~Background Part II~

That all ran in my mind I was struggling to get out of their grasped but nothing worked. Then he spoke to me "Stop trying to move brat it's only going to get worse for you if you keep moving." The only reason I was moving was because I didn't want them to see my face especially if it Levi but I wasn't completely sure that is was him.

(Lets get some Levi POV cause why not 😗😛🤷‍♀️)

Levi POV

The masked person that people called Reaper was good. I was able to keep up with them. Though no on else could because they didn't know the routes especially for escaping. Once I had gotten a good clean hit on them they pinned the Reaper down. "Oh how long the MP's have been trying to get you." They had called us to do this because I had known the place even if I had been wanting to forget it for so long.

I had memories here good one and bad ones. The good ones from Isabel, Farlan and Y/n. Isabel and Farlan had died already but I didn't know about Y/n. In my head I thought 'Maybe I could use this as a chance to see if I could find her after all this time.' I remember the look in her eyes when we left her of course we didn't want to leave her but, we didn't want her to get caught too.

I had zoned out but came back to reality when the commander said "Now lets unmask you and see who you really are Reaper." Then they had taken the mask off Reaper and I was shocked to my very core. It was y/n but at the moment I had to keep myself together. I had so many questions how was she? How did she survive? These questions all came into my head but I had to keep my cool. I was keeping my self from jumping on her and giving her a hug. I was not one to show my feelings but for her I would do it for her and only her.

Y/n POV

"Now lets unmask you and see who you really are Reaper." Those words made me scared and made me want t escape even more. I was struggling a lot just to get out but I couldn't so I let my self be unmasked. When I was unmasked they were shocked 'Wow they couldn't expect the Reaper would be a girl how rude' I thought.

I looked at them will the most killer look I could give them. I wanted them to know not to mess with me and take me lightly. I could see the look on their faces they were scared. I couldn't fight my way out of here unless I used all my force. I am stubborn after all so I went with fighting with all my force. I was able to get out of their reach my ODM gear was messed up a little but I still could use it.

I was almost back to making it out but someone had grabbed my hood and pulled me back. When I looked at the person who pulled me back I felt my heart drop. It really was Levi I was so distracted I didn't even feel when he threw me to the wall. He grabbed me and kneed me in the stomach. It had been some while since I felt pain from Levi. Then the commander came up from behind him and said "How did you catch up to her that fast?" "Because I knew she would try to do this because she never gives up even when backed up into a corner."

"Wow Levi it's been sometime since I got my ass beat from you hasn't it." "It sure has hasn't it." The other scouts where shocked on how we talked to each other with such ease. "Well shorty looks like you haven't grown from the last time I saw you." "Well looks like you haven't matured have you." "Of course not at least I know how to have fun and relax unlike some people." "I wonder how do you not aged quite a bit." "Wow so flattering you gave me compliment never would think to get a compliment from you Levi. Now if you don't mind I would like to go. I have a few jobs to do." I said as I tried to get up and walk away. "Hey don't be so mean will you give me a hand." As I said that I rolled my eyes.

Levi POV

I knew she would try to run away that's just how she is. It was the fist time in years that I wanted to smile and hug her. Though I still had to stop her from getting away. "Well shorty looks like you haven't grown from the last time I saw you." "Well looks like you haven't matured have you." I said I couldn't believe she was talking to me like this. I almost forgot we were in public.

"I wonder how do you not aged quite a bit." I had even shocked my self when I said that to her. Though I wasn't lying she looked even more beautiful from before. "Wow so flattering you gave me compliment never would think to get a compliment from you Levi. Now if you don't mind I would like to go. I have a few jobs to do."

"I don't think so." "Come on what did I do?" "Do I have to explain?" "Nope I know what I did. So I will except my punishment." People were shocked that she would take the punishment so easily after trying to escape a punishment. "One thing is this game was not fair sorry commander but try catching me without Levi next time well at least in the next life." She said that all as if it was nothing. I was shocked the one person I have left would take the punishment without caring.

"No I am not going to punish you but I do have a job for you." "Huh what's the job commander and how come you aren't going to kill me?" "Well because if I killed you that would be a great loss for talent like your self. I also know that someone would kill me if I did too." He looked right at me.

"I want you to join the Scout Regiment." "What's going to happen if I say no?" "Well then I could leave you to the MP's." "I wouldn't try for you to leave me to the MP's or else they might end up dead and me getting away. You wouldn't want that now would you."

He took her seriously at what she said because it had taken a while even for us to track her down. She was always on the move doing job and killing. "So will you join or not?" "Sure why not it doesn't seem that hard."

Y/n POV

Just like that I had joined the Scout Regiment. I had also gained the fact of getting Levi back to me. I knew there was something wrong with Levi I could tell after all we had sleepless nights of us talking about anything. I felt like I knew what was wrong with him but I didn't want to say it. It took me a while to realize no Farlan or Isabel and then it hit me. It struck me like lightning to see in his eyes why I could see emotions of him happy he found me and why he didn't let me go.

Once we had gotten in the walls I asked were the nearest bathroom was. I rushed there and felt like I was about to throw up but I didn't my stomach hurt so bad and so did my chest. All our memories were running through my head. I was having a panic attack and it hurt like hell. Levi had rushed into the bathroom and held me he knew that I figured it out. "They didn't make it did they" I looked at him "They didn't it was the first mission. It's my fault I left them. Please I didn't mean too don't hate me you're the last person I have left.

I looked at him "You know I don't blame and I would never they wouldn't want that." He looked at me broken "I want to tell you something they always told me to tell you." "What is i-" I didn't get to finish because he kissed me. It took me a second to kiss him back but I did because he is the man I loved for a long time, I always did and always have.

Then out of no where someone yelled "YES GET IT SHORTY MAKE SHORT BABIES!" That caught the attention of both of us. We both looked at each other with embarrassment mostly Levi because he is Levi and never showed emotion this was the first time for him.

This is how Levi and I met together with the red sting of fate. Just by them catching me I was brought back to Levi. That is the story on how I got into the Scout Regiment and got with Levi. That night was one of the best nights I had of sleep in years. I was the same like Levi we both had insomnia.
