And Thus... I kindly Scatter.

Soul.

What is a soul? Admittedly many people have their views on what is a soul. As such I'm intitled to my own option as well, I don't believe in such thing as a 'soul' I mean like I will only believe it if I saw it with my very own eyes.

I mean I have my own opinions on what a 'soul' is. Majority of people thought that a soul is their very being, that white milky thing in your body, I can't help but shake my head when they say that. Mortal and humans such as us doesn't have the mental capacity to comprehend and understand the soul, thus we came up with theories— Wild theories at that—

I may be wrong, but mehh

I think that the soul is only the mind and the subconscious —memories, subconsciousness and the awareness of your very being—

After all

If a soul is given another being's memories rather than their own, would they be the same soul?

If a soul is in another being's body with memories of the previous body intact, would they be the same person?

In the end, if you retain your awareness of self. It doesn't matter how many memories you consume and it certainly doesn't matter how many bodies you change. As long as your subconscious and Awareness doesn't disappear in the chaotic sea.

In some religion I forgot the name of, there exist something called a soul resonance—Im not very good at remembering things— the things is, it says that people may have the same soul, similar soul so it is possible for those people to share their memories— The World can't go any crazier than this, right?—

Of course if you watch animes and movies in the likes of harry Potter and Fate series they will tell you different things. As my state —More like a random thought— earlier people have their views on the soul if we start to wanting to comprehend the soul we'll take a long time.

But I disgress.

Oh by the way my name was Ethen Rampedi, an a African Name and yes I was a male despite my name.

And yes emphasize on was.

After all its not every day that you died and lived to tell the tale.

        ——————————————————————————

Ethen was a weird child growing up , not rediculous things like being a super genius — he is slightly above genius level—or a man child —mature unlike his peers— He's childish alright, like any other children, cruel and innocent. But there's this aura around him that reeks nerdy and all types of weirdness.

It wasn't until his father died that his mother realized just how odd her child is.

It wasn't until he reached his teen —13 yrs at most— that his mother realized just how abnormal her child is.

Exaggerating? Yes. But not so much.

After all it isn't every day that a child is oddly fascinated in matters of death and the mind.

                                   —×—

Ethen knew he isn't 'okay' in the head. Well, more like his EQ is stunting his growth. He's more logical than a ordinary human being and he has common sense. Something that majority of the world can't claim to have. Ironic that it's called common sense yet it's not Common at all.

At 13years old his father died, many would think that he would cry, brawl like a teen he is.

Oddly enough he didn't cry, he didn't even shed a single tear. His small EQ striking yet again.

That doesn't mean he doesn't love his father, no.. he love his father but the tears won't come.

The pain inside him was dull, he felt pain alright. but it is dulled, it isn't the sharp, chocking pain that he had heard about.

He just stood there as his father's coffin was lowered in the grave, face empty of tears or any kind of emotions beside curiosity.

And the only thing in his mind was only two questions.

Why do people fear death? personally he doesn't think it is that terrifying. You just die, that's it. No complicated things, you die.

When people died, where do they go? Almost all religions in the World have their views on their 'Afterlife'. Some say we go to Heaven or Hell, Some say we'll reach enlightenment, Another group says they'll be nothing, only chaos. Anothe— You get what I'm saying bruv?

Anyway Those were his current thoughts at that time

                                      —×—

Ethen grew up interested in psychology and as soon as he entered university he studied it like a dying mans last wish.

He loves psychology really and the class that was assigned to him was a den to manipulation— no it's not, Ethens weird like that—

It was like that one class in harry Potter series, Slytherin if he remember correctly.

I mean if you're in a class full of people who can manipulate someone without them knowing is scary as fuck. But the class teacher forbidd the students for messing with their own classmates, she was a such bore, it would've been cool manipulating each other. one wrong mistake you would've been blackmailed, bribed, intimidated, manipulated, even good old reverse psychogy would leave you sobbing when the snakes are done with you.

But he managed to graduate and be a psychotherapist, not the thing he was aiming for but meh. It is fun messing with your patients. He really is sick in the head if he's enjoying others suffering but he can't help it— Inside of him, Ethen knows that he's only enjoying it because he's envious of people having the capacity to display their emotions while he's emotional stunted— listening to your patient own problem got him grinning with sadistic glee everyday. But it got boring really fucking fast, he got disappointed when he no longer got the same feelings when seeing suffering of others, only cold indifference.

His life isnt really that interesting. He likes very few things, his wife, children and his favourite fruit, Green Apples. He Likes green apples, they're so delicious and fruity. And just thinking of eating one makes his stomach growl in protest. The sharp taste of the apple entering one's mouth is like heaven on earth.

At 23years old he got married to his naive, malleable, intelligent wife. Bought his favourite car and house, life was really great .

At 27years old got to see his very first child being born, he named him Miyuki, a Japanese name, not weird considering he's half- Japanese.

Miyuki means silence of the deep snow, he named him that because he and his wife likes silence, they're not anti social or any bull like that, no they like to just. ...sit there cuddling enjoying the silence, lost in thoughts.

At 32 years he welcomed his first princess in the world, this time his wife named the child, Innocent, a really cute name if he says so.

At 35years old he took the pen and begin to write short stories and poems, with his intelligence it was not really a difficult thing to do.

He likes free verse the most when it comes to Poems. It doesn't restrict him.

At 45yrs old He won the grammy Awards for being the Best Selling poet.

At 71 yrs old was the day he died.

Car accident is what killed him, really not the best way to die but we don't always choose when we die or born so it's really not that big problem.

Ethen sighed as he lay there, underneath his car.

For a moment he feels what his body is doing, his arms and legs impaled with glass, his lungs inflating and deflating struggling to feed him the last oxygen his lungs currently have in this world.

He sighs softly, thinking how he's going to die alone, oddly he feels calm about death that loom beyond the horizon—Looking back to it, being emotional stunted has its own benefits and disadvantages, but at that very moment. He's glad that he isn't going to die terrified— He shivers as chill winds and death work hand in hand in an unlikely union. 'How ironic' Ethen thinks as the last dregs of his life slipping through his fingers.

'I didn't finish my poem series ' He thought. his wife will take care of the kids and herself, she's strong like that, still he feels like a jackass going and dying leaving all the work to her and his eldest child. But it's not like he can do anything either.

Ethen sighed again, his been doing that a lot lately. He looks at sky, blue without clouds and he thinks about his wife and children.

He breathe one last time before his body shut down entirely, eyes dropping.

" Thus I kindly scatter"

That was his last words to the world he's leaving behind. Quoting the words of his favorite poem. He died like any Poet should, leaving behind a legacy for his Family. A foundation for the world to build on, to advance through his works.

Ethen had done all he can and he's satisfied by what he had done. He doesn't have any regrets or anything.

He had lived his life, now.....it's your turn.
