruler you can't be here so can I ask you to get out first?"
she looked at me with a questioning gaze.
"even though this will help you deal with shirou, it is also a war that are directly determined the ownership of the grail, so having you assist us is breaking the rule."
"ok then, I pray for your fortune in battle."
walking away she went to her own room to rest.
after she left I went and continue to walk into the dining room, Kairi and Modred as well Sieg and Astolfo.
"I presume Shirou will use Semiramis Hanging tower of Babylon as way to attack the castle of the Black Faction."
"so will we be intercepting when they are about to take the Grail?"
"no we will let Shirou take the Grail and activate it, after that we will attack and storm the dungeon, of course we will help the black faction after Darnic are eliminated."
"why, wait until that?"
"because Darnic is the head, and it will be easier to talk to the Black Faction after he is gone."
Kairi and Modred went back to do the final check before departing.
after that I help Sieg to use his Heart and activate his servant mode, I let him fight until he is exhausted and faint, after I said to Astolfo when he woke up they will follow us to the castle, I hope this will help him gain Siegfried power.
