8 Chapter 8: The wand chooses the the wizard... or not.

I maybe just maybe I was letting my emotions take the best of me. I think that my bias 'knowing' him and my hate for people abusing kids it just got it to my nerves. Also, I think that I'm not the only one that has the need of do something about this.
On the outside McGonagall looked sorrowful and she really is, but deep inside she has multiple dark thoughts specially against someone of authority, I didn't have to be a genius to know that she was thinking of Dumbledore.
"Are you better now Harry?" Hagrid was the first one to break the silence asking if the boy was right.
"Yes, sorry for making everyone uncomfortable." Said Harry a little bit down.
"It's okay kid you didn't make anyone uncomfortable." Elliot said trying to not make feel Harry guilty.
"Yes sweetheart, everything it's okay" Catherine patting Harry's head.
Harry at first flinched at Catherine's touch but after a few moments he looked relaxed and a little bit happy at it.
"Hello there" I said trying to talk with the boy.
Harry broke from his trance and looked at my direction, his deep green eyes looked at mines and stared at them curiously.
I chuckled a little bit and pointed at my eyes. "Weird, isn't it?"
Harry flinched at my words "N-No I didn't mean-"
"Hahaha it's okay don't be so tense, I know that it's weird to have purple eyes, but you are the first one to notice it" I said trying to make this less awkward for Harry. And I meant it neither McGonagall nor the Grangers said anything about it to my surprise.
"Isn't that normal in Wizards or Witches to have eyes like yours?" Hermione asked curiously.
"Miss Granger is quite unusual to have eyes like Mr. Hoshimura but not unheard off. In my years as a student one of my classmates had golden colored eyes" Intervened McGonagall.
'Thanks for the plot Kazuma' I thought since it would be a pain in the ass explaining this.
"By the way the name is Yozora Hoshimura, hope we can be friends" I said with a smile.
Following my lead Hermione presented herself "My name is Hermione Granger we would be classmates in the future so please take care of me."
Harry smiled at us. "You know my name already, but it would be rude to not introduce myself, my name is Harry Potter and I would love to be acquiesce with both of you" Harry said in a rather formal way.
"Harry, you don't have to be so formal with us, after all we have the same age." I told Harry.
"Yozora is right it would be awkward to talk to you in a formal manner."
Harry just nodded at our words, but I could see a small smile on his face.
After the introductions were done, we talked for a couple of minutes, but Hagrid told us that he needed to take Harry to his 'home' since those were the instruction from Dumbledore and it wasn't a surprise that no one was happy about it. Maybe the Grangers didn't know the full story, but they weren't idiots and knew that Harry's living condition were everything but good. They even offered he wanted to spend the day with them but sadly it wasn't possible. McGonagall also didn't like the idea but remained in silence. I would offer my house, but I would needed to play smart help Harry in a more permanent way.
"Hey Harry catch." I said as a passed something to him.
Harry clumsily cached it and looked at me quite confused.
"Today is your birthday, isn't it? Is not a big thing but I hope you like it" I said with a smile.
Harry looked at the silver bracelet with some strange symbols from his perspective.
Looking at Harry's face I decided to explain him. "I bought it when I was traveling in the Scandinavian countries, I person that sold it to me told me that it was a good luck charm"
"This look expensive I can't accept it." Harry said quite hesitant.
"It's fine really. But if you don't want to feel about it maybe you can give me something in my birthday next year." I said trying to make him accept it.
"Wait." Hermione said as she was looking for something in the things that she purchased. "Here, this is book is about the wizard world in general as well of some customs the clerk of the store told me that is pretty useful for muggleborns."
Harry took the book and hugged it along with the bracelet. "Thanks"
"Sorry for interrupting you but we need to go." Hagrid said quite sad since he really didn't want to take Harry with the Dursleys again but had to follow Dumbledore orders.
Harry looked quite sad of leaving after just meeting us, but I told him that it would be just for a month before we see each other again.
