Gilgamesh was happy with collecting another treasure and adding to his collection as he willingly let himself fade away as the will of the world called for his help. It needed his help and he would accept for the reward of true incarnation and favour of the world.
He would have to cement humanity's future again in a battle against the gods. While it was a parallel universe he still was the King of Heroes and the wise king no matter which parallel world. He would not allow humanity to perish, for that case he would gladly fight a god again for they will know of his glory.
He opened his eyes only to see a black haired woman with a strange head piece. His eyes gleamed red as he received the needed information.
A small being was announcing the opponent from the side of the god's. The black haired woman was shocked as she never expected anything like this to happen. She had called for and hoped for Buddha to help humanity. Yet Buddha was shocked as he was shifted out of the way as he made way for the king.
The whole of humanity waited with their breath held as a blond figure with red eyes walked out. The small figure was shocked "Huh? Who's this fighting for the humans?"
Gilgamesh smirked as his voice rang throughout the whole colosseum "I am the wise king of Uruk, King of Heroes, Linchpin of Heaven, King of Uruk, King of Babylonia, The Golden King. My story told throughout the ages, my feats spread throughout the world I cemented humanity's advancement and independency from the gods."
Most of humanity had figured out who this was.
"I am Gilgamesh, The King of Heroes!"
"Engrave this sight into your heads. Mongrels!"
Gilgamesh looked at the seven gods before laughing "Very well, It seems like an even fight now. Seven on one is an appropriate performance."
Gilgamesh stood proud as the turban fluttered with the wind soon the seven gods merged into one as he gave applause. "What a wonderful show, are you perhaps the god of jesters?"
"I am Zero. I'm going to kill you!"
Gilgamesh laughed "Very well, you will serve to show my magnificence."
Zero produced a disgusting axe from his back as Gilgamesh looked in disgust. Brynhildr shouted at Gilgamesh "Don't you need a divine weapon? Volund?" Gilgamesh's laugh rang throughout the whole arena.
"Who do you think I am fool?"
Zero charged at Gilgamesh who had his hands outstretched as a golden axe appeared. Their axes collided causing a huge wind to blow dust everywhere.
Gilgamesh retreated before laughing "Very well. Gate of Babylon!"
All of humanity witnessed hundreds of golden ripples in the air. Each weapon that emerged was a noble phantasm each had its own sublimated legend and history. Zero's face contorted in anger and misery as he yelled "Begone from my sight!" Gilgamesh shook his head "That's my line mongrel."
The weapons flew at incredible speeds as Zero did his best to deflect all of them. Gilgamesh observed the battlefield with a calm analysis as the weapons continued to launch automatically at Zero.
Zero soon begun to despair even more as Gilgamesh continued to avoid his attacks. Buddha watched as Gilgamesh dodged ever single attack. It was similar to his Eighth Consciousness yet he didn't have to wait, he simply moved in a natural manner as if everything was planned.
Buddha quickly looked for the Epic of Gilgamesh before laughing. "Eyes that see the future itself." Gilgamesh continued avoiding yet Zero's despair grew until he could take it no longer. The horns dug into his skull as he started screaming much to Gilgamesh's displeasure in hearing the scream.
What came was Hajun. Gilgamesh laughed until he coughed out blood and almost collapsed. All of humanity gasped as the King had almost fallen down. Yet his body stopped falling as he balanced himself on one leg.
Gilgamesh for the first time in a long time felt anger, he was not that petty as his past self but he had his pride as the King of Heroes and if he were to fall down he would be showing his weakness to all of humanity.
Gilgamesh lifted himself back up as blood dripped from his side. All of humanity expected him to be concerned about his injury yet all that came out of his mouth was "You tried to make me kneel? I am a king! I'll not kneel to any person or god!"
A stone tablet appeared in his hands as he glared at Hajun.
"Witness the power of mankind's legends and feats Hajun."
What happened next could only be described by the humans as so beautiful and moving. The King's charisma was overwhelming as they started cheering for him.
A gigantic and beautiful spectral fortress wall appeared behind the king. The table floated as runes circled around the king.
"By my order, ready the arrows!"
"Use my treasures to show them the power that protects Uruk!"
"My resolve shall flood the earth!"
"Melammu Dingir!/The King's Signal Cannon!"
All at once the cannons on the wall fired as they flew into the sky before completely decimating the arena as dirt and dust flew up clouding everyone's vision.
Hajun kneeled on the ground unable to stand after being hit by multiple rank D broken phantasms. He could collect more lower rank noble phantasms later. Normal weapons wouldn't work against gods but it was different when the weapon was a noble phantasm with mystery and legends behind it. It was no longer a simple man made weapon.
Gilgamesh walked in front of Hajun before the golden ornate axe appeared in his hands once again.
"By the King's royal authority i sentence you to death."
The axe swung as blood flew into the air as it glimmered with the golden axe as Hajun's head was cut off as it fell to the ground.
Gilgamesh stood tall as he gazed at the people cheering for him before giving a rare smirk. Gilgamesh had one more scare to give the gods.
"Hear me oh gods!"
Every god looked at Gilgamesh in contempt.
"Cease your folly! Mankind will continue on until the land of steel otherwise I'll wipe this place of the map as well as you all."
The gods jeered at him while Gilgamesh snorted in laughter as it rang throughout the whole colosseum.
"Fuhahahah! You think I'm joking?"
A key blade appeared in his hand as he seemingly inserted it into the air, the one weapon in the Gates of Babylon that was locked. He turned the handle as the gods watched as thousands of red lines launched themselves into the air in a labyrinth pattern before coalescing into a 3d representation of the globe as it rose to reveal a sword.
No, it couldn't be called a sword, a black drill like blade covered with red lines with a spiral tip. The sword was there to witness the truth. It was there when the earth was but a molten rock.
The gods all shivered when they gazed upon the weapon.
Gilgamesh looked at the gods before speaking. "Ea, the Sword of Rupture, The Star of Creation, the sword which separated the heavens and the earth, the sword where the concept of hell came from.
"If you wish to continue your folly against the works of the king I'll have to teach you a lesson using the truth of the world."
"I'll give you until Ea is fully awakened to make your decision. Hands up if you wish for humanity to live."
The gods quickly started scurrying around trying to make a decision.
"Awaken Ea, a stage worthy of you has been set!"
The three sections of the sword slowly begun to spin as the gods became even more horrified now that they could feel the energy behind that sword.
Hand started to slowly raise as Gilgamesh watched as a majority still needed more convincing.
I shall perform this final blow as a parting gift to you!"
The sword began to spin even faster as red wind and energy strips started coalescing.
"I will tell you of the beginning. Heaven and Earth split, nothingness congratulated creation, my Sword of Rupture cleaved the world!"
Gilgamesh raised the weapon high into the air as the red strips of energy generated by the spinning sections started gathering and condensing at the tip.
Many gods flung their hand up at the sight in fear.
Gilgamesh smiled "It seems we've come to an agreement then."
Ea stopped turning as it slowly dimmed before returning back to the gate.
Gilgamesh watched as he started fading away.
He turned to all of the humans.
"My job here is done, spread tales of my battle and magnificence!"
"Farewell, the future is in your hands! Stand proud!"
All of humanity stood up before bowing and shouting.
"YES YOUR MAJESTY!"
