Interlude searching for clues

'Waver PoV

I sipped the coffee that has been prepared as I try to locate Archer by using Familiar and so I started by going where Archer and Lancer fought the Tohsaka Mansion

The place and surroundings are completely wrecked and there were many police cars and ambulances near it. and I also can see a few unfortunate victims caught in their battle.

I also spotted the War supervisor Kotomine Risei who strangely I can see a bandage near his neck and his hands also fully wrapped in it

'What happened to him ?'

and with him, an adult woman that I don't recognize helped him handle the onlookers and direct them with a simple Hypnosis

'She must be his helper or maybe another supervisor to help him handle this mess'

the Woman glanced at me and was showing a surprised expression then turned into a relieved expression, she immediately said to me to wait.

I decided to stay still as Risei perform hypnosis to take care of the remaining onlooker and approach me with the adult woman in tow.

'What do they want ?'

I cautiously waited for what they wanted to say

"Please save my daughter!" The woman speak first and I am confused at what happened Risei explain to me in detail

"First of all are you connected to the remaining Master ?"

I make the Familiar nod and he nodded back and then started explaining

"Last Night Archer has attacking me and kidnapping a young magus under my care

and planning to use her as a new Master I request your assistance in saving her, and since Archer has broken the rule by harming me the supervisor I issue the command to eliminate him and I will reward you or the remaining master with a single Command Seal if you do so" Riser said

My eyes widened in surprise and I need to inform this Kaito and Saber fast. And so I make the familiar nod before leaving for the training forset where Kaito train with Saber.

I found them quickly and Kaito who was busy sparring with Saber sensed my familiar

He immediately jumped back and put a stop motion with his hand

"Saber stop" Saber also sensed the arrival of my familiar and stared in my direction before nodding to Kaito

"What is it Waver-san?" luckily we already make a simple signal so we can communicate with a Familiar gesture and I make the Familiar bird flap its wings 3 times and it means there was an emergency please come back to the base as soon as possible

Kaito nodded seriously at that

"Saber we are going back" then Kaito placed his hand on Saber and teleport back into his home.

and I leave the familiar in there as a finished my coffee and deliver the information I got.

"Archer has kidnapped someone to be his new Master, This is a serious situation we are in since that means Archer can fight with his full power if that is true" Commented Kaito then he standing up

"Kidnapping a little girl to use as his prana source, how despicable you can be Archer?" Saber commented in contempt

" Calm down Saber, first We must confront the war supervisor to confirm the truth since we already know the church is allied with Tokiomi Tohsaka and there was a chance this is a trap," Kaito said and Saber nodded in understanding

"Waver-san did you want to come with us ?"

I briefly thought to use my status as the master that already lost his servant to use the sanctuary of the church but decided to not do it

"No, I will remain in here and search for Archer's hints of his whereabouts with my Familiar if he is not in the church"

I declined the invitation and explain my reason to him and even if Archer was in there he cannot possibly start the fighting in broad daylight

Kaito nodded and leave with Saber to the church while I resumed searching for Archer based on Archer's personality since he already has a new Master he might stay in an expensive place. and so I searched for him in various Hotels

*Sometime later

'There is still no such luck in locating him, I already checked all of the expensive hotels in the Fuyuki'

I groan in frustration

"Just where is Archer staying ?" I lean back on the chair since it was tiring checking them all carefully as now I know he has a potential hostage even if it's his new master.

"...Let's try the luxurious available residence then, maybe he is staying in one"

with that, I continued my research on Archer and barely notice when Kaito and Saber are back all ready and giving me a cup of water

"So how was it ?" I ask as I drink the water and continue my search for Archer

" It's True, Archer has kidnapping a little girl to act as his new Master and Prana Battery"

Kaito confirmed and I nodded absentmindedly as I still searched for Archer

then he continues talking as the little girl's identity is Tohsaka Rin, Tokiomi's daughter, and Sakura's older sister

He also showed his new Command Seals in his hand

Then I felt my Familiar enter some kind of Bounded field in one of the Luxury Residence.

"Kaito I found something," I said to him and I handed the controller of Familiar to him.

Kaito easily control it and projected what the familiar see on the wall.

"That place" we hear Saber murmur and we glanced at her in a questioning manner

"What is it, Saber ?" Kaito asks as the Familiar continues flying forward now just outside the house and the door is destroyed completely.

and when we saw the inside we are shocked to see a dead woman that I don't recognize

"Ms. Maiya !" Saber shouted in worry

"Maiya Hisau, Emiya Kiritsugu comrade" Kaito explain to me briefly about her identity

The Familiar looked around but we still don't see the Feinberg woman.

"Saber we will check in there personally," Kaito told his servant and he nodded at me before touching Saber's shoulder and teleporting in there.

"Please be safe Kaito" I murmured in worry because there was currently only one person that we know that doing this and that is Archer thanks to Kaito and Caster's information

he knows the secret of Einzbern and therefore it is possible Archer targeted the Einzbern woman because she is the grail.
