Fate/Juggernaut

The Prologue rewrite is now out! Please remember that this is an A.U, and I am a brand new "author" as this is my first story. To preface this book, I would like to go over some things before we begin. Artoria will have her identity hidden from everyone, except Godrick (mc), Mordred, Morgan, Merlin, and Viviane. To make it easy on myself, she will be wearing her "Lion king armor", and her helmet will distort her voice, that way keeping her identity hidden. (Prologue) Another Major change that I'll be making is with Alaya, the Root, and Gaia. Alaya will be the collective consciousness of humanity (which is canon). But, in my story she will have more of a personality and ego, and will be subject to corruption through human emotions like Greed, Envy, Pride, and things like that. The Root will be a dormant consciousness meaning that it will be depicted as a female who runs the universe (kinda like toaa, or the presence from Marvel and DC) but is asleep for some unknown reason. Gaia is the will of the planet, that will do anything to survive. I know this might be contrary to Fate Canon, but I promise, it will work out! Please at least give it a chance! Other than a couple things here and there, I think I've covered most of the things that I've changed. Thank you so much for reading, and I hope that you enjoy my novel! In this novel, we will be introduced to a new timeline. A new Artoria who is a mixture of her Goddess Rhongomyniad "form" and the normal Artoria. As well as a new Britain. In this timeline, a new menace has risen to destroy the whole of Britain, and thus Artoria goes on a campaign of war to kill this new mysterious Warlord. In doing so, she reunites with her estranged sister Morgan, who has had a change of heart seeing the land she owns raped, burned, and pillaged. The two of them, though still cold towards each other, resolve their differences for the time being, though Morgan still seeks to usurp the Throne from Artoria for a while. Morgan conceives Mordred, but instead of a homunculus she is born as a human. The story begins when Artoria finds a strange young boy, having been chained to a large stone, and whipped by the Warlord. She takes the boy in, and raises him as her own alongside Mordred. This is his story. The story of Godrick, the Knight of Ruin. I do not own anything, or anyone from the animes, novels, or series that take place in this fanfic

===Jeanne===

As she stared at the Warlord who was taking her helmet off, Jeanne couldn't help but glare.

The Warlords stats were as follows.

Class: Berserker

Strength: D

Endurance: C

Agility: D

Mana: F

Luck: C

Np: EX

Np: Downfall of King and Country- Can activate enhanced madness when she sees fit, gains enormous boost to all stats. Able to spread poison, toxins, and fire across a wide area of effect with herself as the center. The more death and destruction she causes with said effects, the stronger she grows.

Skill: Runecraft- able to raise one stat depending on the rune she has equipped. Must power with human souls.

'This monster is useful for nothing other than killing the innocent.' Jeanne thought to herself as she continued to read this servant.

The Warlord was also able to coat her blade and talons in these toxins to poison her enemies, slowly killing them over the course of a fight.

Blitzing forward past Godrick, Jeanne used her lance to throw Igraine into the woods behind her, then quickly followed.

The Warlord smashed through multiple trees before coming to a stop. She quickly found her feet, just as Jeanne leaped into the air, and brought her lance down full force.

The Warlord, still recovering, put her sword between herself and the lance, letting it smash into her blade causing her to fall to her knee, completely obliterating the surrounding trees and foliage.

"Someone's unhappy!" She said, straining against Jeannes strength.

Jeanne said nothing as she grit her teeth and pushed down with her lance, causing the Warlord to buckle faster.

Their positions quickly changed however, as the Warlord's right knee gave out, and she fell to her right, causing Jeannes' lance to slide down her blade.

The Warlord used that moment to push up with her left foot, pushing past Jeanne before grabbing her by her hair, and throwing her farther into the forest.

Jeanne smashed through multiple trees before coming to a stop, rolling out of the way as Igraine appeared above her. The Warlord then landed right where she had been, cracking the ground.

Jeanne sweeped her lance around, striking Igraine's leg, and causing her to stumble before using the butt end of her lance to catch the Warlord by her back.

Jeanne then used all her strength to throw Igraine high into the sky.

She then leaped after her, twisting in the air as she appeared above the Warlord to smash her lance into her exposed back, throwing her into the ground.

Jeanne landed not far from her, and thrust her lance into the ground before running straight at her fallen foe, ripping through the dirt, roots, and anything else that would bar her way before throwing everything and anything that had been caught on her lance towards Igraine.

The Warlord let out a frustrated growl before lowering her head and letting the roots and rocks smack into her.

They didn't do much, but the dirt created a smoke screen that blocked her view.

It was torn apart as Jeanne reappeared, thrusting her lance towards the Warlord.

