Fuyuki City.

The City where the ritual of the Grail War had taken place three times before it was destroyed by the Master chosen for the fourth war, Kiritsugu Emiya and his wife Irisviel Von Einzbern.

They had used their connections to slowly weaken the Einzbern family and had them attacked from all sides by their foes before striking the final blow themselves, ending the reign of the family and securing a happy life and future for their daughter.

But,

Are things really that simple?

Deep within the mountains of Fuyuki city, the center of the Fuyuki Laylines, Exists an entity born from the mistakes of the Einzbern family during the Third Holy Grail War.

And it is definitely not happy about what Kiritsugu Emiya has done to its vessel.

But just like any other evil entity in existence, it has found a way to circumvent its current imprisonment.

A way known as,

The Class Cards.

Fuyuki, Emiya Household.

In the peaceful mansion that housed a family of 6, a young man with crimson hair and golden eyes can be seen cooking in the kitchen.

Soon, a young woman with white hair and red eyes walked into the kitchen and had an exasperated expression on her face as she stared at the boy who was making his way around the kitchen in an expert way.

"Honestly Shirou, why do you always steal my job from me every morning?" she asked as the young mand turned towards her and gave a smile.

"I like to cook, Sella, besides, I promised Illya that I would cook her lunch for today," he said as the maid sighed and stared to help the young man cook despite his protests, he eventually gave up as he allowed her to do as she pleased.

(POV Shirou)

I sighed as Sella forcefully divided the work between us and left me with no choice but to comply.

Honestly, at this point, she and Leystritt had ended up more like his elder sisters than the maids they were supposed to be, but I have no complaints about it.

After all, this daily banter is one of the few normal things left in my life.

'Sigh'

I barely suppressed the sigh from escaping.

It was only a few months ago that I would have had no care in life, I would have been having a great time cooking, going to school, looking after my little sister, worrying about my grades and leading a normal life.

Until I was forcefully pulled into the moonlit world all because of a single card I had found on my way home from school.

At first, I had thought that it was just a normal playing card that someone had lost, I still don't know why I decided to take it home, but that is a decision that I both hate and love at the same time.

Ever since that day, I started to have strange dreams every time I slept.

I dreamt of myself, living with Kiritsugu with both mom and my sister along with our maids missing, I dreamt of Kiritsugu dying, I dreamt of Illya's homeroom teacher, Fujimura Taiga being my guardian, I dreamt of me taking up Kiritsugu's ideals.

I dreamt of Magecraft.

I dreamt of a War between legends.

I dreamt of love between myself and a certain Tsundere.

I dreamt of selling my humanity.

I dreamt of being a slave for Eons.

I dreamt of a hill in a world of infinite swords.

When the dreams finally stopped after a month and a half, I finally realized that what I was seeing was the life an Alternate me, living a life worse than hell, all because of his own ideals that forced him on a self-destructive path.

It was on that day that I finally decided, that I would never end up like that Counter Guardian who is nothing but a broken man.

But thankfully, I did not need to walk the same path as him, for I have a loving family that would prevent me from becoming him, but it was also these dreams that forced me to face the reality.

The reality that we live in a world where there is danger at every turn, the danger that can take the form of anything and everything, and I am hopelessly outgunned in this situation, completely powerless to protect those I hold dear.

That was why I willingly threw away my normal life in exchange for learning everything I can about magecraft and the moonlit world from the memories of my counterpart, all of his skills would become mine, I would learn from his strength and would learn to negate his weaknesses.

But there was one thing that had always been a cause of concern for me, the origin of the card that held Heroic Spirit EMIYA.

Even when I had tried to use Tracing on the card, I was never able to truly understand it's history, I could easily understand its function and its purpose, but never it's origin or point of creation.

"Shirou, you are spacing out again"

I was jolted out of my thoughts by Sella's voice who was staring right at me.

"h-hehe, I guess there is a lot of things on my mind," I said, trying to cover my thoughts.

"It seems you are spacing out a lot recently, even lady Illya has started to notice it is becoming worried"

I fell silent as another memory came flooding into my mind.

A hulking man with bronze skin, constrained in chains coming out of golden ripples,

A little girl in a purple dress with hair as white as snow and eyes as red as blood, staring fearfully ahead.

A man with golden hair and equally red eyes, staring mockingly at the girl as he cruelly destroyed her eyes and stabbed her through the chest.

I shook my head as I forced a smile on my face.

"Don't worry Sella, I am fine"

'I will never allow anything like that to happen to Illya or any other loved one of mine, even if I have to drown this world in an ocean of blood'

I swore in my heart as I watched Sella shake her head and head out of the kitchen.

This was another problem I had found out recently.

Due to the sheer difference in my ideology and my counterpart who became Counter Guardian EMIYA, I am not able to manifest Unlimited Blade Works. At least, not as it is now.

It was only a few weeks ago that I realized that I was starting to develop a reality marble of my own which was similar and yet different from Unlimited Blade Works.

However, it would take a long time for it to become something concrete unless something serious happens.

"Sigh, let's just hope that nothing like that happens"

Clocktower, London.

"Lord El-Melloi, we have grave news to report," a man said towards the lord of the clocktower who assisted the great Wizard Marshal.

"What is it?"

"Our sources have indicated that the anomaly in Fuyuki had expanded, instead of 7 cards, we now have confirmation that there are now 14 cards in existence including the ones we have with us"

Waver Velvet's face paled as he imagined the repercussions of fourteen anomalies messing with Fuyuki's leylines.

He massaged his temples as he thought about how he was going to inform the Wizard Marshal about this new development, he then looked towards his assistant who was fidgeting in his place.

"What?" he said in a stern voice.

"W-Well, I have something else to tell you as well, It seems that this new set of cards is even more powerful than the ones we have encountered so far, according to the amount of mana that these cards are absorbing, we estimate that these new anomalies are twice as strong as the previous anomalies"

'By the root, things are starting to get very messy'