{It was one of the enchanted things that you did the other day isn't it?} Gramps asked me with our mental connection.
{Yup, the effects of the bracelet are quite simple but useful, just a passive minor regeneration effect and an emergency spell defensive case of dire danger}
{You are not worried that they would find out?}
{Not at all, the regeneration effect uses so little magic energy that it would be difficult to discern, and with the defensive spell would be hard to take effect but even if they notice I don't care, at worst I will just take care of Dumbledore even before planned in a good way maybe that can make the plot advance faster}
We entered the store and Mr. Ollivander was already in the reception desk.
"Professor McGonagall 9 ½ inches fir wood and dragon heartstring core, it seems like it was yesterday that I sold you your wand."
"Hello Garrick, is nice to see you too." McGonagall said to the eccentric man,
Ollivander looked at us and smiled. "I see new wizards in need of a long life partner, good both of you look promising I may have what both of you need but first some introductions would be needed."
"Hello Mr. Ollivander, I am Hermione Granger I will be in your care." Hermione said in her usual polite tone that she uses with adults.
"The pleasure is mine Miss Granger." Ollivander nodded at her and changed his sight at me.
"Greetings Mr. Ollivander, my name is Yozora Hoshimura a pleasure to meet you." I said at the eccentric man.
"Good both of you are polite quite rare with today's kids, so who will go first?" Ollivander asked looking at us.
"Lady's fir-"I tried to say but before I ended the phrase…
"Are you going to do something crazy like what happened at Gringotts?" Hermione asked me and everyone stared at me.
"…" McGonagall stared at me
"…" Elliot stared at me
"…" Catherine stared at me
"…" Gramps stared at me 'tch traitor'
"I plead the fifth" I said trying to not incriminate myself
"We are in England" Hermione said looking at me as if I was stupid.
"Is there a British equivalent?" I asked since I didn't know a lot of British laws.
Hermione sighed at my antics "Just go already." Said the girl quite tiredly.
"Fine…"
"Good, good you give the feel of someone adventurous maybe…" Ollivander said while looking for a wand.
"Here 10 inches made of Maplewood and dragon heartstring core." Ollivander said while handing me the wand.
I took the wand and swing it and after that some of the papers in the floor floated to the desk.
"Excellent Mr. Hoshimura the wand accepted you." Ollivander says while smiling, maybe because he never guesses it at the first try.
I looked at the wand and obviously I could use it since it was the effect of Royal Owner but…
"Mr. Ollivander, can I try another wand?" I said with a serious face expression in my face.
Ollivander just raised his eyebrow at looked at me. "And why is that Mr. Hoshimura?" asked the man quite curiously.
"It doesn't feel… right? I mean I can use the wand, but I feel that is rather... weak?" I said in all honestly.
"Mr. Hoshimura you must know the wand chooses the wizard not the other way." Ollivander said with a serious tone for the first time since we entered the store.
"But I will give you the benefit of the doubt" Said the man before looking again for another wand.
"Here 11 inches made of ash wood with phoenix feather core." Ollivander said and handed me the wand.
I took the wand and swing it again but this time some of the creates of the store levitated.
Everyone looked at me with surprised expression, well except for Gramps since he knew that something like that would happen.
"No, it still feels weak, can I try again." I asked since it didn't feel good enough, I mean I could use any wand if I wanted but if I had to use a wand in classes at the very least, I want to use one that I feel comfortable with.
This time Ollivander didn't say anything and started to look again but this time he went to the backside of the store as If he knew exactly what he was looking for.
It didn't take even a minute before he came back and showed the wand in question. "This wand is quite special, in my younger years before I inherited the store from my father I traveled around the world and in one of those I had the joy to be in the presence of a rather amicable thunderbird that gave me one feather of his tail." Ollivander said with his eyes closed and with a smile on his face. Most likely of him remembering the good old times. "I used Acacia wood since I liked to do experiments in my younger days making it a 12 inches wand, but sadly, I never found and owner after all these years but maybe…" He said while giving me the wand.