"ENOUGH!" Igraine screamed, a burst of energy thrusting her to her feet before she slammed her right foot onto Jeannes lance, burying it's head into the ground before lashing out with her taloned left hand.

Jeanne was able to dodge the sudden attack, but the trees behind her were severed into sections before being obliterated by the force of the attack.

She twisted, able to grab her lance with both hands and throw Igraine from her weapon before bringing it up to block the Warlords slash.

"My turn." The Warlord hissed venomously.

She knocked Jeannes' lance to one side before dragging her sword back and clipping the Ruler in the left shoulder, cutting through one of the chains used to hold her armor together before biting into her flesh.

She gave a pained groan as her vision blurred for a split second before regaining it. She twisted to her left, dodging another slash from Igraine before she lost her footing and fell to the ground.

"Wha-?" She said confused before rolling towards her right to dodge the Warlord's sword, which buried itself in the spot she had just been in.

She quickly got to her feet before whipping her lance up, and catching Igraine in the left arm, cutting up her bicep.

"You little BITCH!" Igraine roared as she pushed forward.

Jeanne was slowly losing her vision because of the poisonin her system, but she kept on the move, knowing she couldn't let the Warlord catch her.

She used her other senses to determine where the Warlord was before stabbing out with her lance.

She felt it rip through steel, then through flesh, and finally steel once more. She ripped her lance from wherever it had been stabbed before she twisted and brought her weapon down full force, smashing Igraine into the ground once more.

"God-rick." Jeanne said as she backed away from the Warlord, grabbing her head that was throbbing in pain before she felt his hand on her shoulder.

"I'm here." His deep voice reassured her before striking out with his foot, smashing it into the Warlords ribs. She flew farther into the forest while Godrick picked Jeanne up in his arms.

He gently carried her over to a larger tree that he used his halberd to cleave at the base before setting her down on it. After he did, he knelt down by her and looked at the wound on her shoulder.

"This might hurt a bit, my Lady." He said before sticking one of his left fingers into the wound.

Jeanne let out a quiet groan before pressing her forehead against his left forearm that was to the left of her face.

After a moment, Godrick pulled his finger from the wound before wiping it on the leather of his left leg.

Godricks brow furrowed as he looked at the wound that seemed to fester before his eyes. He couldn't absorb the poison for some reason, which perplexed him.

He was able to absorb the curse from Cu-Chulainns spear from his mother, but for some unknown reason, he wasn't able to do so with this poison.

Frustrated, he picked Jeanne up in his arms once again before bringing her out of the forest and handing her to his mother.

"She's been poisoned. For some reason I can't cure her of it." He said, fuming.

The Juggernaut turned around and put his helmet on before he turned to face the Warlord who was walking out of the forest.

"Oh my, am I interrupting something?" She asked mockingly.

"Oh please don't tell me you have feelings for that girl Godrick," She said.

"I don't think I could abide my adopted grandson being together with some French peasant."

Godrick said nothing as he clenched his fists and walked forward, intent on sending this bitch back to Alaya after finding out how to get rid of Jeanne's poison. For that is surely where Igraine came from.

"Hmm. Round three is it?" Igraine asked before twirling her sword.

"Very well." She said before a sickly black and orange aura started to seep from her as she activated her enhanced madness skill.

===Godrick===

Igraine raised her arms to the sky and let out a blood curdling scream that seemed to infect the surrounding area, turning the grass a dead yellow while the trees lost their leaves that shriveled as they descended to the ground. The trees themselves became dry and their branches started to break off before catching fire. Everything started to burn a sickly yellow as she walked forward, arms outstretched.

Godrick blitzed forward, throwing his right shoulder into Igraine's chest before she could react, throwing her dozens of meters away from the edge of the forest where the rest of the servants stood.

She crashed into the ground multiple times before slamming into a stone wall of a church.

Godrick appeared a moment later beside her and smashed his fist into her gut.

Bile leaked from the holes in her helmet as she bent over Godricks fist.

The Juggernaut grabbed her by her chest plate and threw her back into the wall, making her bounce back towards him before he hit her with one of his famous right haymakers, throwing her into the church.

She landed on her back, and stayed like that for a moment before rolling to her side and bracing herself with her left arm, looking at the hole there she had come through.

The church was dark, and the only light came through the hole that she had made when Godrick hit her.

But now all she saw was his glowing blue eyes under his visor as he stepped through the hole, lightning flashing behind him, making him look like some kind of reaper.

The furniture, cloths, and other things in the church started to rot and decay before catching fire, lighting the church in a dim yellow.

"You will tell me what you did to my Lady." His cold voice said before he popped his knuckles and cracked his neck from side to side.

Igraine's Enhanced Madness was still in effect, so she didn't feel fear or intimidation from the Juggernaut.

