Kirei fell on one knee, his body was covered in blood mostly bullet holes and cuts. Kiritsugu and Irisviel also had injuries but nothing fatal and their breathing was only a little labored.

As they only took a single step forward.

Kirei:...You feel complete....Emiya...?

Kiritsugu stopped and looked at the downed man.

Kirei: You did not desire....completion Kiritsugu Emiya but....why...? why did it come to you who didn't desire it.

Suddenly Kirei's chest more accurately his tainted heart secreted black substance that was rapidly covering his body.

Kirei's entire form changed and became like a pitch black werewolf as he lunged towards the pair with significantly faster speed.

Kiritsugu was shocked by Kirei transformation but acted fast to move Irisviel out of Kirei way.

Time Alter: Double Accel

Manipulating his own body's timeframe Kiritsugu accelerated twice his speed and barely moved his wife and himself out of Kirei's way.

Kiritsugu: (He was fast before but now he can keep up with me even at Double Acceleration!)

Kiritsugu felt the strain on his body as Time Alter ended but he quickly brought out his Thompson Contender loaded with his Origin Bullet and took aim.

*BANG*

The bullet flew and hit "Kirei" squarely on his chest

But nothing happened!

Kiritsugu: (His body instantly broke down the bullet before my Origin could affect him!)

Kiritsugu's eyes widened but he tensed when he saw Kirei eerily chuckle and get ready to lunge at them, he was about activate Time Alter once again before--!

A golden light flashed past Kiritsugu and aimed at Kirei.

Kirei didn't dodge the Origin Bullet, even though it was an Anti-Magus and Anti-Magic weapon but when his instincts screamed at him to dodge but the suprise attack was sudden and the sword pierced Kirei's heart.

Kiritsugu/Irisviel: (Excalibur!!?)

Shiro: Try..hah.....eating that...hah

When Kiritsugu and Irisviel looked they saw Shiro with his arm outstretched but breathing heavily while Sweating.

Irisviel: Shiro!

Irisviel's motherly instincts triggered and she ran towards Shiro, she caught him before he fell, his Prana reserves were low but the main problem was that he was mentally fatigued as well as having his current low stamina that exhausted his body.

Shiro arrived when Kirei transformed, he knew that he didn't have the abillity to take Kirei head on but seeing that the substance he covered himself was similar to the Angra Mainyu black mud, he knew that Excalibur even in its current sealed state would be best to handle Kirei.

He summoned Excalibur but instead of charging at Kirei, he willed it to float like his traced weapons when he traced them in the air, after that he poured a considerable amount of Prana to the hit released it at once.

The sword flew when Kirei took the Origin Bullet and true to its claim as the Strongest Holy Sword...

Kirei's transformed body was jerking, while the Golden aura of Excalibur was destroying the black substance, Kirei's body once again became visible with Excalibur still impaled within him but suprisingly he was still alive.

As Irisviel was healing Shiro alongside Avalon, Kiritsugu made his way to Kirei and grabbed Excalibur at the hilt.

Kiritsugu pulled the sword out causing a gush of blood to flow.

Kiritsugu: Find completion in the Afterlife.....Kotomine Kirei

Kiritsugu swung Excalibur and beheaded Kirei causing a fountain of blood to gush out, even if Kiritsugu wasn't a swordsman, Excalibur was an extremely sharp sword that it would have virtually no resistance to cutting flesh.

Afterwards Kiritsugu went towards the unconscious Sakura and took her in his arms then went towards his wife and son, he didn't even have the energy to reprimand Shiro, Today was a tiring day and everyone just wanted to go home and rest.

Excalibur again dissipated in golden particles and flowed inside Shiro's chest, who could feel Excalibur's emotion and was sure that it was telling him.

"Please be less reckless next time (Sigh) but we are proud of you Master"

Shiro wryly smiled, they left the church after Kiritsugu took care of the body, he stealthily looked back and made eye contact with Gilgamesh who was wearing his casual biker clothes once again.

Gilgamesh was suprised seeing that Shiro's adoptive father was the same unsavory Magus in the last war, the only reason he didn't confront him was because of his respect for the young Emiya and even opened a Portal to use an Anti-Dark/Evil Phantasm to kill Kirei before Shiro beat him to it.

He was suprised seeing the sword of Artoria in the hands of the boy Acknowledging him as his second wielder, which caused him to smile seeing the boy's none ending amounts of suprises, never seeming to bore him.

Shiro/Gilgamesh: (Until next time)

They both gave eachother a nod of respect before simultaneously disappearing from the Church.

Shiro didn't know of Gilgamesh's life or experiences but his strenght gave him the right to be prideful and after spending time with Scathach and Merlin and hearing the stories they told Shiro could understand Gilgamesh's disdain and disappointment for the modern day Humanity who even though have technologically advanced themselves they have decayed in terms of mentality and honor.

Shiro on the other hand thinks that there is a unique beauty to each Era and Humanity was still redeemable.

Gilgamesh respected Shiro for his honorable and chivalrous attitude even after his tragedy as was as his Will to improve with his boundless potential which was unlike the failures of current humanity and it was because of him that he thought that the Era wasn't a complete waste of failures.

As Gilgamesh was about to leave the church, someone spoke.

Avenger: Hello again, King of Heroes.

Black mud seeped out of the ground and took the shape of a humanoid figure.

Gilgamesh sneered.

Gilgamesh: Such a disgusting creature, begone from your king's sight.

Portals opened behind him but Avenger eerily chuckled.

Avenger: Hohoho King of Heroes, I'm sure that you would like to hear my proposal.

Gilgamesh quirked an Eyebrow.

Gilgamesh: Speak! but if you waste my time....

Even more Portals opened.

Gilgamesh: The punishment is Death.