I took the wand and this one feels a lot stronger than the other ones for certain also I feel more compatible with this one.
This time I moved the wand a lot slower than the other two times and started generating small arches of lighting and I could not avoid grinning a little bit.
'Unlimited Power!' I thought to myself.
"This is the one" I said with a smile I turned to look at everyone and once again they looked at me with an unbelievable expression specially McGonagall, but Ollivander looked joyful.
"Excellent Mr. Hoshimura, Excellent." Ollivander smiled widely "Finally after all these years this wand finally found a worthy owner, I do not doubt that you will accomplish great things in the future"
'If only you knew Ollivander' I thought to myself "Thank you Mr. Ollivander and how much it would be?" I remember that Harry's wand cost around 7 galleons but I don't care about the money that much for the moment.
"It would be 7 galleons Mr. Hoshimura." Ollivander said.
In all honestly, I thought that it would be more expensive since the thunderbird in native from the United States, but I didn't question Ollivander.
"You did it again." Hermione said with a tired expression.
"Sorry, hahaha but in all honestly it wasn't un purpose" I said half lying.
"It would be concerning if you did all of this on purpose, but congratulations on getting your first wand."
"Thanks Hermione" I smiled at her. "Know is your turn, go for it." I cheered Hermione.

Like in the books and movies Hermione's wand ended up being a 10 ¾ inches wand made of vine wood and a dragon heartstring core. Hermione was delighted after getting her first wand and wanted to practice a lot of spells at home but sadly for her McGonagall explained that we could use our wands at home, making her a little bit down.
We ended the purchase of the school supplies rather fast after that and decided call the day but not before according meet in King Cross before we use the Hogwarts Express. McGonagall offered to take us home but Gramps and I refused since we needed to do somethings near by but the Grangers accepted.
'Eris bless their soul' I silently prayed since I knew that it won't be a pleasant trip. But after my prayer I felt little chills in my back. I looked everywhere but I found nothing.
'It must be my imagination' I said to myself. But unknowingly for me in this very moment Aqua was complaining a lot and Kazuma was laughing madly at her.
{Let's go to Gringotts again}
{So quick?}
{Yeah, I am rather curious of what is in the vault and if the professors at Hogwarts ask, I'll just wash my hands and say that I could wait since I was curious which is not a lie.}
We walked fast to Gringotts without distractions… okay I stopped a couple of time to buy some candys since I always wanted to taste the real ones I mean, who wouldn't? And after just 10 minutes we were outside of the bank and walked directly towards Brodob.
"Heir of Lucis Caelum greetings, I didn't expect you to come back so soon." Brodob said with a respectfully demeanor to de surprise of many seeing us.
"Well can you blame me? I am very curious about all this inherence thing" I said honestly since the goblins are cunning and would catch my lies quite easily.
"Very well please come with me to a more private room so we talk with… some nauseants trying to pry." Brodob said the last part with an annoyed tone.
"Please lead the way." I accepted Brodob propose.
It didn't took us long to reach one of the private rooms and it was quite fancy, but I expected it since I know how pretentious some wizards liked to be specially the 'pure blooded' ones. Brodob asked us to wait a bit inside since he needed to go for someone.
I didn't care too much and started to munch some of the candys that I brought previously with Gramps, some of them were quite delicious considering the ingredients that they were made of while others were disgusting as fuck.
After like 20 minutes or so Brodob entered the room with another goblin who was wearing a…. crown.
'Fuck this is bigger than I thought'
The goblin king grinned at looking at me and surprisingly at Gramps. "Greeting Heir of Lucis Caelum my name is Ragnuk the third, it is pleasant to finally meet some of your kind after so long." Said the goblin with some excitement in his voice.
