Chapter 1

December 21, 1913.

A small, but powerful nation located in the middle of the South Pacific Ocean near the South Pole has been living in a golden era for hundreds of years. Their Neutral disposition towards all nations was brought about by their first leader, whom past down the mantle to their son when they died.

At least, that was the story.

The truth behind the nation was simple. Areth had lived a long time, constantly dying of old age, and having his body reverse to his younger stage. After so many generations of fighting, learning, and such, the man was at a point where he thought of the world like a game.

A small island he created turned into a country, then gained some small villages, then a kingdom, until it found itself in the 1900s.

Areth had lived since 2000 BCE, yet his attitude towards life, and such had not changed at all, if anything, they only solidified as he dealt with many different sorts of Gods, Mages, and Cunts, gaining a rather extreme title from those who had lived up to this point.

The Chaos God

Such a title was fitting for him, as he relaxed in his throne, listening to the chirps of birds outside his throne room. The land he had created, rather, the nation he had formed was called Auroa. Its resources were quite literally limitless. With its unique landscapes that ranged from tall, snow-covered mountains, to dense, luscious rainforests, Aurora had a lot to offer its people.

With such positive reputation, one would think that many other nations would try to lay claim to such a isolated country, which of course was accurate to some degree.

"My Lord, the United States of America wishes to annex us, again..." An older gentleman reported, keeping a neutral tone as he told Areth the news.

"Tell them 'No. Go fuck yourselves.' It's the fifth fucking time in less than two years," Areth, said with a rather uninterested sigh. Such was the life of a ruler such as him. Many offers had come and gone, yet none remained as long as the United States.

He could not bother to concern himself with said country. No, he was far too busy preparing his subjects for what was to come in the next four years.

World War 1. "That'll be a spectacle to involve myself in," he commented to himself, however, it wasn't the war itself that he was interested in, rather a woman who would partake in said war.

The Angel of Crimea. A Maiden, whom Areth genuinely respected, of course, that was from the information in his world, but in the Fate world, she was someone worth respecting even more.

Yes, such a woman made Areth's thoughts a bit more chaotic than they'd usually be... In a good way.

"God, it's been awhile since I've felt such a way." The sound of a knock at the front entrance of Areth's throne room awakened him from his thoughts. "Come in."

Four men walked inside, each dressed in an olive drab military uniform, consisting of a button-up military blouse, trousers, and a Patrol cover. "Ah, look at those fine uniforms you've got on. You four must've put some effort into prepping them for this moment, ey?" Areth praised, before standing up from his throne.

"Pardon our intrusion, My Lord. We have come to update you on the progress of Project Rust Buckets," one of the soldiers said, quickly saluting in-synce with the other three soldiers. "Well, at ease. How goes our endeavors, boys?"

The four dropped their salutes, before quickly withdrawing papers from their breast pockets. "With the performance we're currently at, we can expect all Gorgon-Class Battleships to be fully constructed in two years time, which puts us two years ahead of the deadline," the soldier informed, before taking a step back, allowing the next soldier to speak.

"With those Battle Ships completed, we will be able to allocate more hands towards the completing of the seven Carriers, and forty Submersible Vessels you've ordered."

Areth nodded his head, smiling in satisfaction with the progress. "Good, but remember, there is no need to rush these things. The priority of these vessels is to be sturdy, reliable, and long lasting."

The soldier nodded, before taking a step back like his predecessor did.

The next soldier quickly began reading off the paper he had. "The parents for the M14 were successfully copyrighted, alongside the uhh... 'MSN' Scout Rifle. We have nearly two million in production for the M14, and five hundred thousand for the MSNs," the soldiered reported, before following up with a question. "I hope this isn't out of line to ask, My Lord, but... Why have we been producing so much weaponry these past two years?"

"Because a war is around the corner, and whether we like it or not, we're going to be involved in it," Areth casually revealed. "Someone is going to be assassinated, which will cause a war in Europe, a country is going to send Submersible Vessels to interfere with our daily lives, and all that, so I figured we'd better prepare ourselves properly."

Areth looked at the last soldier, before smiling. "I know you're here to report about the Tanks, huh? Don't worry, I already drove one of them earlier. All four of you have done good jobs in your fields. Expect a reward once the tasks I've given you are complete. For now, I'm going to go visit an... Acquaintance."

His movements were swift, yet smooth as he exited his own throne room, leaving the four soldiers behind. The moment he was out of sight, he activated magic, quickly disappearing through a portal.

London England. Near the Clock Tower.

"London sure is ugly. I can't imagine why they would center the clock tower here." The smell of the city was awful, a result of the shitty sanitary conditions, and lack of proper maintenance.

Areth walked down the cobbled sidewalk, brushing past the regular people of England, until he came across the front entrance of the Museum. "No matter how much time passes, or what reality I enter, the fucking Brits still steal everyone else's shit."

He walked through the museum, a smirk plastered on his face as he shattered various display cases. The various employees at the Museum quickly ran over to the shattered displays, seeing that the artifacts behind them had disappeared, all while Areth happily hummed a small tune as more and more priceless relics disappeared from the Museum.

Eventually he reached the front entrance of the Clock Tower, seeing two tall, bulky men in suits guarding the front entrance.

"Have you ever heard the tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise?"
