Chapter 289 : Old Aunt
Xiao Liu moaned and twisted on what felt like the ground, her cough rising to her throat, clutching her chest at the feeling of a pang in her heart centre, ending up coughing blood. She winced and managed to open her eyes, but collapsed back to the ground as another shot of agony nearly paralysed her. She went limb to limb with her back to the sky before collapsing into unconsciousness. She saw a face looming over her.
The tinkling of the pots woke her up, and Xiao Liu's eyes parted. The burly vision cleared up to see the roof of a hut, and her eyes opened, recalling the fall, the crimson sky, the thunder, "Dong Hai!" She jumped up, her chest heaving as she struggled to breathe and her heart racing.