I stood form the couch and made a little bow to the goblin king, "Greeting King Ragnuk, my name is Yozora Hoshimura the allegedly Heir of Lucis Caelum, it's an honor that the king of a nation took some of his time to meet a simple almost wizard like myself." I said in the most polity way I could since I didn't want to have a bad relationship with the king and owner of the biggest and apparently only wizarding bank in all the freaking world.
"It's an honor to be on your presence your majesty, my name is Lee Hoshimura and while I am not a Wizard myself I am the grandparent of little Yozora, but I must admit while I understand that somehow he became the heir of a 'noble house' in this society I am curious why the king of a nation would take some of his precious time to meet normal people like us." Asked Gramps like we accorded previously.
Ragnuk looked at us but instead of answering he started to…
"Hahahahahaha"
Laugh like a maniac…
"Regular normal you said, oh by my late father's name I haven't laughed this bad since I made that pretentious fool Malfoy lose a lot of money after he tried to take the Black's household some years ago" The goblin King laughed a little bit more before composing himself. "You my guest are many things but normal is not one of them."
I narrowed my eyes a little bit at his declaration. "What do you mean by that your majesty?"
The king in question grinned at me "Please heir of Lucis Caelum you can fool all the wizards and witches' idiots on Britain but you can not fool my eyes, but I can clearly see that you are much too my surprise a fine warrior a little bit green but a good one. But your grandfather? He is a monster that could kill us all if he wanted."
I very surprised at his words, to all the people we had met gramps looked like your everyday old man but he within seconds discovers it so I decided to drop my act. "How did you know?"
"Experience young heir, I lived for more than 200 years and with age you learn a thing or two, after all I am not a King for nothing." The gobbling king proclaimed.
"Ho, to think that some years of peace would make me lose my edge what a shameful display its seems that little Yozora it is not the only one who need training" Gramps said a little bit embarrassed after all I knew who he really was.
"Not at all Mr. Lee, I almost missed you, but your smell delated yourself" The goblin king explained to my surprise.
"Smell? Really?" I look at him rather confused.
"Yes, I must say that Mr. Lee could had fooled any other experienced goblin, but my nose is quite special and sensitive, and I can smell all the blood in his hands, so you can imagine my surprise while I see someone young as you with blood on its hand."
"And you are explaining us this because?" I asked since it made zero sense to explain us his way of knowing things and making him lose a potential advantage against us.
"Because it would change things for me. If you were just another stupid wizard, I wouldn't explain nothing to you and maybe take advantage of this to take some money or as a blackmail material for the future but since you are the heir of Lucis Caelum and a worthy heir by way. Also, if I made something as stupid as that the goblins would be no more so as a king, I have to take care of my people so this is just a little bit show of respect and sincerity." Ragnuk bluntly explained his reasoning.
"Both Brodob and yourself keep saying heir of Lucis Caelum this and that, but what supposed to mean?" I asked a little bit more informal than before since he doesn't seem to care.
"Please take seat both of you, we have a very long talk ahead of us." Ragnuk said with a crooked smile on his face.

At Hogwarts Headmaster room.
"Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore!" A raging woman screamed as she entered the room at an old man behind a desk.
"Minerva good to see you, lemon drop?" The man in question acted as if the woman wasn't screaming at him.
"Albus it is not the time for your nonsense, explain yourself!" McGonagall was not in a mood to play along his nonsense.
"If you may explain of what are you talking Minerva?" Asked Dumbledore a little bit taken aback at the reaction of his deputy headmistress.
"Did you how those awful muggles kept treating the son of Lily and James?" Asked the furious professor.
Dumbledore just sighed at McGonagall's words. "I assume that you meet the boy." Dumbledore answered without a shame making the already furious professor even more.
"SO YOU KNEW! In Morgana's name you promise me after those muggles broke the little boy arms those years ago that you would take the matter in your hands." McGonagall said with poison in her voice.
