21 RE Taekwondo

Izayoi was a little confused, his adventure in this world just started.

Baron: "How did your spirit escape the Throne," he asked Gil.

Escape the throne. Heroic Spirits are beings of a higher existence, becoming categorically closer to Elementals than wraiths. They are freed from the constraints of time itself and removed from the ring of reincarnation, moved to the Throne of Heroes, a place existing outside of both the World and the time axis. The Throne of Heroes is also occasionally referred to as the Ring of Deterrence, referring to how it is mainly used by the Counter Force. Those that become closer to the planet do not mix well with people, so they fall into the categories of Divine Spirits and Elementals.

Holy Grail basically make copies of spirits from the Throne and materialize them by using Heavens feel, and mana. But Gil wasn't actually a copy but the real one was still in the Throne. This was impossible, how did he escape? Even Gil didn't know the answers.

Gil: "I don't know? I am the real one!"

Baron: "Hmmm, looks like even you don't know about this. I will find the reason behind this later."

Gil: "What the hell is happening here? How did I get here?", Gil grabbed his head in frustration. It didn't take much time for him to calm down, but he was still confused. He said, "What am I going to do now?"

He couldn't find any purpose for his existence. His kingdom, his people and his best&only friend were long gone. He stayed here so that he could fix humanity, but now it seems they were gone case. There was hope for them.

Izayoi: "Let's go. Whatever world it is?"

Gil: "I want to go there too."

Without any purpose left. There was not any meaning for him to stay here. But there was still a little hesitation.

"Can I take a spirit from the Throne with me."

Gil was obviously referring to Enkidu. Although he grew close to Izayoi over this time. But he considered him a close ally, not a friend, due to the vow he made to Enkidu.

Baron: "It is possible, but this may cause the destruction of the planet."

Alaya is connected to the Throne of Heroes and to the planet itself. Tinkering with this system may cause the planet's destruction. Gil knew it was stupid to do this.

Gil: "Then let's get out of here."

While saying this he thought, 'I'll be back.'

Baron: "I have recovered fully recovered my spiritual energy, so it's not going to be a problem."

A white light enveloped them and disappeared. Before disappearing from there, Baron left a bunch of fruit in the table before leaving.

Next moment they appeared in the middle of a city. People there could not notice anything because of Baron invisibility spell.

Gil: "Where are we?"

Izayoi used his enhanced senses to get a better idea of his location. He was sure of his location as he heard...

Izayoi: "Why the fuck did bring us here?"

Gil: "Don't know much about this place but, who the hell like this shit?"

Izayoi: "Koreans, bimbos and everyone you like to call mongrel."

Baron: "Now the real reason, I brought you here is so that you can improve your power. Humans in this world are different. With hard training, they could reach beyond their genetic limits and reach God level."

Izayoi: "Don't tell me it's martial arts. Why would I need that? I could destroy galaxies with a punch."

Baron: "Here martial arts are different. Long ago, humans, monsters, and gods lived on the ancient Earth. The monsters sought to rule over the humans, who were far weaker than they, and had not yet developed technology on a level to hurt them (humans were living in what would be considered the Stone Age). Mankind was divided and scattered, living in isolated clans, each trying to fend for themselves. Eventually, a chieftess of a human clan named Ungnyeo appealed to the distant gods to lend them their power.

The Gods agreed after much deliberation, and gave humans their power but the drawback was, every time a human used this power, they either got older or younger. There was as 'prominent clan' who the gods gave their power to who saw that the cost of using the power not worth it, and sought to create their own power, thus martial arts were born."

Gil: "Humans not depending on Gods, I like it."

Baron: "Last time it took everything you have in the fight with Azi Dhaka, you need to learn how to manage your power."

Izayoi: "Fine...What do you have in mind?"

Baron: "Among all the martial arts, Renewal Taekwondo is the most suitable for you. Renewal Taekwondo, or RE Taekwondo, is a type of martial art developed in modern South Korea. It is used by Jin Mo-Ri and Jin Tae-Jin in the series. It is emphasized in strong, linear kicks like its base WTF Taekwondo. Some skills are directly linked with WTF Taekwondo.

 RE Taekwondo owns a wide variety of kicks aimed at the upper parts of the body using the rotation of the body as a source of power. However, the users of this martial art often utilize a full arsenal of punches not seen in real life Taekwondo along with the softness/hardness concept of Chinese martial arts and the "bobbing and weaving" of boxing."
