Two warriors fought fiercely, one with a sword and the other with two lances. Each of their strikes carried superhuman strength and deadly intent. Sparks flew as sword and lance collided.
Amidst their duel, a giant man on a chariot crashed in the middle of everything and interrupted them.
"Both of you, sheath your blades. You are in the presence of a king!"
The red-haired man grinned, "I am Iskandar, the King of Conquerors!"
He continued, "In this grail war, I am of the rider class."
Everyone in the surroundings, including the warriors and the master of rider, looked at him with shock.
Arthur chuckled from atop a building nearby.
As Iskandar began talking, Ulquiorra said to Arthur, "My lord, are their voices annoying to your ears? Do you wish me to silence them?"
He shook his head, "I know what you can do, I am sure you can wipe out this entire country with a Cero Oscuras, none of them is your match. So why waste your energy on small fry? I summoned you to face the likes of the wizard marshall..."
Ulquiorra nodded and bowed slightly, "As you command."
Just then Ulquiorra turned to look in a certain direction, his eyes glowing slightly, "There are ants aiming weapons at us."
Arthur simply smiled, "It is Emiya, let him watch. I am going to have some fun..." Arthur enchanted his clothes, the changed form. It turned into black and red armor that made him look demonic. He also used his Enchant to change how his stats would look to other masters of the grail war with a mischievous expression. It was a simple matter, just a small interference, and illusion...
(Look armor here)
"... Heroic Spirits, born again through the holy grail, gather here and now! Those too craven to show themselves will draw the scorn of Iskandar, King of conquerors!" Iskandar shouted toward the sky.
A few seconds after, a man materialized from spirit form. He wore gold from head to toe and had an arrogant gaze.
His red eyes looked at the Heroic Spirits below with disdain, "So, two lesser beings dare name themselves kings, even in my presence."
Iskandar was confused and asked where the problem was, for he was indeed the king of conquerors.
The man named Gilgamesh answered, "What nonsense. I am the one true King. All others are mongrels, pretenders to the name."
Iskandar wanted to say something but he was interrupted by the new arrival.
"I greet you all heroes of the past." Arthur said with a smile, everyone turned to look at him.
He continued, "I was summoned as caster. You may call me Hades, god of the underworld."
The face of the masters paled considerably. Especially Waver Velvet...
"What do you see boy?" Iskandar asked with a raised eyebrow.
Waver answered with wide eyes, "All stats are EX ranked... Divine Spirit?! We are doomed..."
The other servants quickly faced him with vigilance. Kiritsugu Emiya frowned, "This is bad... Mai, retreat for now."
Iskandar laughed, "HAHAHA, A god! That's great! This shall be a legendary battle indeed!"
Arthur enjoyed the look on their faces, he said calmly, "No need to be so afraid, I am not here to fight. Not yet..."
He turned to look at Archer, "Ah, Gilgamesh, is it? Your arrogance is indeed something else, the size of your ego would surely explipse the sun and moon at this rate. You may have been a king, but at the moment, you are nothing but a shadow, so you are also a pretender to the name."
Somewhere unknown, Tokiomi Tohsaka almost fell down his chair as Kirei Kotomine smiled for some reason...
"What?! You dare..." Before Gilgamesh could continue, he was interrupted, "I do, what are you going to do?"
Gilgamesh stopped talking for a moment, the silence was strangely deafening in the surroundings.
Suddenly a crazy smile appeared on his face, "The gods and their arrogance... It seems I shall slay a god today to calm my anger."
Thousands of golden portals opened up behind him, noble phantasms of all sorts peeking their head out, ready to strike.
Everyone's eyes widened looking at the spectacle, everyone secretly thought, 'Can I survive that kind of attack?'
Most did not want to find out the answer.
Arthur didn't panic either, Ulquiorra expressionlessly walked in front of him and looked at Gilgamesh. The King of heroes didn't fire though, he seemed to wait for something or rather communicate with someone.
Arthur stopped paying him any attention, he instead turned to look at the others...
"The moment I came upon this world, the battle was already over. However, rejoice for I am not interested in this curropted grail. I shall bestow upon you trials and if you succeed, I shall grant your wishes."
He grinned, "Tomorrow at 1st light, the immortal demon Deliora shall walk this world. He shall lay waste to mountains and seas, claim countless lives and destroy all in its wake. Your 1st trial is to defeat him. You need to ally together to face him or you will stand no chance. The one who lands the finishing blow will get a wish granted by me. The fate of this world is in your hands, let the Holy Grail War begin!"
The duo vanished in teleportation.
Arthur rubbed his hands together, 'So my plan for world domination begins...'
He had already made a very detailed plan on how to achieve world domination based on his knowledge of this universe and even had ideas for more... As for what those plans were... We shall see.
He took out the last book, 'Deliora, you shall soon awaken.'
Meanwhile, Iskandar was stunned.
What did he mean by trials? Did caster really think that he could do as he wished? The king of conquerers truly was confused by the recent turn of events, looking at his master, he became cautious, 'The boy looks pale, I need to ask details of what he saw...'
Saber slowly retreated, making her master also retreat with her, "What should we do about this?"
Her master answered, "We should retreat and wait, caster seems to be a huge trouble..."
The masters and servants left one by one, the 1st one being a pissed-off Gilgamesh who seemed to want to take his anger out on his master.
Gilgamesh was furious, 'How dare that mongrel to command me to stop?!
Archer's master had prevented the king to attack by a command seal! 'What gal!'
The thought of how shameful he must have looked, especially after he said he would slay a god, to only stand there like a fool!
'YOU MONGREL!' He was going to punish his so-called master and make him understand who he was.
Perhaps the only one who was not very shook was Lancer, his master on the other hand seemed to be deep in thought, he shrugged his shoulders, as long as he could fight Saber again to finish their duel, he was good.
As for berserker, well, he was berserk. His master had a crazy smile, "This is a good chance for me... Hehehe..."
What was for sure, no one had taken Arthur's words seriously, everyone thought that he was scheming something instead. Who would believe it? Even if he was a divine spirit as he claimed, he would not be able to stand in front of all other servants by himself...
I am not dropping this fanfic, the update is slow because I am busy with stuff.
