17 Chapter 17 : The Garden of Ocean of Bliss

Ren's warning was burning in Hong Liu's mind, she is a little immortal had never been through a trial, as a matter of fact, a butterfly is born as a caterpillar and every butterfly fairy have to go through a heavenly trial to get his or her wings. She was the first one who was born with the wings, she never through any trial yet and what Ren wrote in the letter it was clear, there is going to be a trial for this, a test but what? Ren is smart, he must have to ask Crown Prince where she was? And he must know that she is living in the ocean of bliss palace and he must have sent the letter magically by tracing her aura. Hong Liu nodded to her conclusion.

Days passed by her, the First Lord seemed like the ghost in his own palace mostly though Hong Liu knew he spends most of his time in his study or in his room meditating. He was a rare sight but a sight Hong Liu finds herself looking forward to every second. She soon finds out that this white marble was not the only characteristic of this palace, there was a garden as well all kind of exotic flower and trees were there, this corner of the palace was introduced to her the Fate Lord Ming Zhu who was curiously followed by the spring goddess.

"So there is some colour in this palace!" Hong Liu exclaimed and took a deep breath in the garden, there was not a speck of white here except the lilies in the west corner of the garden. She felt like was back in the Green Forest.

Hua Shen, the spring goddess was looking around the garden with utmost astonishment in her eyes, It was like she swallowed her tongue while Hong Liu enjoyed the new surrounding with her wide surprised eyes and her cheeks flushed in excitement as she checks the flowers and...there were some fruits as well! The garden was no less the size of mini-forest even the plants and the big wide trunk trees were so dense. Hong Liu's eyes widen as she saw a line of peach blossom trees and she half fly- half walk there in delighted beyond measure and her dark purple-robed figure disappear in the peach blossom.

This made Hua Shen pulled Ming Zhu in her side as she whispers furiously.

"Last time I checked this place didn't exist in this palace, how come this garden appeared in no time as little as twenty-one days?!"

Ming Zhu gave nervous chuckled.

"Ummm....uhhhh...Her Little Highness natural habitation is a complete contrast with of is in Nine Heavens. Her spirit is still healing from the heavenly retribution. The First Lord thought she might be more comfortable like this," Ming Zhu said.

"So...you are saying that he created a small of the forest for this little Lotus?" Hua Shen looks at Ming Zhu slyly.

"I request you, Your Ladyship don't let your thoughts run too far with this new and on the name of the supreme lord don't tell this to little highness," Ming Zhu implored.

"I am not in habit of talking about things that not my business but are you trying to suggest that this has to be hidden form the first and only person who the First Lord such a personal incentive," Hua Shen said.

"Your Ladyship, this is nothing but the kindness of a reverend diety. It should not be interpreted otherwise," Ming Zhu bowed his head a little in a request.

But Hua Shen has eyes, the eyes who have seen a lot of Nine Heavens and occasionally of The First Lord in her five hundred thousand years immortal lifetime, There is a reason everybody calls him an old rock. He never lifts a finger for anybody unless the universe is about to end, that is an exceptional circumstance and she heard only once him fighting in her lifetime the rest of it is all in the story of legends and the history books. Now he created a whole small forest in the backyard of his palace there has to be something behind it, silent as this palace was. Something was changing in this ocean of bliss palace.

The Fate Lord Ming Zhu was scared of his master's anger, therefore, he wouldn't even dare to think of something like that of what the spring goddess suggested. Besides, the interaction between the little princess and the First Lord has been the bare minimum. Ming Zhu who had worked for the former master of the universe for four hundred thousand years knew, that stone is never meant to melt. Many women infatuated by The First Lord personality, Hong Liu's innocent heart would never be able to handle that harsh Stone. It's better if she stays caution and never goes down to that path and The First Lord specific about that Hong Liu should never know about the creation of this garden.

"Make sure that you don't say anything that there was no such a place here before her, " Ming Zhu pressed.

"Fine, Fine, I just find it very curious, Let Little lotus play here, this is indeed a beautiful garden," Hua Shen pretends to be unimpressed with so much secrecy.

"Yes, Yes it is" Ming Zhu nodded smiling, as Hong Liu appeared from the peach blossom trees.

"Fate Lord Ming Zhu, why haven't you showed me this place before! This is absolutely magnificent!" Hong Liu beamed. Hong Liu in the familiar surrounding was buzzing with energy, the lost colour on her face was back. Dong Hai was looking at her running around as the trail of robes swept beside her from his study window.

Of Course, it was magnificent, it was the extension of The First Lord Spiritual Essence.
