Sparring with Butler

"Valkenhayn prepares suitable nourishment we have a guest" is what I heard when I exit the portal.

I briefly saw an old man dressed as a butler before he becomes blurred.

'He moves so fast.'

'Is this inside of some kind of a castle? Moreover, it has a kind of Halloween theme in its'

I look around a bit and I saw Rachel approach a table with a single chair that was empty but then the fast old man was already back and placed the snack on the table.

She walks to the opposite side of the chair.

"Please sit down, Mr. Kaito," Rachel told me as her umbrella transform into a chair and she sit on it.

I quietly do as she says and sit on the opposite side.

"Gii pour the drink on mine and Mr. Kaito's cup"

Her flying red familiar picked up the drink and poured it into Rachel's cup and mine.

She drinks it first and I drink it after her.

"This is good" I compliment it.

I don't need to worry about the poison or something like that since I have Avalon inside me.

"Of course, it is. Now Mr. Kaito can you explain your origin?" Rachel asked.

"So you know I am not from this world?"

"Yes your presence is unique as I have never seen it"

"Maybe this will make it easier since you seem to know about another world"

I am then explaining the basic of Magic known as Kaleidoscope which allow the user to travel to another world. Then I told her about my teacher that send me here to learn, and the reason he send me here in this world was that I believe he knew this world is safe for me. Probably because he already visit this world.

"I see, so you are here because your teacher is to learn of this magic 'Kaleidoscope'. Magic that allows the user to travel to another world huh? Interesting, So what is your Teacher's Name?"

"His full name is Zeltrech Schweinorg"

"Hmm... Zeltrech Schweinorg I can't say I have ever heard his name, and he probably also already visited this world in the past, Valkenhayn you recognize the name?"

I looked toward the butler and knew he is dangerous and powerful.

It is possible currently Teacher is watching, so if it becomes dangerous maybe he will interfere.

"Understood my lady, Follow me, Mr. Kaito" Thr Butler led me out of the castle to an empty Garden

I look around a bit and am finally able to look at the full-scale castle.

Just like the inside the outer design is also Halloween themed. Then a portal opened up and Rachel came out, she approached a single table not far from us, and once again her umbrella transform into a Chair, then her other familiar appeared from the portal carrying a teapot and a cup.

"Here we will begin our 'Spar' Mr. Kaito"

"In here? Is it really fine? The flower will get destroyed?"

"No need to concern yourself about that Mr. Kaito, now prepares yourself" Mr. Valkenhayn takes a stance and I take my stance which is my counterpart uses the Martial lord Houchiro Hazuki.

'Since this is only a 'Spar' I want to try to use this opportunity to 'Study' My counterpart skill. And because my opponents seem barehanded fighters I also can use this to strengthen myself.'

Then a single flower petal suddenly appeared between us and slowly fell.

The moment it touch the ground I hardened myself with lightning flames and as expected Mr. Valkenhayn is already moving and his speed is too fast, I barely follow it.

I do a double-hand guard pose in front of my face, as he aimed at my chin.

"Ho go you immediately block your chin, good thinking" He commented, and I do try to counterattack by swinging my leg at his side which he blocked with one arm.

He does the same by doing a kick at my side, and for a moment I saw his feet transform and has sharp claws. I block it with my forearm and flew back a few meters, I landed on my feet and saw my forearm bleed a little but my Avalon quickly healed it.

"Interesting, a regeneration? Moreover, your hardening ability is quite something as my claws are only able to graze it lightly."

As he said that he already move again.

And he was already in front of me again and I barely block myself from his feet and claws and send into the air.

I was surprised and can't defend myself from his air combo attack until he throw me into the ground.

I do a flip myself just as he comes down and successfully kicks his body away from my flip.

Ignoring my regenerating wounds I charge at him and do a low kick which he dodges by jumping over it and I take the opportunity to send a combo punch at him which he blocks all of them.

Then I do a kick beneath his arm which successfully break his guard and do another kick with my other leg and send him into the air.

Then I land a powerful punch that sends him flying a little.

"Impressive movement" Commented Mr. Valkenhayn as he dusted himself off.

And charged again with a kick at my right side which I blocked with my right hand but to my surprise, he use that as leverage and do another kick with his other leg.

But I dodge it by jumping back, making his attack fail and fall to the ground.

He then uses his hands in the round to throw his body and do a flying kick at my body which once again turned into claws.

I meet it in my two hands and both of us are thrown back a little because of it.

"Hahaha! What a counterattack, this is the first time someone try to meet my kick with their own hands" Mr. Valkenhayn laughed a bit, and sure enough, his kick is very strong and my hands get broken by it.

"Hmm, shall we stop?." He asked as he saw the condition of my hands.

But to his, surprise it healed just after a second.

I clenched my hands for a moment.

"No, we will continue" I charge at him with a punch

He merely grinned and block it with his feet.

After that, we continue our sparing for a long time.

*Hours Later.

"Ding!Ding!" We suddenly heard a bell sound and Mr. Valkenhayn's savage visage was erased from his face he stopped our spar and look toward where the bell was from I followed his gaze and saw it was Rachel who has a small bell in her hand.

"Ah, I got carried away, I am sorry my lady," said Mr. Valkenhayn as he bowed a bit.

"It's fine now it's almost time for lunch so prepare it and prepare for Mr. Kaito as well" Rachel waved off his apology.

"Come sit down Mr. Kaito" I heard Rachel and saw her gesturing at the chair opposite her side.

I approached it and sit on it.

"Gii pour Mr. Kaito a drink"

I thank the familiar and drink it.

"Can I call you Kaito? In return, you can just call me Rachel"

I nodded not bothered by it

I pulled it out but how am I supposed to play it I don't have a TV and DVD to play it.

Suddenly a portal appeared near me and a box with a note above it.

"What is that?" Rachel curiously asks but I can see a bit of wariness in her expression.

"It's the device to play this" I pointed at the CD and then started opening the box and saw a rather flat TV panel attached below it is the DVD player + Remote that functions on both of them.

I tapped my foot and create a big enough table to fit the TV and DVD size and put it there.

I activated the TV and the DVD and sure enough, they powered on even without electricity.

'So Kaleidoscope also can do this... That explains a bit about Sapphire.'

I opened the CD case and pick it up and put it on the DVD and pressed play.

And let's just say after that day Rachel Alucard was interested in this Anime CD and 'Ask' Kaito if he has others.

Kaito said he doesn't but he can try to get other series for her.

Sometime later Mr. Valkenhayn appeared to inform us about lunch and was surprised to see some kind of device and was playing kind of scene.

And after an explanation from Kaito, he understands a bit.

Currently She is with Mr. Valkenhayn currently watching the continuation of the first Ep of the Anime Captain Tsubasa after I lend all of them and Teach them how to operate the remote on TV and changing DVD CD.