"Minerva the was nothing I could do, that house is the safest place for the boy." Dumbledore said trying to calm Minerva.
"Nothing you could do?" But the man in question splendidly failed. "You could had done a lot of things with those horrible beings, but you have the audacity to say to my face that you could do anything?" McGonagall said almost yelling at the man.
"Minerva you must understand they are his family he needs them." Dumbledore said in a calm demeanor.
But McGonagall snorted at Dumbledore's words "Family you said? They are monsters! So, you better do something about this OR I WILL!" Said McGonagall in a threatening tone.
Dumbledore sighed again at the woman treat. 'Why can't she see that this is necessary for the greater good, but now that the boy will come to Hogwarts so I can lose a little bit, after all the boy had the stick for quite a little bit of time so maybe it is time for a carrot' Dumbledore thought to himself. "Very well Minerva after the boy comes to Hogwarts I will that a more direct approach to make his house live easier, but I cannot take him away from them since they are necessary so the protection that Lily made keep working."
"You better do Albus" McGonagall accepted quite reluctantly since she knew about the protections and that was the only reason of why she allowed Harry being close of those waste of air.
"Good, now that this has been settle how are the kids that you took today?" Albus asked trying to change the subject of the conversation.
McGonagall knew what Dumbledore was trying to do, but she let it pass since she needed to talk about one of them. "Both of them are very polite kids and very curious about our world I have no doubt that they have a brilliant future ahead of them."
Dumbledore smiled at Minerva's words. "Good it is important to have new blood with us since they have the potential to change all the old-fashioned think of our society" This time Dumbledore said a little bit of truth since he personally didn't like the nonsense of blood supremacy but sadly it was a necessary evil for their society.
"Yes but it turned out that the boy Mr. Hoshimura wasn't a muggleborn but a half-blood. "McGonagall explained to the Headmaster.
"It is not quite difficult to believe after the rise of He-who-must-not-be-named many wizard and witches leaved or world behind to be safe of him and his followers and even after his downfall some of them choose to keep living with the muggles." Dumbledore said quite taken aback of McGonagall surprise since it was common knowledge to them.
"I know that Albus, but is not everyday that one turns out to be the heir of an ancient noble house." McGonagall said making Dumbledore to be quite surprised.
"And from what house is the boy heir of?" Dumbledore asked quite curiously since if was a good house, he could be a potential ally to the Light Side.
"I never heard of that house name, but Mr. Brodob said that Mr. Hoshimura was the heir of the Lucis Caelum house." McGonagall said trying to see if Dumbledore knew something about it.
After hearing the name in the outside, he looked as calm as always but from the inside he was having a mental breakdown. 'How is that possible that house should not exist anymore the last know living member was more than 300 years ago and that person didn't have family. This is not good not at all this could ruin all my plans.'
"I haven't heard of that particular house but I will make some research." Said Dumbledore lying to McGonagall.
"Good if you find something please tell me, maybe it could be beneficial to Mr. Hoshimura know about his family past." Said McGonagall leaving the office since she didn't want to talk with Dumbledore anymore.
After McGonagall leaved Dumbledore's office, he sighed after all that happened today.
"I must verify how this boy personality is and try to take it to my side since it would be troublesome if the Dark Side gets his hands on him, but if he turns out to be a bad apple, I will have to take care of him, after all is for the greater good."

Hello everyone I hope you enjoyed the chapter. Sorry for the late update but today or rather yesterday was the independence day of my country and I drank a little bit to much and endend waking up a little bit late hahaha.
Anyway our MC got his own wand but of course not without causing problems.... again. He also got to meet the goblin king that is more cunning that he gave him credit for but that is was to be expected after all he doesnt have many experience with other people and he finally would know about his "household".... in the next chapter.
And we have our favorite idiot of the greater good officially making plans againts out MC but who know what will happen in the future. I mean I know I write this duh, but you get me and I will not make spoiler.