She slowly stood before she released a mad cackle, blitzing towards Godrick as her sword dragged behind her, creating sparks against the stone floor.

She whipped her blade up towards his face, but he blocked it with his left arm, throwing his right straight into her face.

She crashed against the far wall before getting back up and charging once more.

She leaped high into the air before bringing her sword down, but Godrick caught both her hands with his left hand before letting her dangle in the air.

"One way or another, you will tell me." He said before throwing his right fist into her chest hard enough to shatter her breastplate.

She went through the adjacent wall again, and like before, Godrick followed her out.

Blood was now leaking from her helmet as she got to one knee, using her sword as a crutch to help her.

"Stop the poison." Godrick said as he grabbed her by the leather jerkin she wore under her breastplate. He raised his fist into the air before hitting her in the helmet.

It crumpled under the force of the blow, and when she looked up at him, the left side of her helmet was deformed.

"TELL ME!" He shouted, grabbing her and striking her again.

She just let out blood filled chuckles as he continued to beat her, screaming at her for information.

Overcome with great anger, Godrick reached down and grabbed her by her left bicep, and snapped her arm at the elbow with his other hand before lifting her into the air, and bringingher down on hir right knee.

A loud 'CRACK' echoed through the area followed by a scream.

The Juggernaut pushed her from his knee, letting her fall the the ground in front of him.

She continued to choke on her own blood before Godrick came over to her and ripped her helmet off, exposing her gruesome face to the air.

Her face was a mass of blood, and her left eye was swollen shut. Blood leaked from her lips, but she still managed a bloody grin up at him.

Her aura dimmed considerably as she deactivated her Mad Enhancement, and her face scrunched in pain.

"The poison…" She said before giving a pained laugh.

"I can't stop it." She said before grinning.

Godrick grabbed her by the throat and shook her vigorously out of frustration, viciously squeezing as he did.

"You will speak plainly! NOW, TELL ME HOW TO STOP THE POISON!" He roared.

"I-, I-," She choked out, unable to speak.

Godrick struck her once more, sending her crashing to the ground as he let go of her, and started to slowly walk behind her as she started to crawl away.

"How pathetic you've become." Godrick scorned.

"Is this how you felt when I was a child unable to defend myself?" He asked, the phantom pain of the scars and brand on his back flaring for a split second.

Now beside her, he used his foot to unceremoniously roll her over before stomping on her chest, cracking the ground beneath his hated foe.

"Now tell me, how do I stop the poison?" He said, looming over her.

"You- can't!" She gasped out.

Godrick applied more pressure as he leaned down closer towards her.

"Once it's in her system, it will slowly kill her. It will take months, but she will die all the same." She said quietly.

Godrick stepped off of her grabbing her face with his left hand and hoisting her into the air and began squeezing.

"It has a strong initial reaction, but it will die down for a week or so before becoming strong again!" She screamed as she grabbed his arm before trying to pry his fingers from her head.

He obliged, letting her fall to the ground in a heap before summoning his massive halberd.

"If you can't stop it, then I guess you have no more use." He said coldly, raising his halberd above his head.

"Wait! Wait! I- I have more information about this timeline, and our roles here!" She said, holding up a hand to stop him.

He stopped, and lowered his weapon before speaking.

"Why on earth would I care? All I have to do is kill my Alter, and take the Right Hand of Ruin." He said.

"You foolish boy. Do you really think it would be that easy? What are you going to do? Cut your own arm off and replace it with the other?" She said, getting to her knees.

Godrick thought about it, and indeed, he had no idea how he would take the Right Hand of Ruin from his Alter. He just assumed it would work out in his favor.

"That's just like you. Charge headfirst into everything without a plan." She said scornfully.

"It hasn't let me down yet." He said, bringing his halberds blade down and tipping her head up with it, slowly pushing its sharp edge against her neck.

"Tell me, how do I acquire the other half of Ruin?"

"By devouring your Alter."

If you enjoyed this chapter, maybe consider leaving me with some of your power stones? I promise I'll take good care of them :)

Fun fact- most of you know that I want to turn this into a "multiverse" kinda story.

While writing this chapter, I had played with the idea of giving the Warlord the frenzied flame from Elden ring, as that's basically what I saw in my minds eye when she raised her hands and screamed.

I saw midra lord of frenzied flame raise his hands and let out that kinda roar in the beginning scene of the new boss fight in the dlc.

I decided that it wouldn't work for obvious reasons, but I think that would be an interesting omake to have the Warlord in elden ring and become the lord of the frenzied flame.

Obviously, she doesn't have the frenzied flame, but just imagine that kind of sickly yellow color for the flames!
