The End of the Psychotic Killer

Ragna moved with a speed imperceptible to the human eye, leaping from one building to another. In his mind, only one thought echoed: "Ryunosuke Uryu. I must stop him before he summons Caster." His eyes glowed with a cold light, his resolve as unyielding as steel.

"I need to spread more Silurine," he murmured under his breath. Without hesitation, he expanded the Silurine in the air. It spread like an invisible mist, covering every corner of the city. Ragna focused harder, locking his mind onto each human presence in the city. But he only concentrated on ordinary people; he didn't want to draw the attention of Servants.

Suddenly, a familiar tremor emerged among thousands of other presences. "Ryunosuke Uryu," Ragna muttered with a smirk. "I've found you." Without delay, he moved toward him.

From the outside, the house appeared ordinary, but inside, it was a nightmare brought to life. The thick stench of blood filled the air, making it unbearable for anyone who dared to enter.

The family who had lived here had been the target of a merciless killer's violence.

Ryunosuke Uryu, whistling a tune, was drawing a magical circle on the floor. The blood of the child's parents stained the ground, its deep crimson hue glistening even under the dim light of the room.

He looked at the child, whose hands and feet were tied, with excitement. The child squirmed, tears streaming down his face. He had watched in horror as his parents were brutally murdered. Ryunosuke chuckled briefly and said, "Don't worry. We're going to test something together. If a demon is summoned, you'll be its first meal. Pretty cool, right?"

The child screamed, struggling harder, but the ropes were tight. Ryunosuke ignored him and resumed his work, mumbling to himself: "I wonder what demons look like?

His thoughts were interrupted by a loud noise above him. He looked up at the ceiling, where deep cracks were forming. Before he could react, the roof collapsed.

Ragna stood amidst the rubble and dust. The mutilated bodies of the child's parents lay at his feet. If this had been in the past, he might have been overcome with nausea, but now he simply stared with cold detachment. "Why do I feel nothing?"

Without hesitation, he moved to the child, cutting the ropes and saying in a calm voice: "Run. Don't look back."

The child didn't utter a word and bolted toward the door. Before he could reach it, a gleeful laugh echoed through the hall.

"Wow! That was amazing! How did you do that? Was it a superpower? Are superpowers real?", Ryunosuke Uryu said with an excited face.

Ragna looked at him coldly, muttering: "I despise people like you. You're like dragons-just the sight of you makes me sick."

With a chilling smirk, he added: "Ryunosuke Uryu, let me ask you a question."

Ryunosuke, puzzled, asked, "How do you know my name? Are you a fan of mine?"

Ragna ignored the question and continued: "You're searching for the meaning of death, aren't you? I have a method that will let you fully understand it. Do you want to know?"

Ryunosuke's eyes lit up with excitement. "Yes! How? Tell me!"

Ragna smirked. "It's simple... you have to die."

Ragna moved faster than Ryunosuke's eyes could follow. In the blink of an eye, Ryunosuke's arms were severed. Blood splattered everywhere, and a deep wound appeared on his chest. But unlike any normal person, Ryunosuke didn't scream in pain. Instead, he laughed with an indescribable thrill.

"So, it was here all along... inside me... how beautiful..."

Moments later, his body went limp. Even in death, his smile remained.

Ragna looked at his bloodstained hands.

"I killed someone, but I feel nothing," he thought briefly. He heard the sound of approaching police sirens. Without wasting time, he grabbed the magical book Ryunosuke had been using and leaped out of the house in a single bound.
