A club, a spear and a sword

The speed at which Berserker was swinging his club increased once again and Aqua, who was distracted watching Illyasviel's reaction, couldn't dodge it.

Being hit on the side of her body threw her across the street and into a small clearing nearby. As soon as she stopped herself from rolling any further and regained balance, she started casting healing spells on herself.

She had thought about using purification to try and reduce Berserker's madness, which should in turn make him weaker, however she immediately gave up the idea, after all having Heracles regain clarity and fight using experience and tactics instead of instinct would be even more dangerous.

While Aqua was casting healing spells on herself, Illyasviel ordered Berserker to continue attacking.

She didn't know how that servant knew her and her father's name, so she wasn't planning on actually killing her. She would tell Berserker to stop once the other servant was too weakened to do anything, then she would ask all her questions before having the blue-haired servant die.

Right now she was extremely pissed and all she wanted was to release her anger and make that servant who brought her family up pay.

[ Rin pov ]

Rin, who had been frozen on her spot watching Aqua get more and more injured, stopped her thoughts and doubts and ran in her servant's direction.

It was true that she wanted to save her sister more than she had ever wanted anything before, however, the annoying goddess she got for a servant had been there for her, she consoled Rin when no one else was there, she told her about her sister's pain, her father's sins, the servant that betrayed her father, the man that killed him, she even told her about why her mother had been in a wheelchair almost insane.

She understood that, in this world where everyone took things away from her, Aqua had been the only one to give her something.

While running in her servant's direction, praying that she was fine, sweat started forming on her forehead and neck, she couldn't help but wonder what if something had happened? What if when she got there... NO, her command seal was intact and she still felt the connection, so everything was okey.

As soon as she saw her servant, hurriedly casting healing spells on herself while alternating between dodging, blocking and reflecting, she began thinking of what she could do to help.

She knew that in a battle between servant's, masters are nothing more than baggage, but there must be something she can do to help!

Watching Aqua fight so desperately, even though everything could be solved if she used a command spell, just to give her sister a higher chance of being saved, she came to the realisation that she was slowly falli-

[ 3rd pov ]

Aqua,´s eyes widened, she had both hands raised, holding her staff which was blocking Berserker's club. Golden blood started trickling down from her nose, while a golden line formed from her lips down to her chin.

A red spear was embedded on her chest from behind.

.

Berserker looked for a moment at the spear coming out of his opponent's chest before raising his head and following with his eyes the spear's trajectory. He saw a blue haired man wearing a clearly annoyed scowl on his face, rushing in his direction.

[ Rin pov (before the fight - after getting Avalon out of Shiro)]

"This scabbard was inside of him?! How?"

"Yeah, it was in his soul, the problem was that it spent too long there so it has kind of fused with him. I needed him to willingly give it up, otherwise it would have been much more annoying to separate it without destroying his soul."

"I see... I suppose this scabbard belonged to the Saber we will summon right? It's beautiful..."

"Indeed, it belonged to the Saber we will summon, however I won't tell you who it is. It will be much more enjoyable for her to tell you."

"Her? I can only think of one woman who wielded a sword and was famous enough."

"Well, you would be surprised. Around half the Sabers I know of were women"

"Really?!"

"Indeed, anyway we should keep it within you for now. It has some pretty op healing abilities so if we were to separate for whatever reason it should protect you a bit. Once we return at we can have dinner and then at 2 am we summon her."

"I see... I can't think of any legend involving a healing scabbard. Well we should focus on getting Shirou back, I already finished making dinner so we better hurry up, otherwise it will be too cold to eat when we return."

"Good idea master."

"About this scabbard... what is it called?"

"Well well, you trying to get some clues? It doesn't really matter, but it's called-"

[ Rin pov (back to the time of the fight)]

The pain from the cuts on her wrists combined with the blood loss had already dulled the felling of her arms, it complicated drawing such a big circle but it didn't make her slow down, her servant needed her and this was all she could think of doing without having to use a command seal.

Once the circle was finished she raised her eyes to see her work and without wasting any time chose to proceed with the summoning

"MANIFEST YOURSELF, AVALON!"

Once the golden scabbard was in the center of the circle, she started chanting as fast as possible without messing up the lines.

"For the element silver and iron,

the vanishing stone and the archduke of pacts

and for my great mater Schweinolg, close the four gates,

come forth from the crowds follow the forked road leading to the kingdom,

fill fill fill fill fill, repeat five times, but when each is filled, destroy it.

Set, head my words,

my will creates your body and your sword creates my destiny,

if you heed the grails call, and obey my will and reason then answer me.

I hereby swear that I shall be all the good in the world, that I shall defeat all evil in the world.

Seventh heaven clad in the great words of power

FROM THE BINDING CIRCLE, THOU GUARDIAN OF THE SCALES"

The circle, which started glowing since the chants began shined with blinding intensity, strong enough to force Rin to cover her eyes.

Once the light dimmed enough for Rin to open her eyes, a blonde girl surrounded by mist came to view.

As the mist dispersed from around her, her voice was heard.

"I ask you... are you my master?"

"Yes I am, now take me to the battle!"

"The battle? I see, there is indeed a battle near, very well master." said Saber, her eyes moving in the direction where the battle was taking place.

Making their way towards the battle while being carried by Saber took only an instant, Rin arrived with Saber to see a spear impaled on Aqua.

"AQUAAAAA!!!! Saber go and save her now!"

"Understood master."

Saber closed the distance between herself and the two combatants as fast as possible and took chance of Berserker being distracted watching something to grab the blue-haired woman her master called Aqua.

Berserker, even though he felt no ill-intent from the blonde woman, chose to swing his club at her while still paying most of his attention to the blue-haired man who threw the spear.

The blonde servant ducked before taking Aqua by the waist, the spear embedded on her chest was no longer there, yet the golden blood kept flowing out of her wounds.

As soon as the blonde girl appeared the blue-haired man stopped, the scowl on his face grew further for a moment, as if he had received bad news, before he proceeded to retreat.

Watching the man who interrupted his fight leave like if nothing happened and the blonde servant having already taken the blue-haired servant he was fighting away, Berserker couldn't help but be annoyed, however he chose to return to his master's side. The appearance of new servants meant that he would need new orders and, while it was true that one of the servants did not attack and the other left, that could change any moment.
