Chapter 35

When he enters the infirmary, he places the young girl on the infirmary bed and went towards Madam Pomfrey's room which is connected to the infirmary in case of some emergency. He stops in front of the door and knocks.

The door is open in a couple of seconds by Madam Pomfrey. She sees Harry Potter is in front of her door.

"What happened, Mr. Potter?"

In these 2 years, she knows that Harry Potter is a child who got injured very much and visit the infirmary more compare to any other child in their whole Hogwarts studies. She hears from Dumbledore that he tends to get in an accident easily when she first analyzes his body which is covered in bruises.

She tried to learn about the stuff but Dumbledore told he can't give her as many details as it is for the safety of Harry, she tried but failed every time.

"I want you to come with him."

He then takes Hogwarts Matron towards the young girl. When they went there she started to analyze her condition.

After the analysis is complete she goes out of the room and comes back with some potions. She pours the potions in her mouth.

"Is she okay?"

"She has a high fever and her ankle is injured, I give her the potion and she is going to completely heal in a few hours."

Harry then thanks Madam Pomfrey and started to go out of the room but Madam Pomfrey stops him.

"Mr. Potter, it is already past the curfew and I suggest you should stay here."

She generally hates it when students stay in the infirmary as it disturbs other patients but due to those vile creatures roaming around the Hogwarts at night, she said to rest in the infirmary at night.

Harry thinks that it is a good idea to sleep there today as he is already very tired and he doesn't know if he can face dementor if any show up. He didn't want to take any chances as he is prone to get in trouble.

"Ok"

Harry then went to the bed and lay down but before he lay down he remove his robs. When he is removing his robes his sleeves went upward which reveals a huge scar on his hand.

When Madame Pomfrey sees that she takes his hand instantly and started to analyze it and Harry is completely surprised as to what is going on.

It takes some minutes until she let go of his hand.

"Care to explain Mr. Potter. How you get this scar as I am feeling a poison in this scar with a phoenix tear."

Harry doesn't know if he can trust her or not but decided to tell her cause even if she tells it to Dumbledore, it is fine as he already knows about it.

"It is Basilisk poison which happens last year."

Madam Pomfrey looks frightened when she hears that the student is bitten by the Basilisk, she is also surprised as he is still alive.

"How come you are still alive after the basilisk bite and how come you come in contact with that creature."

"It is the creature which resides in Chamber of secrets who petrify all the students last year. I found the chamber and kill it with the sword of Gryffindor."

Her mind stops working when she hears that a 12-year kid killed a basilisk which is impossible to face even for the trained and experienced wizards.

She asked him to explain in full detail what happen and he tells her about all the events occur in the chambers. She then looks towards Harry and said.

"Mr. Potter, did you get treatment for the scar."

"No, it is already healed by the Fawkes so I don't think it required any additional treatment."

"You are right that nothing can heal wounds compared to phoenix tears but your arm still contain the venom in it."

This time it is Harry's turn to be shocked. His wound still contains venom but Andromeda has already checked the wound and tells him that everything is fine with it.

"But she tells me it is fine."

He says in a low voice but Madame Pomfrey hears it.

"It is good if any other person examines you if he or she is not experienced in the poison and venom department. I learn many things about venom and poison and can tell about even the slightest bit of poison if it is present there."

Harry hears her explanation carefully so that he doesn't lose any information.

"The poison is not harmful but it can drain your magical power slightly and your body consumes it so that it can fight back."

"Is there a way that I can remove it?"

"Yes, you can remove the poison, you just have to release as much magic you want and concentrate that on your arm."
